I want to thank you so much for posting this video and beautiful music. I used to listen to Jon and Vangelis during the late 1980's. This is the first time I've heard this song. This song reminds me of an awesome time in my life. In 1985, I spent a lot of time with my best friend, Thomas and his then girlfriend Carol. This music not only brings those awesome memories back, it makes me feel as if I'm actually at those times. That year with Thomas and Carol was thee best time of my life. Thanks!

I sought this song out tonight here. Thanks for the post. I bought Short Stories on cassette when it came out in 1980. The whole album is the soundtrack to my first semester at B.Y.U. in Utah. I was in love with a wonderful Mormon girl. We dated from June '80 through probably June 1981 at which time we parted for break. She ended up giving me the boot due to her religion. When I get down life I like to think of that wonderful year at school and this song in particular makes it all come back.

I might add that though many YES fans were horrified when Jon left in early "80 I think of it as a blessing as I doubt Jon's releases with Vangelis would have come to pass nor perhaps Jon's Song of Seven either. Plus we got one cool new YES album with The Buggles as a bonus! Damn this song just breaks my heart. Wish I were young once more. Thank God for the music and the memories!

I haven't heard this song for twenty years!! I just got an iPhone and found it on you tube and I'm stunned! It's gorgeous... Even moreso than I remember! I lost a very close friend many years ago when I was young and it was this song which came to mind shortly after hearing the news of his sudden passing and it somehow gave me strength. My little Tara, who was more of a loving human in a cat suit, loved music, and this was one of her favourite songs. She passed away suddenly in August 2003. I always think of her when I hear this song, and it is a bittersweet comfort. I hope some day we will be "once more together"...
