  • Dramática e bela interpretação.

  • This sounds more like Vaughan Monroe than Mario Lanza

  • This can't be Mario Lanza!! It's doesnt even sound a bit like Mario.. Its someone else!

  • Probably he didn't intended to sing this way, but as I was listening to it I remembered Bing Crosby too.

  • Fantastico!

  • I love this! I really think it is cute s Perry but I wish someone would put the regular Mario "Tempation" on here. It is awesome!!!

  • Sorry, it was Perry Como he was impersonating, not Frankie Laine - although he did impersonate Frankie Laine in this same scene singing "Jezebel". Hope I didn't make this too confusing!

  • He is trying to impersonate Bing Crosby , who sung this Going Hollywood(sometime in the early30's) the first of 2 musicals he did for MGM

  • myfirstlovesong - You are mistaken. He is not impersonating Bing Crosby. It's Perry Como, who besides Bing, had a huge hit with this song. If you see the movie, you will see it's Perry Como. The movie is "The Seven Hills of Rome."

  • This is not from a record, per se. It's from the movie "The Seven Hills of Rome". This is from the sequence in the film where Lanza was imitating Frankie Laine and, of course, that accounts for the deeper sound of his voice.

  • What year did he do this one.

  • i don't know.
