JUST FOUND THIS ON THE NET Gary Moore died hours after checking into the five-star Kempinski Hotel in Estepona with an unnamed female friend. Suites at the luxury resort can cost up to £3,500 a night.
Moore's companion, who is in her 30s, was described as 'very distraught, in floods of tears' as the tragedy unfolded. GARY MOORE THE BIGGEST TWAT IN MUSIC
FUCKING SHIT THE ONLY LADS WHO CAN PLAY BULES COME FROM THE US GARY MOORE WOULD NOT GET IN A BRASS BAND HE KNOWS FUCK ALL ABOUT MUSIC THATS WHY HE PLAYS THE BULES COS HE IS CRAP
My dream was to see Gary live, but it wasn;t meant to be : (. The man sure did leave an impact though, what a fantastic guitar player who never stops making shake my head in amazement.
@FATBOY69 i agree tho garys not just speed i agree 100% with u i always prefer a bb king or joe bonamassa style garys stuff sometimes gets to agressive at times but yes different guitars can have different effects on ur playing at first i always have to get use to new guitars myself
I was lucky enough to see Gary Moore live in 2007. So pleased I did. Been my guitar idol for donkeys years, He is the last of the truly great guitar heros. He was on a different level.
All would be guitarists should listento what he said, it's not how many notes but how YOU express them!....this is pure gold, we will miss him dearly.
@thugproofclips Do you imply that he was drinking all day. Evwn if it has been true it did not matter as a musician. He was the best drinking or not. Who are we to judge someone without even knowing him...
Yeah, Gary is someone that u can't put to common insults like if u say "he plays fast with no emotion" then show them that thats not all he does, and u can't say he sucks in technique such as fast playing which most does to musicians like BB King cause he too can play fast
@Roman70kg ah, another blues purist, Gary Moores discography, you listen to that and im sure you will find he can play fast and sound bluesy at the same time, Gary even done electronica and techno sounding stuff and you want to tell me what his "thing" was, he was and still is an amazing musician, an all rounder, and didnt just commit himself to one genre because he knew that doing that gets stale as shit, in this vid he shows he can play fast aswell, think before you comment, Long Live Gary
@Roman70kg kl man, whilst it was just a comical comment my 1st one i am referring to, it is clear that Gary can play fast as displayed on the explorer, i too use a Gibson and the fat neck can be a hassle to play fast on ie sweep picking etc, i merely pointed out with that comical comment just how changing your guitar can change your playing style, the comment wasnt supposed to be taken so seriously man
@Roman70kg nah man been playing for 10 years I have seen all kinds of musicians, like Mattias Eklundh, Joe Stump, Satch, Vai, Malmsteen, Gilbert, Moore, Hendrix, Loomis, Broderick, Buckethead, John 5 etc. the list is nearly endless, i dont like people talking shit about my inspirations either man, i respect you standing up for what you believe in man :D
@AnnaAnnaYes lol no not at all, im not faster than Gary Moore, my apologies if it came across that i insinuated i was, I have nothing but respect for the man =]
Great, thanks for uploading, Gary is my favourite guitarist, he's truly one of the best ever. Lots of other guitarists can play fat and flashy, but not many can match the feel and emotion Gary puts into his playing. Gary can play fast but he can slow down and play with expression too, and even his fast stuff is full of soul. That's why I rate him as one of the best, if not the best, in the world. And despite what people say, I like his voice too, very melodic.

@F4TB0Y69 Again, you didn't get it... what I meant is that you mentioned that you think he played fast, period. (That what pissed me off)
First of all i want to tell you that i'm really happy that there are people out there like you who are familiar with his early work, he deserves it.
And believe me i'm thinking before commenting... take it easy...
