I was 15 yrs old and sat up every Saturday night watching headbangers ball to see this video, Slayers seasons in the abyss and any Pantera video. It was the best years IMO for metal and no metal bands after will ever compare. Metal was a way of life in the late 80's and early 90's but music isn't the same anymore. Back then, every other garage had a band jamming out Seek and Destroy. Glad I was there for those days and I'd hate to be a teen now.

I'll never forget the early days of headbangers ball when this vid played. this shit completely ruled my early teens. I felt so let down and disappointed when Max left the band. They finally released a cd(Roots) that defined their sound and then it was over. I tried listening to the sepultura with that shitty vocalist but it just isnt the same.

This was the first band that got me into so called ''Thrash metal'' with the Arise album 20 year ago they seemed to stand out from other thrash bands in much the same way cypress hill stands out from other hip hop bands. its the cream of the crop.

Arise is my favorite Sep album ever, but don't rule out any of the Cavalera era albums, they ALL kick ass in their own way. Beneath the Remains was awesome (INNER SELF is certainly worth a lot of spins!), Schizophrenia gave us TROOPS OF DOOM (my fave Sep song ever) and Arise was simply amazing start to finish!
