@xzibit123a First off, this video is extremely old and these days anyone can do it without a druid present so ignore the first half. BUT, the more kills you get on him DOES NOT increase your personal chance of getting the mount. Theoretically if you do it 100 times, you should see it at least once. People have had all kinds of luck (or not) getting this. Some have gotten it on their first try, 10th, 40th (quite common), and the rare unlucky few have tried 200 times and haven't seen it once.
Got mine today , was my 12th run , started doing em as a hunter abit after patch , guess im lucky ,and the mount is so beautiful , goodluck to everyone who is farming it :)
@uniqesanta That really sucks and the only thing I can say is don't stop going at it. I set this up (with my friend's alt) so where I COULD endure dozens to hundreds of runs if needed and was definitely prepared to go that far to get it. Keep trying- it can drop any day I kept telling myself and you can only imagine my excitement at that moment when I got really really lucky.
@Zalagar619 In my case the druid didn't want the mount and was just happy with the epic flight that I bought for his alt here, but I don't see why a group of close friends couldn't ALL get the mount. My brother recently did sort of exactly what you're thinking of- he hooked up with a druid and they farmed it together until they BOTH had it. Their luck was "average" and it took a little over 90 days for them to both get it but it's really all about the consistency and sticking to it each day.
great clip. have any of you guys checked out the wow cheats pack at warcraftbotsXinfo (replace X with .) ? its amazing, i just downloaded the pack. it's got completely everything inside it, gold guides, bots, hacks, glitches as well as the new arena glitch. i probably shouldn't tell folks about it but at the very least it gives you all a fair chance to get it before i pwn you all!

@JimmyOneWalker LOL. I was only BM for this boss so that the pet would be a decent tank. Typically I'm Survival or Marks, and run with just a regular Northrend wolf for the AP buff. Look to the "Algalon the Observer" video response I made for this to see how that works out in damage.
@JimmyOneWalker I never really was BM until a short time during 74-77, and for some messed-up PVP fun on the side- I leveled and played as Marks for the most part so I guess you could say I was more into the bow rather than the pet thing haha. My gear gets better, but my pet will always be... generic at best lol. Survival does so much damage my pet typically dies not too long after a raid boss pull but I still do well.
@MrAllykiller If you would of READ the description you'd know that the druid was a very good friend's ALT character. He didn't care about the mount whatsoever and just wanted epic flying on his druid, which I bought. In exchange I could hop on his account, do all the rep farming & the quest line for Anzu. He ran with me 8 times, for the rest I had real life friends hop on. This was a set up so where I could definitely acquire the mount fairly and eliminate all factors except drop rate. Get it?
It took me a year... A F**KING YEAR... 365 DAYS of straight farming to get this stupid f**king mount. Granted, it's the coolest ground mount in the game, but still... A YEAR!!!!
@TrunJun420 Grats to you for not giving up! And I agree, after I got the Raven Lord all other ground mounts look stale. Even if Anzu is just a Raptor with feathers.

@Acepilot235 I'm not too sure about "how" quickly in a PVP set as PVE gear is always recommended for this sort of thing. It could be done but you'd have to heal yourself quite a bit probably.

He allowed me to sign in his account, do the quest to summon Anzu, and then we started farming it. I think he was there about 10 times, but left it up to me after that. I had my brother sign in the rest. Unless you're lucky, you HAVE to set it up like this or similar to what I did. A friend to help you out, unless you're a feral druid- is a MUST.

@MelissaTheGnome Yeah, we're both lucky. I wasn't expecting to see it for at least 70 runs after some of the horror-bad luck stories I heard! Also for some funny reason I think that the mount scales up and is bigger when a gnome is riding on it!

@SMcQuadeDrums Yes, I did it everyday. Unless you're a feral druid decked out in decent tank gear you're not going to be able to solo it from what I know, and you can't summon it anyway! The resto was a friend's alt character, all I had to do was buy him epic flying and he stuck with me until the end. When he was away I had my brother sign on his account to continue on. Only 16 days though, very lucky.
@Cyraside my gear is good enough that i can kill most those mobs before they even get to me lol, thats the fun thing about being a boomkin, but on the boss and sometimes in big rooms i get killed fast, so i been getting a DK friend or a Pally friend come with me and i just heal them, i have not done it in a while though i been busy getting even more gearz
gief i got the fiery warhose from attumen though i got it in BC got really lucky me and a shammy rolled 48 both so we rerolled and i won:P in my oppinion the fiery warhose is even harde to get since you can only do it once per day and the drop rate is even lower then 1% like 0.7% 0.5%

go to curse, manually download whatever addon in the WoW -> Interface -> AddOn folder, extract it into that same folder and then when you boot up the game it should be up

Day 5/5, no mount yet. It takes about 10 minutes to do, so I don't mind the grind. I'm tempted to summon him on my Druid, , relog Paladin and have it on my Main, but it's a lot of hassle.
It will drop one day... I know a guy who got it on Day 1, and another on 15 and another after 4 months.. it will drop. Keep going, guys!
146 days? you probably got karma'd for ninjaing something i got the raven lord on both of my characters by the help of a druid friend we got the first one on 6th run then my alt's at 10th run.
Yeah I'm at 58 runs now and no drop. I solo it which isnt too fun. Stealth in to last boss kill him to open door incase I die its easier, Then Mob pulls...Prophets are a bitch! I root something and pull into last room mob by mob. And no luck. Im also at 32 Zul grub runs and no tiger mount. Im getting pissed
once you have paid 4-5k for epic flying go to moonglade and talk to the druid trainer who will give you the epic flight form quest and follow that quest chain. Feral druids cn solo this easy, i think boomkins will have a harder time though.. im farming it for my feral druid now. 60 runs and no luck so far..
143 tries for me and still counting. Every time he drops same crap blues.
Went to Stratholme to farm large brilliant shards to sell an enchant and got a horsie on first kill. Did not even wanna kill Baron lol just did it for shards from blues
im assuming you think the quest is one time only :) You would be wrong there.. the quest the druids get to kill Anzu gives you an item needed to summon him.. like a key. Once you kill Anzu for the first time and hand in the quest you lose the key item but you can then talk to the quest giver normally and he has an option to give you a replacement key which is permanent.. i.e : unlimited summons.
WoW... when my druid gets the quests done im totally masterlooting because without the druid no mount... i will be like hey im paying u to run me so i get any drops in here
I started this farm with 7 badges of justice. I now have about 140 of them and I don't even kill other bosses anymore for quite some time... So yeah, random drop is random and I'll keep trying until it drops.

Did that druid Have it already? if not why did u master loot cos if u did i feel thats unfair. but if the druid didnt have it or didnt want it its ok.
This is true farm status of Anzu. The druid was a guildie's alt, that I hopped on and leveled until about 78, I bought it epic flying and did the quest line+ rep grind for Sethekk. The druid was an alt, and the account holder doesn't care about Raven Lord. I had people hop on this at random, sometimes he would, to help heal it once a day. When the mount dropped, it was mine. If you check the party chat he was quite delighted it dropped for me.

U know if you give those birds next to the boss, who are banished, a HoT they will come alive and give you a buff like haste rating.
I'm soloing the raven lord every day since two weeks now, unfortunatly it didn't drop yet. I'm a Feral Druid on Earthen Ring (RP) ( I never role play.)

gratz, I farmed the tiger mount for a month or so but gave up, decided to start farming this as soon as i find a druid as im more likely to get this, plus its way nicer

Note : As of patch 4.0.1 , you dont need a druid to summon him, hes just standing there wating to be attacked

yes wright this to blizz im sure they will listen lets change the intire loot system .... things happen i farmed for just around 7 months for the raptor mount, a friend asks if he can come. i just said sure why not its not like its gonna drop.. ohh would you look at that the guy who came in first time got it ladida ! thats how it works

Day 5/5, no mount yet. It takes about 10 minutes to do, so I don't mind the grind. I'm tempted to summon him on my Druid, , relog Paladin and have it on my Main, but it's a lot of hassle.
It will drop one day... I know a guy who got it on Day 1, and another on 15 and another after 4 months.. it will drop. Keep going, guys!

Yeah I'm at 58 runs now and no drop. I solo it which isnt too fun. Stealth in to last boss kill him to open door incase I die its easier, Then Mob pulls...Prophets are a bitch! I root something and pull into last room mob by mob. And no luck. Im also at 32 Zul grub runs and no tiger mount. Im getting pissed

once you have paid 4-5k for epic flying go to moonglade and talk to the druid trainer who will give you the epic flight form quest and follow that quest chain. Feral druids cn solo this easy, i think boomkins will have a harder time though.. im farming it for my feral druid now. 60 runs and no luck so far..

143 tries for me and still counting. Every time he drops same crap blues.
Went to Stratholme to farm large brilliant shards to sell an enchant and got a horsie on first kill. Did not even wanna kill Baron lol just did it for shards from blues

im assuming you think the quest is one time only :) You would be wrong there.. the quest the druids get to kill Anzu gives you an item needed to summon him.. like a key. Once you kill Anzu for the first time and hand in the quest you lose the key item but you can then talk to the quest giver normally and he has an option to give you a replacement key which is permanent.. i.e : unlimited summons.

I started this farm with 7 badges of justice. I now have about 140 of them and I don't even kill other bosses anymore for quite some time... So yeah, random drop is random and I'll keep trying until it drops.

This is true farm status of Anzu. The druid was a guildie's alt, that I hopped on and leveled until about 78, I bought it epic flying and did the quest line+ rep grind for Sethekk. The druid was an alt, and the account holder doesn't care about Raven Lord. I had people hop on this at random, sometimes he would, to help heal it once a day. When the mount dropped, it was mine. If you check the party chat he was quite delighted it dropped for me.

U know if you give those birds next to the boss, who are banished, a HoT they will come alive and give you a buff like haste rating.
I'm soloing the raven lord every day since two weeks now, unfortunatly it didn't drop yet. I'm a Feral Druid on Earthen Ring (RP) ( I never role play.)
