The top model isn't exactly a "Beast" either, as it still weights 4,100 pounds and makes 425hp, still not great, and why a 6.1L engine in it? It's 2011 why use such bad technology? If you compare a SE to a civic Si, the civic is better, and SRT8 isnt as good of car as say a M3. For the cost value its horrible.

The hemi would outright destroy it and the srt8? There aren't too many vehicles out there that could beat that, not even an m3 (which is mid size, not full size).

I got mine up here in Canada for $7,500 with about 55k on it. Just pay cash and be aggressive with your offers and remember that someone out there will accept your offer, even if you have to wait.

I went into the dealership and said I wanted a 2007 Dodge Charger. I wanted it on the road for $7,500 everything in.

Took about an hour but I got my way. Just don't bend at all. Stay with your offer. I got it for lower than normal. I would say go in with $9,000 cash and play hard.

That's a pretty wicked deal. Even if I were offered that though, I couldn't take it. My career hasn't progressed enough at my younger age of 26, and a buddy owned the SRT8 back in high school. He was always broke because of the maintenance repairs and the high-quality parts he had to buy.

Still, the price of the car is unbeatable! Good find.

Well the one I have is pretty much just the shell. It was a restored shell and it's primered. No engine, but I have the chassis and undercarriage. We managed to find the original rims and managed to restore them. The engine is going to cost a bit but it's a project I can work on for a few years. I love it, but I don't know if I want to keep it as a collector car and find original parts or just put a DOHC V8 in it and keep it as a toy.

The are changing the air compressor and putting all new tires on it. $112 each. Yikes! but oh well, I can't wait to drive my baby home and give them back their '09 Chrysler Sebring loaner car.

It was called the charger back in the day to rival the Mustang. They named it the charger because it's similarity to the origins of "mustang" subtly suggested it was Mustang's competition.

I had an 05 Mustang and traded it for this. Although the mustang looks bad ass, this is def more me ust because it's easier on fuel and has a better trunk space. 4dr practicality with 2dr attitude. Love it.

I got my 08 charger 3.5 l sxt brand new and could not be happier. 20,500$. I live in the desert in California and this car can handle it all. 115 degrees in the summer runnin 90 on the freeway like its nothin. Shes a champ in snow too, the esp system keeps the car from sliding, i had chains on too, no prob. I f you reply i can tell you plenty more,What other car on the road right now can fit two passengers a full 7 pc drumset and still blow the doors off of 95% of cars on the road.Charger!

No problems, and it's a 07. Oil change here and there, yearly tires, non gas efficient. Good thing about it...takes off fast and steering doesn't shake like most vehicles do when you hit high speeds.

Maybe if you get a newer model, like an 08 or 09, I hear lots of the 08's never been driven.

This car is truly crap. It has 3.5 v6 with 250 hp....a Toyota Yaris has a 1.5 4 cylinder with 106 hp.....and the Yaris will be about half a second faster from 0 to 60 mph! That's ridiculous!! The Charger is heavier than an SUV and it's supposed to be "sporty"!!

And the Yaris will do 40+ mpg. So, if you're truly dumb and you don't care about gas prices, get the Charger. If you still want a "muscle", then get a Mustang. Much nicer, actually fast and has a choice of trannies.

My 06 SXT Charger comes with every power option available, it even has power adjustable pedals, tilt/telescoping steering wheel and a sun roof. I could fit your yaris in my trunk and still have 4 passengers ride in comfort and style. I will sacrafise a few miles per gallon to get the safety from my Charger. People complement me on my Charger. I don't think you get that in your yaris.

But look... comparing your car versus a "full family car", like a Passat, the Passat's still faster with two cylinders less, it's more efficient, can still fit Michael Moore in the back seat, the price is still friendly, and the appareance is quite fancy.
