  • long live the bull!!!

  • Is the song supposed to be synonymous? Old 96 one shook me all night due to horrible alignment and shocks.

  • I love my 2000 SEL Silver Frost it was my car that i used to travel to and from highschool in and i still use it to commute to and from college and i also have a 2002 Platinum Edition Sable as a back up. these 3.0 Duratecs are beasts as long as you take care of them and the transmissions are pretty sturdy if you keep them properly mantained.

  • I drive a 99 Taurus, and I think it's absolutely hilarious that anybody took the time to make a tribute for them.

  • @erniegasgnon

Uhh, Yes it is reliable. And it was fast, 0-60 in 9 seconds in the early 90's. You are a dumb ass to criticize it. Go fuck yourself. YEAH!

  • A tribute to the biggest shit can car America ever produced.

  • @fredtflail

Go fuck yourself you Dutch shithead.

  • the best sedan u will ever get! i had a 97 and it is still being used!

  • Very happy with my 07 Taurus, very dependable and built solid I made no mistake buying it.

  • '

is this car taurus can pull a tow with a big heavy boat with a trailer on 112,,,

    i dont think so,,,

    only big pick up truck

  • like the song but i had a 1998 ford taurus with the 24 valve duratech engine and it SUCKS. there was always something wrong with it, and every problem i had was a bitch and a half to fix. what should be a 1hr job if that, like replacing an alternator or distributer is a 3+ hour job. ended up giving it to my dad wen he got his license back and bought a 1988 mercury grand marquis. the only problem that car has is a drinking problem, but it has twice the room everywhere than the taurus

  • @tippman2k01

Then you must bea fucking dick face. Becaue I also have a 98 with the Duratec, and It's the best sedan i've ever driven. It's actually much easier to fix than my Mazda that breaks down every FUCKING second. I bought a Taurus with a an alternator issue, fixed it right up at an Autobody shop FFS.

The Merc Marquis is a great car as well.

  • @SecularTechnology my 98 taurus was a pos that was always having problems. i replaced it with a 1988 mercury grand marquis and i have no intention on going back

  • 1988 Grand marquis...MUCH better car...

  • @jakesaintsrow123 ik...the only problem my 88 marquis has is a drinking problem. other than that, its much more comfortable than my old 98 taurus, it hauls more ass, less shit goes wrong with it, and the trunk is so big i can take my gf and have sex in it. lol

  • @SecularTechnology fuck you dick face duratec's suck fucking cocks

  • @thewindowsxp32

    FUCK YOU TOO.

You are fucking shit face. Duratec was a very good engine, actually it created fucking 200 Hp back when 3L were making fucking 145 Hp. God you are a fucking bitch.

  • @SecularTechnology fuck you go to fucking dick hell

  • @thewindowsxp32

Fuck you yourself dick face. "dick hell". Is that where you live? Wow I bet you get annaly raped a shit load.

  • @SecularTechnology fuck you i think you just jelus beacause the the taurus is a awesome car

  • @thewindowsxp32

Wtf are you talking about I know it's an awesome car.

  • outside of little things falling apart or even off my taurus, i love it and the day i get rid of it is the day i can see spare change through the floor. 1997 ford taurus gl, 3.0 v6 vulcan, ax4n 4speed transaxel with overdrive, power windows, locks, remote entry, power trunk, power driver's seat, power mirrors, alloy wheels, 4 wheel abs disc brakes. 130,000 miles and still smells new.

  • @boredmud I have the same taurus as you, and replace the trans twice, but cant get rid of it

  • @jr10385 they are awesome, the only car i would take over a taurus is an 89 bonneville!!

  • taurus is the best the only thing dat stoped me was when i crashed not that long ago and even though i took it to the shop reconnected the fuses and it turned on like a beauty but i mest up my radiator the front of the car and the whhel axle i think but its under construction

  • Best car ever built ever!!! Period.

  • i got a 1996 Taurus 3 weeks ago. Scary little bastard. Hit 110mph, scary how fast it moves. Eletrical is eh and the transmission clunks into gears, bad motor mount i think. Only paid $450 and an extra 400 for parts. i love my baby :-)

  • got a 96 taurus. it can do anything, mudding, burnouts, you name it. jumped it even. 400000+ mile

  • Get the Duratec SES version.

    Sadly I have the SE.

  • Where is the very first red, 1986 Ford Taurus Located. I know its in a Museum, obviously, lol. I really want to go see it. I have seen it, in other views, on google images, but could never find its location. I really want to go see it.

  • @jordy19892012 How bout the 1988 sable convertible they made and stored in a warehouse and sold on ebay in 2006. I would love to see it because there are no pics!

  • I have a 96 Taurus GL V6 and i love it to death and i have eaten a few impalas with it since i baught it 3 months ago. !!!!!!!!!!TAURUS POWER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have 2 of these beuties, one white, and one gold.

  • My sister traded in her 1999 Taurus SE yesterday for a 2010 Nissan Sentra SR. We're all happy to be rid of that heap of junk. Electrical problems like none other, had brakes replaced 3 times in 6 months, linkage btwn shifter and trans snapped, seats felt like a rod was stabbing you in the back, antenna snapped off years ago (not really the cars fault :P), gear shifts like a WWII tank, and the paint was peeling! Did well in snow tho :P.

  • User Error.

  • ford taurus WOOT WOOT WOOT vroooomm!!!!!!!!!!! 01 wagon in the comments baby!

  • I really like the Taurus. I would have the say, as far as syling, the first generation Taurus is my favorite. I really liked the third generation too. A friend of mine had a 1995 Taurus, it had 212,000 almost trouble-free miles when he sold it. The only things, other than matinence it needed was a water pump and a ball joint!

  • RONALDO

  • oh. good song choice btw. :)

  • Comment removed

  • GEN3 PULLIN A BOAT! WOOOT!

  • how about you learn about cars before you make dumb comments aye?

  • hey dude I dont even remember what is typed but i like the sables more

  • I had a civic and it blew its tranny. Your point?

  • Yeah i know wtf

  • only problem i ever had with my taurus was i was driving it ant my hands blocked the oil pressure light....destroyed the motor but all it needed was bearings..still driving it today over 600k miles on it

  • you must go to mexico alot or something 600k is alot of miles lol

  • America`s BEST SEDAN is TAURUS!!

  • @takutaq That's a lot of bull.

  • TOTALLY AGREE! I to am the proud owner of a 2002 Taurus SEL (Minus the Jeep Grand Cherokee) Purchased it in '06 @ 60K miles, now at 105K PROBLEM FREE! (must say though,...the 2010 IS tempting me)

  • taurus is still rolling off the line. i guess they just couldn't give it up.

  • Awsome video!

    Awsome cars!

  • Back in 2002, we drove a silver Taurus SEL off the lot brand new. In May 2006, after 158,000 FLAWLESS miles, and surviving two prior wrecks, it was finally totaled out by a Jeep Grand Cherokee running a red light. That was the most problem free car we have ever had, WAY better then the '04 Lincoln LS that replaced it. Tauruses are great cars.

I also got to go on a tour of the Hapeville, GA Ford plant back in 2005, where all the REAL Tauruses were built. It was very cool.

  • japan car mazda

  • 97 ford taurus v6 baby.lol

  • Yo tengo 2 taurus y no me arrepiento...87 y 91...Good cars¡¡¡¡

  • nothin like a front wheel drive burnout lol

  • truly the perfect car for all most anybody i mean u can do so many things with a taurus

  • they cant sell the thing so there importing the ford Carina from Canada

  • 144.5k on my 2k Taurus and still going strong. Even if I get an 08 or 09, I'm keeping this one.

  • @azdude81 yeah dude, i got a 2k Taurus with like 238k on it, runs like a beauty.

  • I like the burnout at the end, hardy haar!!!

  • love these go taurus

  • FORD TAURUS STAND UP

  • those things last loooooong

  • 1:13 LOL!!!!!!

  • Ford Kills All!

  • I like the 96-99 Taurus line the best. The worst looking Taurus' were the 86-91 line.

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • You Shook Me All Nite Long by AC/DC.

  • gotta love the taurus! i drive a SHO greatest sedan ever made hands down.

  • gtfo!

  • That would be either the pinto or the contour...

  • lol i have a wagon and am 17 lloll but a bmw is coming soon

  • I Love the Taurus but i hate the wagons there ugly

  • fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down UGLY. i like the lines of the 00-07 better than the bubble 96-99 years. but as least if u drive a taurus wagon u dont have to worry about it being stolen. it was rated as the least stolen vehicle some years back. judging by its looks i can see y ha ha

  • ahh the ford taurus....gotta love the transmissions

  • my 01 ses has the AX4N tranny which is better than the older AX4S but its still stupidly slow on the downshifts unless u bary ur foot into the carpet.

  • My friend drives a white Ford Taurus LX (94 or 95) and it's a sweet car. My parents used to own a light green 93 Taurus GL and its an uber awesome car! My friends think I'm weird about Ford Tauruses but they don't know the benefits of the Ford Taurus!

  • i had a 1993 taurus 3.8 auto and i loved it

  • still remember my tauruaii fondly...saw the second one the other day and talked to the new owner - she loved it. Suprising considering it was absolutely stuffed thanks to my driving...its the blue one in the first burnout (new zealand). Aussie Falcon will be getting taurus' 3.5v6 (plus turbo version) in 2010 - the current 4.0 turbo puts out up to 310kw so the high tech 3.5 sounds promising. Watch this space!

  • Awesome my favorite car AND my favorite band in ONE video!

  • the standard 3.0 ,which is all cast iron , just outlasts many others....and it pulls the car around with no problem , it dosnt work very hard..it is bulletproof

  • Yeah actually the 3.0 on the Gen1 is pretty quick it lacks the torque of the 3.8 but has the same hp and is lighter.

  • they are great cars, unlike the crap made by gm,mopar

  • apparently windnsea03 has never owned a taurus. they should try one out.

  • yeah, really great cars. like anvils. especially with the torquey 3.o vulcan, i know only 150 hp(153), but it moved the car really well , indestructalbe and they are ALL cast iron. maybe one of fords best engines. a gm v6 is guaranteed to need some big repairs, early.like geadgasket , etc.

and you can get , or could , an 06 for like 10 grand

  • Yeah I used to have a 94 with the 3.0 vulcan. Suspension went long before the engine every did. Now I got an 03 with the 3.0 duretec. But it doesn't seem to be plagued with half as many problems as the earlier ones on the SHOs. It runs great and I got that 200hp.(wanted a muscle car and couldn't afford one, so this was the next best thing) My friend has an 01 Grand Am Gt and he's had that thing in so many times to have it serviced it's like not even funny.

  • hey yeah, what is it with grand ams? the worst car known to man.. every 3.1 equipped one goes to shit at 60k? so many headgaskets. the fours are better , but.plus i am 5'8" and there is no headroom in those pos's.

yeah the sho's were cool but....plus every one seemed to get beat to shit.yamaha engine?

as an "older " dude , love my fusion (v6), fast and affordable.

  • my 1st car, a 92 grand am se was an EXPENSIVE POS. i find out after reading up on it that the whole quad 4 engine family is riddled with problems. for some reaons i kept on burning up the coil pack/housing every 6 months and once that happened, id lose a cylinder or 2 lol. them fusions are nice looking cars...watch out for them in '09 when they get the duratec 35!

  • yeah , like why did all quad 4's suffer from lousey sensors - etc. great idea - didnt work. and i was pulling for them at the time

  • it was just a bad platform to begin with. think of it as early coil on plug ignition. the housing and two coil packs sat right on top of the head. the car cost me about $1600 but i spend at least that much in parts...no more GM for me

  • yeah , you are 100 percent right - and the electronics were really bad .

  • i think when i got it, the car had a spun a bearing or something had burnt out...always had a slight misfire, even when warm and the engine got REAL rackety at higher rpms...it was rated at 120hp when when new...i think i got had and got a lawnmower instead lol

  • There's something undeniably American about the taurus. It makes your heart warm doesn't it? My family's had 6 taurus's since i was born, including 3 SHO's. The taurus SHO is the car that got me into cars. The next taurus will be sick!

  • Once you own a ford there is no other company better! Fords are the best! i have a 2003 Ford taurus SEL fully loaded auto climate control dual power seats power pedals everything! I love it! Its way better than the average boring camrys and accords!

  • The 2010 Taurus is getting an extreme facelift. Will look very European (Jaguar XF-like), spy pics leaked early.

  • Yeah, i saw one of the pics, looks sorta looks like a Toyota...

  • love my 01 SES with the Duratec 30/AX4N tranny...pretty respectable for what it is...

  • A fine car. My family had two Tauri, a teal '93 wagon and a green '94 sedan. The wagon's still with us, but the sedan got totaled (sad); it got replaced with, you guessed it, another Taurus (red '97).

  • I just bought a 1995 GL from a nice old lady with 22,300 miles. It may look like a grandma mobile in tan, but its WAAAY more comfortable than my 98 accord and 96 camry were. All it needed was brake lines, and it rides like a luxury car. Once all the new speakers and radio is installed it should be perfect. I was always skeptical about fords, especially since my mechanic father said they were no good, but this Taurus is just amazing and even he thinks so.

  • people can make fun all they want. i have an 05 and its a great car. solid, and fast. surprises many people at stoplights.

  • love my sho but its slowly becoming a money pit i just cant afford.:(

  • i got a 98 taurus with 171,000 miles on it...never put any money into it....was a good idea to get one.

  • i just turned 16 and got a 99 taurus for my birthday and i love it

  • dude its back now so and i like how the taurus drives my mom had one i like them there good cars so i know what you mean i was sad when they where taken off the production like but i am happy that there back

  • I don't understand. If you love Ford Tauruses then why would you burn the tires for so long. That just ruins the car.

  • it ruins the tires...not the car

  • Anyone have trouble with your heater ? my 2000 blows cold air if the engine is idleing. It has a new EGR valve and thermostat

  • Wait for it to warm up.

  • I had trouble with my heater in my taurus and I knew it was either the heater core or the thermostat. I put a new thermostat in it and checked the core and it didn't make a difference. I took apart the rubber pipe connected to the heater core and it was totally gummed up so I ran drain-o through it and all the shit came out now it will give u heat stroke!

  • I currently own a '98 SE with 154,000 miles on it. I've had it since 2004 and it's still going strong. Before it I had a '94 LX. Great family car.

  • W00T! Taurus tribute! How awesome! These are definitely my favorite. I've got a 2001 SES and I absolutely love it. I think I will always stick with Ford, and hopefully with a Taurus. Have you seen the new ones? Wow. I can't wait to get my hands on one of those!

  • lol a ford taurus tribute.

that was my first car. :]

  • Thats BS, you just don't know how to drive a Taurus or take care of one and I stand by the Taurus as the best car made by Ford.

  • ur a fuckin retard

  • right back to you Bitch

  • wow great come back i can tell you love the taurus

  • if you praise that you mine as

well praise a pile of baby shit

  • Maybe later you FREAK

  • wow!!!

  • go troll a duramax vid.

  • as i romp all over your taurus sho with my dmax faggot

  • Goes to show how educated you are. thanks for sharing.

  • very nice video i am a big tuner fan and tuner owner but this has to be my fav 4 door ford of all time i dont know why but i like them.

  • I have a '97 GL sedan, other than a factory oops with the transmission, it has been a perfect vechicle, 10years old w/ more than 75000 miles on it. combines big american car with euro durability and style.

  • i had a 91 wagon...it went 7 years without an oil change had over 200,000 miles on it radiator died there was a hole in the floor where you could see the road...the electric windows died but it still ran and drove strong...i had to get rid of it however it needed so much work to pass the next inspection. it went 2 years uninspected

  • there is no way that you ran a car with the same oil for 7 years. love the taurus but there is no way. the oil would become thin and you engine would sieze up

  • yea all i did was add oil cause it burned it i never took any out tho

  • oh that explains it..haha

  • Taurus and Sable rock, if it weren't for them we would all be driving brick shaped cars.

  • hahaahaha i got a friend who had a 97' taurus was doin 40mph through town and this dumb bitch pulled out infront of him in a 06' ford f-350 crew cab long bed and he fuckin TORE the hole rear axel OFF the truck and bent the frame..... he was in a fuckin taurus...

ps the taurus was also totaled lol

  • ok this can be deleted now... the taurus pos is back.

  • HAHA!!! yeah baby. @:58 it's looks like my 97 SHO. same color and all.

  • My wife has had 3 Tauruses and for her next car she wants the 08 model. her 2000 LX just went over 100,000 and it still runs great.

NO PROBLEMS but she likes the new body style better. I find the taurus a very comfortable car.

We recently took a 700 mile trip in her car and we averaged 27 MPG out of the Vulcan with the A/C running 95% of the time. We went from Arizona to L.A. and back so temperatures outside went from 110 in Arizona to 103 in LA.

    GREAT CAR.

  • i love my taurus. it has done me well. it was stolen last week and i got it back. it gets back from the mechanic tommorow. some bastard was drivin my baby.

  • Too bad you ccouldn't find him or else you would have done what his daddy should have done to that punk ass when he was growing up and that would have been beaten some respect into him.

  • mine too punched door lock and drove it 10 miles and went through my stuff. only stole navigation hahaha dumbass i had $200 multimeter and a air compressor in car

  • The Taurus is an automotive icon, that's why. This car set the stage to all car styling in what it is today. Before this car came out, cars were nothing more then square boxes.

  • lol@ the taurus pulling the boat. I wouldn't try that with my 01'

The vulcan is a decent engine but a torque powerhouse it isn't.

  • The 2nd gen SHO's were the best SHO's. When Ford dropped the manual in the 3rd gen SHO it wasn't the same.

  • i like the old bodies but the 2008 doesnt show their old looks. their nick name was the jellybean because of the shape of the body. (btw i was talking about the taurus)

  • Ford was stupid to discontinue the Taurus name. Nice to see they've learned the error of their ways and are bringing it back.

  • look on ford's website the new 2008 Ford Taurus is back, replacing the 500

  • Check out my taurus 93' yeah i think all of them had shifting problems, therefore my favorite would be a 92 SHO MTX

  • actually the 500 name is going to be dropped in favor of going back to the taurus,so it hasn't died yet,but nice video anyways

  • the taurus is being broung back. nice tribute. great job with the SHO pics

  • Out of all of them, the best by far were the 05 and 06- these cars, especially the late 90's early 2000's had REAL transmission shifting problems.

  • Those were nice vehicles.

  • RIP

  • RIP taurus. Hopefully the fusion will impress and transport this country as well as the taurus has for so long. Amazing american car, the end of an era. Great tribute too btw.

  • Thanks, we were number 1...

  • good vid, Ford will bring the Taurus back.

  • Awesome! I'm not a Ford guy or even a car guy for that matter but I was pretty sad to see it go and so was my friend.

  • Nice tribute, I do like the Taurus.
