  • Since this is NOT available on DVD, best idea ever to make the fukk movie available in this way. --- well done ---

  • I am being naive or I think that kind of buliying is just in the movies? How coe afull grown man like that can abuse that little thing?

  • I swear EVERYTHING in on youtube.

I would not be surprised if I was on youtube and didn't know it.

  • I love this movie so much, but when I first watched it I wanted to go berserk when they killed his gf, it seriously got me really pissed

  • Aww, I loved this movie as a kid! I don't remember it, but I remember it was good!

  • thanks for uploading!

  • I've seen this film on a school camp.

  • this is the way all niggers need to be treated

  • @Gaffer213 you need to WASH your pussy cus your talky stupidly and racist

MY ADVISE TO YOU IS WASH IT WITH SOAP :P

  • i saw this movie in QUEST not too long ago and had 12 questions about it with them having to have at least a paragraph each considering how much this movie impacted on me i had a lot to say :) such a great movie

  • this is a film u will learn from every time u watch it

  • bad audio

  • thanks for this. i missed watching it at school :)

  • Ts the book called who's the author

  • @KTfelz byrce courtnaey

  • I have never read the book, but I must say that I am completely in love with the music from this movie.

  • I love how the movie barely corresponds to the book, cutting out near all the characters, re-writing all of the remaining characters, eliminating Peekay's will to be welterweight champion and completely changing the ending

  • I am thank you for your work in posting the film The Power Of One, because I live in a small town in Brazil and I saw this movie once, in Goiania then never again. and had memories of the suffering of a people of an African nation who lived on some unfair rules, Greetings from BRAZIL

  • @heresjohnnnyy1 you should probably just READ the book, because it's amazing!!! and this movie is nothing like the book, so you will fail. Also, you will fail at life by not reading the book.

  • Just wanted to say that this movie was crap. Just happened to see it online when I was browsing. Rented it a few years ago, was SO disappointed- terrible casting, and so far from the book it was practically unrecognizable! Terrible.

  • To you reading for the summer the move is very different from the book read the 1st chapter and watch the movie with in five min you will see a very big differences.

  • im not going to lie. the only reason i am watching this is because i have to read the power of one for summer reading. When i was reading it, i didn't even know who the fuck was white or black. this helps.

  • PISS COCK

  • @sondeleb It's Pisskop - Pisshead.

Peekay was given this name by the Judge at his boarding school after he was pissed on, and subsequently starting pissing himself at night.

  • no more apartheid but the distribution of wealth is no different from pre-apartheid era, that is to say life hasn't been that much better for many people.

  • thank you for putting this up you are the best.

  • ....this better be as good as the book.

  • @outrayjess Which's netter?

  • @outrayjess Better* sorry.

  • So they got the book wrong from the beginning...we're not supposed to know his birth name! =.= Amazing and inspiring book though <3

  • Damn the kid got spit and pissed on. That's pretty fucked up considering hes just 8 years old and those guys are like in there teens. lol

  • whatched this at school today really good movie

  • Just finished the book, it changed my way of thinking! Brilliant!

  • Thank you so much for upload this movie ;)

  • What's the name of the song during the beginning?

  • Inspiring! This is why I want to practice medicine in Africa! And then to the heart of my heart Israel!

  • What?? That's not how he got the nickname PeeKay!

  • WHY DID HE WET HIS BED?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @keepbleedingluv101 cuz he was a young boy going through some serious trauma, i think

  • WHY WAS HE SENT TO BOARDING SCHOOL!?!

  • Why was PK sent to boarding school?

  • @keepbleedingluv101 in the novel, he was sent because his mother was sent to a concentration camp of sorts because she was misidentified as a different race, pk couldn't learn from his mom so he had to go to boarding school but because the family had little money it wasn't a very good one

he was younger than the next youngest by three years, and the older guy was actually only 12-13ish in the book AKA "the judge"

  • thank you thank you thank you thank you for uploading this

the power of one is my alltime favourite novel :D

  • He got the name Peekay from the Jewish store owner -_-

  • @TheMadFedje actually it was the conductor on the train, wasn't it? who was also the boxer?

  • Comment removed

  • @missjennvmassey No it was the jewish store owner, not hoppie groenwald, he learned his key dictum from hoppie, first with the head then with the heart.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMadFedje Was he Jewish or Indian? Maybe I need to confirm.

  • this is a sad film.

  • I <3 THE NEW EARTH HOUR SWITCH!!! :D

  • i have been looking for this film for so long i watched it when i was young and its so moving

  • I just mistaken this for Pokemon the power of one X3

  • Thank god that there's no more apartheid in south Africa

  • @BOLSHEVIXTREME ..Im not sure when you were last in RSA but there is loads of apartheid there still in 2011.

  • @BOLSHEVIXTREME but there is in israel :S

  • @kamandeez and palestine

  • @BOLSHEVIXTREME i said israel because alot of people don't know palestine...the palestinians have been under aparthied in south africa for more than 50 years and it continues till today

  • @BOLSHEVIXTREME and now you have discrimination against whites...when will that stop?

  • @doczg88 unlkess all decent people of all races unite and try to stamp out discrimination against all races religions cultures etc, i dont think discrimination in general will stop

  • @BOLSHEVIXTREME fair say...but the power is now held by blacks...they must end it...they are the majority...

  • @doczg88 i agree with you and im black

racism cannot be justified by racism

  • @BOLSHEVIXTREME very nice statement...the white western world force the SA to quit apartheid...it would be nice if black African states force SA to give minority of 5 million people equal rights, the same as majority...the present situation is very ugly...what I read about economic, language and cultural discrimination...and probably the half of white population are to young to be responsible at all for apartheid...but they are discriminated...that isn't fair...

  • @doczg88 i've basically given up on mainstream politicians they couldn't give two shits about people

all they care about is just doing illegal and horrible things to make money and getting away with it because they're rich and powerful

  • @BOLSHEVIXTREME true...this is the same all over the world...lack of moral virtue...and democracy doesn't work without that...but I would advice you to think very carefully about your position...communism doesn't work either...it only brings poverty and violence...I live in former communist country and I wish Patton liberated us in 45' not the reds...I'm sorry you have this radical and proven wrong thinking...for you and your community because it will bring you no good...

  • @doczg88 actually, theres never been an actual communist country

socialist countries yes but not communist

  • @BOLSHEVIXTREME Even if we were all the same color humans would find a way to discriminate. Look at India's caste system for example. Two people may be the same color, age, religion and born in the same town yet one is deemed untouchable. Could you imagine being branded untouchable?

  • @VileOgre i know the entire human race is very corrupt

the thing is there are so many easy simple ways to help maek the world a better place but us humans are too bigoted, selfish, greedy and corrupt to pout these fantastic ideas into practice

  • and im not talking about communism and scialism

  • @BOLSHEVIXTREME

You sir, are a dumbfounded idiot. Go to South Africa and listen to black people saying they wish it was sitll apartheid because atleast then they had housing and could feed their families and still be save. If you did not live in SA or you are not from then there then STFU you don't know shit.

  • @Jenzmeiring lol sure they do

  • @Jenzmeiring omg this is the most ridiculous thing i have heard in my entire life.. am south african and no one says they wish there was apartheid u actually need to find out what that means to an african(being made slaves)

  • Just downloaded the full movie here:

    btjunkie.org/torrent/The-Power-of-One-1992-Stephen-Dorff-Rod/4495d2e9da966fef49596e7f64c17864125a78031eba

  • thank you for uploading this...i have been looking for this movie for such a long time!

  • whats up with the sound

  • May never return the racism to this land.

  • We had to read the book when I was in high school. One of the kids in my class just watched the movie and wrote the paper based on the movie. Turns out the move (although good in its own right) is NOTHING like the book so the guy failed the class. Great movie though

  • I watched this movie with my class today. we were all crying.

  • im confuse about what the pastor\teacher said. Were white people really force to go to africa in real life long ago?

  • @cherri7

When world war 2 happened, the British, and the Germans were at war. Both of them are technically white people. So, British people were moved into camps in German controlled parts of Africa. Race is just one of the things we humans war about. But we've been killing each other for lesser reasons since the dawn of time. Hopefully, we learn how pointless it is.

  • @stormysmurf thanks for the info=D.

  • wth mothers should breast feed your own kids lol

  • thanks a lot mate!

  • if you have read the book only please let me know what you thought of the movie?

  • Thank you for this film. The only drawback is that the sound is out of sync

  • thank you so much for this!!! i never thought i'd get to see this, one of my favourite movies of all time again...

  • I had to write an essay on this novel, and it was a bitch to write.

  • @davidwalz Hey man, im also writing an essay on this book, could you give me any tips or subjects you covered. It would be really really appriciated.

    Thanks!

  • @DannyGuhl Do it on Hoppie.

  • @davidwalz really?...how theres only like one chapter on him, and wouldnt it be easier to do it on peekay, seeing how the book is based around him?

  • @DannyGuhl Depends on what your essay's about. I say Hoppie because he had the biggest impact on Peekay. If he'd never met him, there would be no story, because he gave Peekay the dream of boxing and the "power of one." If not for him, then no Doc, no Morrie, no beating the shit out of the Judge. Without Hoppie, there's no story. Anyway, that's why you should do Hoppie.

  • its a really good and sad movie

  • DUDE THAT WAS ONE HELL OF A SPIT ON DA FACE!! FUCKING ASSHOLE!

  • the boy is sooooo cute!!!

  • but the mother died too

  • This is the worst rendition of a book I've ever seen...it barely follows the book....If you've never read the book, it might be o.k., but if you have....SKIP THIS NOW!

  • I saw this movie when I was a kid, and I remember what happened to Morgan Freeman's character at the end...pretty fucked up.

  • one of the most powerful movies, i have ever seen

  • This movie has a very powerful message. Everyone at some point should see this movie.

  • i thought this was the pokemon power of one movie... you know, the one where lugia is in it? lol

  • joshua 9;20 does not say that. another lying preacher!

  • great book

  • we watched this in school.... made everone stop and think for a moment

  • that is NOT how he got his name, Peekay.

  • I have a question, Wath did tell the pastor about Joshua 9:20 because it didn´t has nothing with that he said, I think. Forthere I need that someone explain me about. XD

    Tanks ^^

  • yea the book is way beter because they missed skipped about 8 or 10 mof the chapters in the book like when he starts to get interested in boxing and wen he gets tackies or the train ride so yea definetly read the book!

  • @ptphotoshoot

im reading it right now and so far it's amazing im really tempted to watcht his right now but im gonna turn it off ahah

  • that nazi kid is a dick! >:[ (fyi if the book is better then the movie then im gonna buy it! :D)

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! Inspirational film.....Daniel Craig fulfilled his role exceptionally!

  • I just finished reading the book, and it is actually the best book I have EVER read. I loved the end... "streams in the desert." Hopefully the movie is just as good, and thanks for posting it =]

  • Thank you Cheez. I use to rent this for myself but most of all for my children. They are 34 and 32 and they still watch it and play the CD. My daughter just got me the book and I'm reading it now. Seems like an old friend. .Shows the integrity children can have. Another is, "Amazing Grace and Chuck" filmed here in Montana. It's about a 12 year that takes a stand and the world moves. . :)

  • i have read the book and i had the video. this movie is mind blowing xxx

  • Great Movie

  • i love this movie but the sound sucks

  • @PixPoxy

Buy the sound track, some of the best music ever. And a Hans Zimmer music production. The music is just amazing, movie aside.

  • This has been mi favorite movie ever!!!!!!

  • my #1 favorite movie of all time...i remember watching this when i was little...it had such an inpact....cryfest from beginning to end...poor boy lost everyone he ever loved...this movie taught me to be grateful for what i have.

  • i know. you think "oh this is just a movie" and you begin to wonder, there is someone out there that is having problems 10 times worse than you.

  • This in my opinion is one of the greatest movies ever made. It astounds me that it nearly never makes any top 100 films of all time. Great film, truly great.

  • im reading the book at the mo hop the movie doesnt ruin it for me

  • lol

  • thankk youuu

  • Still the best movie ever!

  • Wait wait I heard later in the movie, there's a girl that has something to do with Peekay??? Why is there a girl?! DD:

  • yes theres a girl ,

    i watched it at school

    she ends up dying :(

  • If you people have ever read the book... you'll find that the movie sucks. The movie is sending the wrong message. Movie is more about racism while the book is more about Peekay finding "the power of one".

  • Racism was a large portion of the book as well though, and it is easier to portray than the idea of "the power of one". All movies are weak compared to books. You just can't put that level of detail into a movie!

  • tandie diserves a movie

  • @meganelle111 Not if you're watching Kubrick or Lynch

  • @meganelle111 hi is this a true story?

  • Boers were Dutch

  • Boers were a group of farmers and traders who lived in South Africa and were almost friends with Africans. Against England and for Germany in IIGM.

Awesome! Its a very good movie about automotivation, fight against big problems and be the best in the unique way posible: True and Human Rights

    Boris Vásquez Carbonell

  • who were the Boers that they talk about in the book?

  • This is an amazing film

  • omg omg omg omg

  • this movie always gives me the chills.. i used to be scared of ups trucks becuse of this movie
