@LATERTULIA1 te recomiendo al 1000% la interpretación de Rafal Blechacz de este mismo movimiento de esta maravillosa sonata velo escuchalo y por favor dime tu opinion =)
I am a Kissin fan for sure, but i do prefer Ivo's 4th movement over kissin... there is no better performance on youtube... and katsaris is not that bad either...and on 3:58-4:03 you can totally hear mistakes.... not that im a perfectionist, but neither katsaris or Ivo made any mistakes... i think they nailed it perfectly

Although I must admit that Kissin is one of my favorite pianists, unfortunately in this interpretation there are some gross errors of typing and troubles that are not justified in a pianist of the stature he enjoys. The final movement is forgettable, and Kissin does not hide his frustration with his eyes fixed on the piano and lip protrusion, half a second before greeting the public.
@bubuchahchah kissin is very good pianist. I just commented about this sonata. Its a matter of taste. For me its totally wrong tempo for what chopin wanted.
non mi piace tanto come fa chopin...piuttosto kissin è bravo per liszt,rachmaninoff...ma chopin proprio...troppo violento..e poi troppi stentati, e tratti interpretati stranamente non so..boh
I wonder how many women he gets a night? This is one of my fav Chopin treats! besides the beautiful 3rd mov. I met him in person. He was so exhausted from performing. For those that don't know Kissin is the BIGGEST Artist out there. He plays about 70 shows a year and there always sold out you can see why. He is just incredible!!!
I´ve played for 12 years...and by the way, have you ever watched Rubinstein play, for example? He doesn´t move so much, in fact...there´s no need to move as much as this guy does...
i think theres no need to criticize the way of expression by one of the greatest pianists living and i personally think evgeny kissin's interpretation of a lot of pieces so much better than other renowned pianists, even though he may look too young and inexperienced

totally wrong tempo and tottaly out of chopin intentions. Listen to katsaris for the best performance ever

@AkaMouTinn Wrong tempo? He's a virtuoso pianist. And if that was so, there wouldn't be hundreds of people watching him play.

@bubuchahchah What's right is not always popular, and what's popular is not always right.

That's terrific. I'm considering playing it too! How hard is it technically?
Irelandlass7789 2 years ago
hmmm.
a lot of people compare this piece with chopin etude 10-4. but i should say this piece needs more musicality and strength and so on.
technically, should be comparable to 10-4 but i found it really difficult to interpret the piece musically

A lot of people compare this piece with etude op10 no4.
I think technically, this piece shouldnt be that difficult, but what i found really difficult was expressing musicality of the piece.

extremely hard, its the chopin transcendental etude

sick!

@tommy9882: au contraire this is the easiest quick movement of the Sonatas...
and people should remember that Kissin could perform this much more quickly if he liked

if you've played an instrument for more than 10 years
you would never say that

Why do you watch him moving if you don't like? Just listen to the music... I'm sure you move perfectly, but... Kissin plays really well.
