What if River is a future incarnation of the doctor ? I mean, it could be that. Because she replaced him, under the human law she will be suspected to have killed the doctor, that could be why she "killed" a man. And that could be the reason why she is his future, and why she knows all the things about him and the TARDIS. And, you know, we know the childish side of the doctor, that could be why she plays with the eleventh incarnation, and why she will be the person he'll trust the more in...

River being Amy's daughter is really interesting too, though! But it means that the father is more the doctor than Rory, and I don't understand why Moffat would try to convince us about the true love between amy and rory since season 5 if Amy just goes with the doctor. Or maybe she was right about the timehead...
Anyway, I really hope she and the doctor will really be married, but when we know Moffat, it seems a little to easy to guess, no?

Think of the time energy around Amy due to hole in her bedroom and add Rory and the Tardis time vortex to the mix and you get River which means that Timelords are evolved form Humans. So that means that the Doctor is creating his own past in the future, nows that timey- wimey!

@Chloette333 it was at the end of silence in the library/ forest of the dead, when river had died and gone to the place that everyone was 'saved' into. Sorry I couldn't word that better but yeh
They should have really introduced her in during Chris Eccelston's run as the Doctor than she could have had a role in the lives of all three 'relaunch' versions.
Of course, the writers didn't know that he was only going to do one season.

Gorgeous. I love this - the song is perfect, because the diary is the book of their love I suppose. I wonder who she is. This really summed up their relationship. I especially liked the line "things we're all too young to know", because Ten was 'too young' to know of the devotion he would someday feel for her.
Eleven is adorable. Not a huge fan of this pairing, I think they seem pretty platonic to me, but still cute. She acts like his Mum, more than a lover. god, what if she is? LOL all the wife jokes... omg... XD.

Amy and Rory conceived Melody/River on the TARDIS in flight, which altered her DNA to include something resembling primitive time lords.
