he was younger than the next youngest by three years, and the older guy was actually only 12-13ish in the book AKA "the judge"

When world war 2 happened, the British, and the Germans were at war. Both of them are technically white people. So, British people were moved into camps in German controlled parts of Africa. Race is just one of the things we humans war about. But we've been killing each other for lesser reasons since the dawn of time. Hopefully, we learn how pointless it is.

If he'd never met him, there would be no story, because he gave Peekay the dream of boxing and the "power of one." If not for him, then no Doc, no Morrie, no beating the shit out of the Judge. Without Hoppie, there's no story. Anyway, that's why you should do Hoppie.
