  • I had a baby normal from petco so I could save it and it didn't look that bad but after I got and had it for 1-2 months I opened her mouth and it was yellow i took it to a vet spent 450$ just to take her up there and he said he didnt no what it was and she did that head thing and next day I came home from school and she was dead and I cryed

  • Mine just died today of IBD... He was doing the same head movements as yours... I'm sorry for your loss, and i completely understand...

  • you said u barely got it right around the time it showed symptoms?...did u get it from a petshop or a breeder?...did u get it super cheap?

  • That sux man im very sorry

  • :( im very sorry

  • It might not be IBD. It could be a lot of things. Heat destress, poison from a mite treatment, or another less serious illness. Of course there are many other things that cause stargazing. I would take it to a vet that knows about snakes. If it is lost weight and or has mouth rot as well as stargazing then yeah IBD might be the cause. Well I hope this was helpful for some one out there.

  • I just had to put my baby pastel ball python down because he had ibd

  • same thing happened to my snake it kept starring to the roof the it died any advice what happened

  • @spido123 star gazing

  • what you all need is a basking balb heat pad hiding spots water dish and a lid make shure to get the clipons the next snake learn before you get a snake

  • looks to me the snake had no cool zone and warm zone. if they get overheated without being able to cool off, they can die of symptoms very similar to ibd.

  • I just had a baby ball python I was fostering die of this last night. I'd only had her for 3 weeks. She was about that size too.

  • Aww poor baby! Where is the rest of it's enclosure? I understand it died but you can't just leave it in aspen, they need shelter, water, humidity, etc. or else it will die for sure.

  • My rubber boa got this too. I miss her

  • Dude, where is the snakes

    - Hide ?

    - Water source ?

    - temp/humidity guage

    - something big enuf for her to get herself into and soak in water (i can tell just by looking at the tank that the humidity levels are nowhere close to where they should be.

This is why you do research before you buy a pet like this, its not fair to the snake...

anyway, sorry for your loss buddy

  • @rrredzzz He probably moved all of that stuff to get a good shot with the camera. There looks like there's something stuck to the back of the cage in the top right corner, perhaps a liquid crystal thermometer? I can't really tell.

  • things wrong with this video

    -no hide

    -no humidity

-no visible dish thats big enuf for her to get herself fully inside of

    - and most important, u want your heat light to sit on 1 side or the other, so they can have a hot spot, and a colder spot if it becomes to hot,

    Sorry for your loss :S

  • what are the first symtomps of this disease?

  • sorry bout that bruv... =[

  • dang, Im sorry

  • Hi my snake is doing something similar but still not as bad as that ... but hes doing the stargazing & spin ... mine is a spider ball ... so im not really sure if its cuz of the phase or ibd ... how much time does it take to show symtoms to die?

    Im really worried =(

  • hey well spiders are known to do that sort of stuff, its genetic but if ur that worried go to a vet

  • Comment removed

  • @G3ckobain im sure you know by now if its ibd but spiders do tend to wobble like that just google spider wobble and im sure you will find a vid of it

  • how do they get it from boas?

  • aww dude that sucks

  • It is i think.. Fuck I just got it to :/

  • Looks like Inclusion Body Disease?
