The truth is that the Taliban, and its al-Qaida guests, were originally imposed on Afghanistan from without as a projection of Pakistani state power. (Along with Pakistan, only Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates ever recognized the Taliban as the legal government in Kabul.)

No, we didnt intentionally create them (not as international terrorists) people make it out as if we handed them weapons, and said "hey, go wild" thats not the case. And we didnt hand them over to Bin Ladina nd his men, that group (Al-Qeada) got their hands on the weaponary from the guerrillas we supplied them to, wheither that be from buying/recruiting the fighters themselves/or killing htem for them.

The CIA didnt create Al Qaeda, we helped suppley aint-communists guerrillas fight the Soviets after the Soviets invaded Afgan, they installed a more Communist friendly president and the West saw that as a huge threat, so they started helping 'freedom fighters' fight back against the soviets. Bin Ladin helped a guy named Abdullah Azzam start Al-Qaeda. They got their hands on some of teh US weaponary (that wasnt given to them directly) I'll continue on another post
