  • Anyone else getting the Mormon adverts before these videos?

  • haha this guy is too good. old man got the comedy spirit instead of the holy ghost.

  • Why the fuck did he end this with zeitgeist?

  • @sooleyiscool Why not end with Zeitgeist? Its correct.

  • This guy is awesome! Thanks for the upload.

  • I like the fact that this is at a All Souls Unitarian Church. A church? I mean what is next, this is like having an overeaters anoinmous meeting at "Golden Coral" or an AA meeting at at bar. I mean could this group not afford to rent a community building or a college campus? That is just wild to me. Maybe next the Muslim community will open a a mosque for your next meeting, just ask them, see what they say...........lol

  • @ockersteve Had you done a bit of homework, you'd realize that many atheists attend Unitarian services for the community and interaction, and because most Unitarian churches promote principles for living instead of dogma and doctrine. In Unitarian churches, the atheist is welcome, as are people from all walks of life. Whether or not you agree with the idea, this organization welcomed more than 300 atheist attendees and accommodated the event with courtesy and goodwill. My thanks to them.

  • @TheThinkingAtheist Dear Thinking Athiest, I had no idea about the Unitarian Church, and what it means. It was actually interesting reading on it. It just seemed funny to me seeing an Athiest Group at a Church, but when i read about unitarians, it made sense. No, I am not Athiest, but I do respect peoples beliefs. Thank you for informing me about the Unitarian Church.

  • "[the free thought convention] is at a [sic] All Souls Unitarian Church. This is like having an overeaters anoinmous [sic] meeting at "Golden Coral [sic]" or an AA meeting at at bar." - ockersteve

Your analogies of atheists in a church to overeaters and alcoholics recovery members at a Golden Corral and bar respectively are tragically flawed as we are not a group of people dependent upon religion. We would be the group that simply promotes responsible eating drinking in such an analogy.

  • In essence, a church is nothing more than any other structure - composed of a skeleton, bricks, wood, and mortar resting upon a foundation. Whatever we decide to call this building is completely arbitrary and irrelevant to the activities enjoyed on the inside (such as we observed with FreeOK). When Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet in 2006, neither the mass, composition, orbit, satellites, rotation, et al., changed as a result.

  • In fact, being in a Unitarian church doesn't make one a Unitarian anymore than being in a garage makes one a car. I can understand completely the desire to steer away from any church, but let's try to keep an open mind and recognize that it's probably the church sermon you're really weirded out about and not necessarily the secular activities going on before/after hours and there's a glaring difference between the two. This was a completely secular event inside a building called a church.

  • In the words of Shakespeare, "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

Those words ring true today. If your only grievance with the location is the name it is given, then you are working from flawed logic, my friend. That is to suggest you would refuse to eat a delicious and potable meal because someone called it "crap" when you would ingest ethylene glycol if it was called "spaghetti".

  • The essence of what an object is exists independent of a mind to perceive and consequently name it and all you're effectively disputing is the name of the building, not the building itself.

"could this group not afford to rent a community building or a college campus?" - ockersteve

We almost had a college auditorium secured, but when it fell through our options were sorely limited. Have you ever tried securing a large venue for an atheist group?

  • "Maybe next the Muslim community will open a a [sic] mosque for your next meeting, just ask them, see what they say" - ockersteve

If invited, we would. Alas, Muslims aren't generally as accepting as Unitarians and - if you did your homework as Seth suggested - you would realize that many Unitarians are very atheist friendly.

For the record, next year's FreeOK will be held at a convention center. You're more than welcome to come hang out.

  • @willpoire Thank you for the invite. I am not Athiest, but most people that know me are suprised that I have in the past stuck up for them. You see I had a great uncle that him and his wife were devout Athiest, and supported Athiest groups, but they always respected me, and the rest of the family that was Christian. It was not a big deal, there was respect, it was family, and that is how it should be.

  • I would love to go to the Freethought convention

  • I got a bible ad while watching this.

    Wow, really?

  • seeking the truth and a host of other things and would recommend others looking into it as well.

  • this series is fantastic well coming from TheThinkingAtheist would not expect it not to be,i however have a confession in truth i am a "fence sitter"in other words agnostic and not proud to admit that, though we can dismiss the bible and other holy books, and probably due to lack of intelligence of knowing all i am not able to dismiss that there isn't a "God or higher intelligence"which is a reason i started to study philosophy. Philosophy is not all about religion in fact a lot has to do with

  • how's this for free-thought? /watch?v=2zi8rewamVI

  • Anyone know where I can find that list from the General?

  • mike11m=superstitious pussy

  • Haha, Morgan could be Carlins uncle or something

I love his comedy take on reli-nonsense

  • @miket1m You make him sound so appealing. The divine peeper.

  • @TheThinkingAtheist - I was thinking Big Brother

  • @TheThinkingAtheist XD! That's so true!

  • @TheThinkingAtheist If I could I would like that comment :)

  • Comment removed

  • @miket1m why would anyone want that?

  • @theUKatheist

Lol, What kind of question is that? You don't have a choice. God is there and He sees all that you do and think, good and evil. The crazy thing is, God loves you even at your worse. He is there for you. If you seek Him, you will find Him. This is the great promise

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. ~ Matthew 7:7-8

  • @miket1m "You don't have a choice."

true, because no one is watching us.

" God loves you even at your worse."

so why does he send people to hell for the simple act of not believing, why does he send babies to hell for nbot being christened, why does he torture many nice innocent people for eternity for nothing other than a disbelief? that is NOT love, you cant force love, your god is a cunt!

"Ask and it will be given to you;"

even you know this is total crap.

    please stop with the bullshit.

  • @theUKatheist Babies don't go to hell whether they are christened or not. Baby baptism is not Biblical. Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Peter is telling the Jews what they need to do in order to be saved. "Repent" How can a baby repent?

You stop with the bullshit moron.

  • @miket1m

why dont you just think about what your saying instead of instantly thinking of excuses. how can a dying /dead baby repent and be baptised? BABIES CANT REPENT! that verse is refering to any adults that have not been baptised yet!.

""Repent" How can a baby repent?"

EXACTLY MY POINT. according to your god ,they go to hell!

also what about the BILLIONS of good , hard working non believers or believers of another religion?

they go to hell too? your god is a cunt!

    you believe this shit?

  • @theUKatheist Exactly, babies can't repent so there is no such thing as baby baptism. The Bible also states that no man is responsible for his fathers sin. So there is no such thing as original sin or baby baptism. So God doesn't send babies to hell when they die unbaptized. The are angels and they have no sin.

Your comment about God has ended any further debates between you and I savage.

  • @miket1m " The Bible also states that no man is responsible for his fathers sin"

well that is a lie. how can someone else take away a sin. if i commit a crime and someone else goes to jail for me that is not taking away the immoral act from me is it? the whole concept is idiotic.

"So God doesn't send babies to hell when they die unbaptized"

you do not know this, he did not tell you.

"Your comment about God has ended any further debates between you and I savage."

    dont like the truth? coward.

  • @theUKatheist Well thats a lie? Do you read what is posted and think about or do you just make up your own meaning as to what is said in the post? Whats wrong with you? If you commit a crime, you child is not responsible for that crime. Thats all I said.

God did tell me and everyone through the Bible moron.

You don't even understand what you are talking about, thats what I believe. You make atheist look bad.

  • @theUKatheist You make atheist look bad and I would say thats pretty hard to do.

  • @miket1m "You don't even understand what you are talking about, thats what I believe. You make atheist look bad."

loo, its you who doesnt understand anything here. you dont even know what you said or i said , your comment makes little sense.

"If you commit a crime, you child is not responsible for that crime. "

thats my point! ffs are you retarded or something. this is what God has done with us. ADAM committed the sin yet WE are responsible. why dont you understand the comparison dumbass!

  • @miket1m continued - "The Bible also states that no man is responsible for his fathers sin"

so why are we responsible for the sin of Adam !!?!??!!??

you are going around in circles, its like you have a mental issue or something.

    also ""Well thats a lie?"

well can you prive anything you have said? can you prove to me that hell exists, or that babies dont go there or that heaven exists anything? the answer is no. you are being dishonest, if you or no one else can prove it, why say it!?!?!

  • @theUKatheist

Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men. ~ Romans 5:18 Just as we were all condemned by act of Adam, we are all saved by the act of Jesus dying on the cross.

Can you prove that don't exist? That God doesn't exist? No so shut the hell up.

  • @miket1m "Can you prove that don't exist? That God doesn't exist? No so shut the hell up." that just proves you are a fucking retard right there. YOU CANT DISPROVE THE EXISTENCE OF ANYTHING!!! its a logical fallacy you ass hole. every bit of proof given can be rationalized.

    example

prove to me that an invisible alien named Steve doesnt live on Jupiter. you cant disprove it!

the burden of proof is on the person/people CLAIMING THE EXISTENCE!

so now ass hole, you have to prove God DOES exist!

  • @miket1m continued

instead of being such a dick and then trying to shift the burden of proof to me,you should now prove god exists, like i said disproving existence is nonsensical, trying to put that on me shows your pussy way out and shows you know absolutely nothing on the subject!

Also dont quote bible verses it makes you look like a moron. i could easily quote verses that you can not explain and makes the bible look like a vile piece od shit.

you OBVIOUSLY haven't watched all these videos!

  • 1.

    @theUKatheist

How am I being a dick? I'm simply asking you to validate your position. Atheism is an intellectual decision. I would like to know why you have decided not to believe in God. You guys whine, "we don't see any proof" Not good enough. Because you don't see any proof doesn't mean God does not exist. In order for you to say there is no God, you would have to have complete and absolute knowledge of the entire universe? Look svage, you want proof ok.

  • 2.

    @theUKatheist

Ok savage, here is proof. I need to ask you a question. Do you think you could just answer the question without saying something like, "This doesn't have anything to do with..." or something similarly stupid?

If you don't answer the question I am just going to assume you don't know the answer, ok? Give it the ole savage try!

  • 3.

    @theUKatheist

Are there such things as logical absolutes? For example... 'A' cannot be both 'A' and not 'A' at the same, time.

  • @miket1m no i mentioned that earlier.

there is no such thing as absolutes. that is why its impossible to disprove anything existing, hence why the burden of proof is on the person claiming the existence.

i say im not absolutely positive a god does not exist, BUT the evidence and logic behind it is non existent therefore there is absolutely no reason to believe a god exists. so to me its around 99.99% chance that a god is not real.

instead of throwing insults , ask questions. LEARN SOMETHING!

  • @theUKatheist

To say there are no absolutes is an absolute statement. It s either true or false. If its true, then its false...which is logically contradiction which proves my premise to begin with. So, it can only be false and there are such things as logical absolutes.

  • @miket1m no, as far as we know there are no absolutes, the answer its self is not absolute because we do not know! we do not have the knowledge yet to say if there are absolutes or not. i say there are no absolutes because of this very reason.

    okay answer this

is god so powerful he can create a rock even he couldn't lift?

    answers.

no - he is not all powerful if he cant create that rock.

yes - he is not all powerful if he cant lift that rock.

    therefore a god cannot exist.

  • @theUKatheist

Once you are introduced to an idea, you can't stay neutral about it. You invariably make a judgment about an idea once it has been introduced to you. You can brush it off as ridiculous, ponder its possibility, accept it, reject it, or do something in between. But you can't return to a lack of belief position, if lack of belief is defined as a non-intellectual commitment or non-action concerning belief.

  • @miket1m

you quoted "lack of belief" not me.

i was introduced to the idea of god at a young age, i believed it, later on i read the bible investigated the source of the bible, looked into other religion, used my logic and intelligence to determine that a god was not likely, therefore i REJECTED IT. i have had religious people constantly throwing their "proof and evidence" at me, i research this evidence and it turns out to be false or illogical, so i still REJECT the idea of a gods existence.

  • @miket1m "Ok savage,"

call me savage again and you will be blocked, you have been warned. ask the question, i will answer it however i see fit. you cannot put boundries on how i want to answer a question. if you are not willing to listen to the answer then why ask it?

  • @theUKatheist I'm blocking you savage!

  • @miket1m "Atheism is an intellectual decision"

no it is not! you can be the dumbest person on the planet and still reject the claim of a god! you are talking nonsense , again!

"You guys whine, "we don't see any proof" Not good enough" so not having any proof is not good enough to disbelieve it? are you being f*cking serious?

"In order for you to say there is no God"

WE DONT, absolute certainty is illogical! we say there is no reason to believe, also disbelief IS NOT A CHOICE!

  • @theUKatheist Sure you do idiot. You say there is no such thing as God. I believe there is no God. What the hell is the difference you imbecile? I'm getting very aggravated with you. You have to be a young kid because your statements are child like

  • @miket1m

no they are not, you are infuriating, you have no clue about burden of proof, you spew out logical fallacies, you never bother RESEARCHING before you spew out total nonsense and insults.

"What the hell is the difference you imbecile?

you STILL dont even understand burden of proof when i have explained it and you have the fucking internet to check it out. why be so ignorant? why not just look it up? do you even try to understand anything?

LOOK UP "the burden of proof" FUCKTARD!

  • @theUKatheist Know what? One of these days, you're going to get cocky with someone and they're going to beat you into the middle of next week. Sorry, I won't have a chance top see that. There is nothing I would like more to see than an idiot like yourself get beat into a bloody pulp. Fuck off ass clown

  • @miket1m ooo another brilliant come back. look moron, i dont get cocky with people, you got cocky first and just because you have the IQ of a rat and fail to make any good argument with anything you say you give out threats, you are a fucking idiot!

"There is nothing I would like more to see than an idiot like yourself get beat into a bloody pulp"

very Christian of you , haha. what a loser!

PS you wish violence on a stranger because of your own incapability to debate, YOU'RE A FUCKING MORON!

  • @theUKatheist Again idiot, I never said I was a Christian did I?

  • @miket1m

So what other relitrailer do you belong to them? The mecca-tribe?

To me it's all bullshit but just because you don't happen to be a christtard doesn't mean your beliefs are any less stupid

  • @sonykroket To me your opinion is bullshit. Who do you think you are? You're the fucking idiot walking around saying there is no God. You whole idiotic position is based on nothing but simple abstract possibility and is 100% intellectually indefensible. So you are the fucktard here along with your fucktard idiotic comrades. Atheist? You give atheist a bad name moron. Get some original material will you please

  • @miket1m

You fail at your first ass-umption. We don't say there is no god, we just don;t believe in any because of a lack of evidence.

    You fuckin uninformed reli-dipshit

  • @miket1m Your comment is...HILARIOUS! Thankyou.

  • @miket1m Would you mind giving a brief explanation to how that telepathic mind reading trick works?

  • Around 17:48, you can hear someone playing Words With Friends.

  • re: biblical contradictions: The Skeptic's Annotated Bible catalogues them very nicely.

  • "i was ambushed by nova. sonofabitch!!!" lol....

  • Thanks for upload!!! Great stuff :)

  • This guy is great! But yeh, shame about the Zeitshite. I can't believe that shit either!

  • Zeitgeist is my ALL TIME favorite documentary! Glad to see it here.

  • He has the personality of a great preacher. I'm glad he wised up, and isn't one, but like all the speakers I wish he spent more time with the why instead on the what.

  • Wait? the end was from Zeitgeist?? I loved the entire speech but inserting a part from Zeitgeist was silly

  • @TikiTubeAble wow you are some dumb twat.

  • lol this guy is awesome

  • My best friend. Is christian. I'd give my life for him. He's a good person. He was real. My other friend, our little trio, the third person, wasn't real. When I became atheist, he was gone. He was so immediate, in leaving. He didn't care about me. I realized that. And when I did, I was like, "F*** you. I spent fun times with you, and one little change, changes it all. How can you live with yourself."

  • i wish i could adopt this man as my grandpa ; )

  • I'm an Atheist and at first i thought that last video about Horus and Jesus was awesome, and watched the whole thing thinking it was even better. But then my gf who's into egyption mythology told me to fact-check it. It is Saturated with flagrant misrepresentations and outright lies. It is essentially muslim propaganda against christians, as you will see in the description. Also all comments have to be approved for it. Typical.

  • @Roenazarrek I've actually looked into this myself even before this video. While there are obvious similarities between Jesus and other mythological figures the Horus comparison is inflated to say the least. That being said I loved Dr. Morgans speech.

  • @Roenazarrek actually those parallels are true. not directly about horus in one text but in many different texts and mergers between the egyptian deities. for instance youll find that horus and ra merged to be known and re horakhty (horus of the two horizons) nd the trinity of horus. sun at rising position, ra - sun at midday and Osiris sun at settingg (dying) position.

    i'll give you more later

  • @TikiTubeable See, you go it all wrong. It's not a worship of science, but a RESPECT for science. So, what, you're going to just erase what you learned in the third grade about the Scientific Method because "it has a cult attached to it"?

You only want a new title because the religious want to burn athesists at the stake or "fix" them.

The problem is they can't see past what they were raised or blinded with.

Sad when we can't be open-minded and check why we believe what we do...

  • lol what is atheism a fucking cult now?

Think I need to go find a new name for my lack of belief then, fucking organized atheism....what a joke you idiots make us ALL look like. please stop.

  • @TikiTubeable Anyone can gather and talk about a subject, doesn't mean are a cult. You use cult in a very loose way, it doesn't just mean a group of people; cults usual have a leader, or a fringe group. Atheism does not revolve around one person and it does not branch off another group of Athiesm. I am glad to see Atheists, talking in the open, and challenging beliefs with no fear.

  • @lovesXtoXspoog So it's a cult, right got it.

What a shame, and no atheism may not revolve around one person (right now) but it does tend to revolve around one chain of thought, and a general worship of science.

I need to go find a new name for myself, atheist is a shameful title to hold right now. Fucking cult nut jobs. I knew this would fucking happen.

  • @TikiTubeable Atheism is not a chain of thoughts! Atheism is not a political or a moral set of beliefs, it's a disbelief in god. And which every title floats your boat, friend.

  • @lovesXtoXspoog

Atheism isn't a 'set of beliefs'.

If that is how you define it, then it fits perfectly into the description of a religion. Like Buddhist, which doesn't worship a God of any sort also.

    LOL. Cult.

Think I'll go with "person that simply doesn't follow any religion" from now on haha.

  • @TikiTubeable Thank you. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't know that not having a religion is actually having a religion.

  • @lovesXtoXspoog Yea like being bald is a haristyle

  • listen to this i think back to youth conferences i had gone to in my church, i remember the speakers were funny connective and to a degree knowledgeable. but even then it was hollow and sugar coated dren and they were to scared to say things outright(if you dont want kids to do stupid things SAY SO dang dont beat around the bush)

I really liked his talk non-offensive (or it seemed so 2 me), intelligent funny informative supportive and accepting. most importantly more facts than personal stories

  • Theres an add for a christian dating website next to this video

  • My sentiments, exactly!

  • when i was a child ,i thought the soul ,was like a big liver ,with a black mark on it :(

  • Thanks for spreading the Logic!

  • @macgeek2004 (2/2)

However, ONLY watch that 1st section of the 1st film -- the one pertaining to ancient religion -- as the ENTIRE rest of the original film and the entireties of its two sequels are nothing but 9/11 "Truther" nonsense, right-wing, Libertarian conspiracy theories about the Fed, and then some other insane, futuristic nonsense that I couldn't possibly classify, so you can (and should) safely ignore and stay clear of the other two sections and the other two films.

  • Also, guys, that last video he showed was a clip from the first part (out of 3) of the original "Zeitgeist" documentary (again, out of 3 total). I HIGHLY recommend that you watch it (it's only 15 mins or so long) because it's even _more_ mind-blowing than the short clip he showed!

  • @eat666shit

    ...same way ever again!

It's absolutely FASCINATING, and WELL WORTH the watch and ur time! Every second of it. It's honestly the first time I've ever been put on the "edge of my seat" by a historical documentary! Remember: this is PBS NOVA, not just the fuckin' History Channel, so your getting a "better than even the BBC" quality level doc here. ;~D

  • @eat666shit

...archaeology, but they only treat the Bible just as yet another "holy" book...they don't see it as FACT, but rather they use it in a similar manner as to how a Greek archaeologist would use Homer's "Iliad" to help him uncover the true history of the Trojan War. I must say, tho, that seeing it done to OUR dominant religion is rather different than seeing it done to another, DEAD religion. VERY eye-opening to say the least! I can honestly never look at (ancient) religion in the sam

  • @eat666shit

Lol, the Jews and Muslims clearly AREN'T right, dude, so you even mention 'em? ;~)

Now, to everybody else: if you haven't watched "The Bible's Buried Secrets" (the 2-hour long PBS NOVA program the Doc was talking about), omg, stop watching this and go watch that FIRST. You can even find it here on YouTube! But basically, it's a bunch of Jewish and Christian (and now probably agnostic, lol) archaeologists analyzing the history of the old testament, both using the Bible AND archaeol

  • What a great speaker. Highly illuminating and entertaining.

  • this was awesome, i saw the run time and that i'd never heard of the guy and didn't think i'd make it through it. very very good stuff. what a cool dude.

  • The loneliness of the long distance runner *g*

  • I'm convinced they were smoking some good shit!

  • what comedian is that in the video, he is brilliant.

  • Verifiable evidence, all that the poor christians need is some verifiable evidence.

  • @lautaa33

Have fun rotting in the ground, dumbass! Seriously, have you ever opened up a book OTHER than the bible??? You should try it...lol!

  • @perfectshot77 Sorry, my imagination isn't THAT good. An eternity of anything would indubitably become boring.

  • @TheThinkingAtheist This is the very first clip from the convention ?

  • I really liked this guy's talk.

  • I want a source for those claims made by the final video. The Horus and Jesus connection. The video they linked to had a source link in the description, but it didn’t work. I’ll continue to read up on Horus to see what I can find.

  • @DallasMavericksGuy im on it homie

  • @pistolpete667 I feel like I’m slowly getting smarter.

  • @DallasMavericksGuy If pistolpete gives you the same information as me, 10 minutes of searching the web will plenty debunk the virgin birth bit

  • @whodareswhb yeah

  • The mountain looks like a volcano. Good not to be atop it.

  • Shit, I don't hate God cause I can't fucking hate something that doesn't even exist; as a matter fact, I don't even hate those people who invented God, but do you know what I hate though? I hate in the way those people are manipulating others and I hate in the way they want to keep on going with mind games on others and I hate also the way they want to keep playing with other ignorant people's minds. Yes I hate that a lot!!!

  • Thanks god, I'm an Atheist...

  • @WICKEDMAN9MM halleluiah

  • @xyoop Ramen!!!

  • Glad you explained the 5 gallon can.

I thought it had to be robot fuel for your speakers.

  • i love how towards the end he turns hardcore language and all

  • I cannot watch this guy. He makes me stomach churn. Second try 17:23.

  • I wish I had been able to go to this, but I live in OKC and didn't want to make the long drive to and from Tulsa. I'm so glad that the lectures were recorded.

  • Dr Morgan is a great orator. I am ignorant when it comes to the ins and outs of American religions. But after a quick Wiki search on Oral Roberts and ORU I was able to understand why he is such an important speaker for a non believing Oklahoman to hear speak (no offence if I got Oky peoples 'group name' wrong)

Thanks for the sharp presentations TTA!

  • @17:53 someone was playing Words With Friends.

  • @perfectshot77 Well you could always chose to believe in god despite not having a reason to. But then again without any evidence to make you believe, you would have to willingly lie to yourself until "god revealed himself to you", but then again, lieing is a sin so I guess you're damned if you do and damned if you don't :/

  • @berner well they have a reason, it's described in the books if you cared to read them, the problem is lacking strong evidence, but that's what faith is about. So no they are not lying to themselves, show some basic understanding of the debate, and try to resist mocking religion, you might end up with reasonable conclusions that are more likely to get through to them as opposed to confusion them and yourself.

  • @architect333 How about not putting words in my mouth because I'm making an observation? That might be a good start, if you cared to.

  • @berner then I wonder why you didn't find it useful I cared to correct your perceived and flawed public 'observation'. It's ok if you haven't read the books, no need to take offense for your lack of knowledge resulting from that choice. instead you should appreciate my advice and you won't end up making such incorrect 'observations' again.

  • @architect333 Well as long as you don't have any children, we'll both be okay. You're right, I haven't read the books, I had them read to me in public school while I was growing up. I'm sorry you found my comment to be threatening, I'll make sure from now not to think of or talk about religion because as long as it keeps getting represented by people like you who spit subtle venom at me for not agreeing with it, I have reason not to go looking for god and only helps me to appreciate rationality.

  • @berner I told you no need to be offended, I didn't spit anything at you besides the obvious, correcting you and offering some advice, quit acting like a religious nut. "well as long as i don't have children" lol your acting irrationally, immaturely or have serious self esteem issues. no need to be sorry about anything, again your perception is incorrect thinking i was threatened by your comment. It's the other way around, nothing wrong with disagreeing, it's called public discourse. cheer up.

  • @architect333 Nah actually you're being passive aggressive. You made an assumption that because my point of view isn't in agreeance with religion that I don't know anything about religion, as if somehow by reading any religious text I would be a believer and you chose to attack it by being arrogant, and in most cases people don't attack something unless they feel threatened by it. Anyways, I've got better things to do with my time. You can have the last word if you want, go nuts.

  • @berner I made it clear for you to show the basic understanding of faith compared to lying. this we are not in disagreement, your simply wrong for your newly passive 'observation' as opposed to aggressive opinion. and I gave reason for why this is, which is your focus on mocking religion not necessarily your lack of knowledge. Your response was clearing aggressive and nothing to do with the topic. nice to see your being passive about it now, that's compromising in dialogue, no need for excuses.

  • @podffff check the arguments for creation, dr.craig outlines them in his book, all I've seen are presumptions as to why creation is unlikely. of course that's all we can do, giving our ignorance of the cosmos and how it is directly tied to the existence of life or consciousness to understand it. It takes our brightest minds to poke at this complexity, this suggest some evidence of possible intelligence, we can be arrogant with new interpretations for this but that would be a religious endeavor.

  • @architect333 that was stupid of me. I thought you were talking about the bible. sorry.

  • @architect333 i don't like the reasonning of Craig, it's like saying "yeah god surely did it over the years" because he doesn't know. I think the need to slip god into everything like he does is dangerous in the way that he forces the things he believes in the natural courses of action. Only people who are insecure about their religion would do that, and he's doing a disservice to people who want to understand of evolution. The fact that he's only peer reviewed in theology says it all.

  • Good video. Keep up the good work TTA.

  • didn't show up in my sub box... x(

  • @perfectshot77 You didn't exist before you were conceived. Hmm, no mention of that. If you die and there's something more, life isn't as valuable because, like you said, there's something MORE and please explain the concept of the afterlife. What comes after life? It can't be life and you can't be living because you've just passed it. My life being finite is what make my life priceless because I know I have it and will lose it as far as I know, have one of them.

  • @perfectshot77 The existence of hell, would be much worse than just ending. When you really think about it, isn't even an eternity in heaven, WORSE than just coming to an end?

  • @perfectshot77

Didn't matter? Didn't matter?! You affected countless others- some for the worse, hopefully many more for the better. Children, friends, etc... You touch so many lives both directly and indirectly- that's hardly not mattering! That's not a waste of time. The helping of others IS a worthy pursuit, and is far, far, far from sad or a waste.

  • Bravo!

  • Showing that clip of Zeitgeist was a really bad ending... There's been quite a few people that researched the Horus/Jesus link claimed and found it to be false.

  • @whodareswhb would you like me to send you some info that could help?

  • @pistolpete667 That could help what?

  • @whodareswhb you say the horus/jesus connection is false. i happen to know otherwise. would you like to see the texts that prove it as fact?

  • @pistolpete667 Sure, send me the link and I'll have a read

  • "He's a little bit fucked up... But he's not crazy." LOL
