  • OK, the old ones break. But there's not much in this life puts a bigger grin on my face than riding one. As the Lama has said, the best teacher of tolerance is your enemy.

  • seriously guys...been reading a few comments....i dont think theres much wrong with the bikes....just a few faults aint gonna do no1 no harm....learn a lil bout ur bike mebbe u wont hav 2 run 2 the mechanic all the time....always minor problems....i bought my mach 500lb 2 yrs ago....completed 50,000kms on indian roads! done a few offroading events...ridden through some real shitty terrain...bikes doin great and the engines still in immaculate condition...enfields r built outta rock i tell ya...

  • Just like the previous coments my enfield was one problem after another! It was so unreliable that I hated to ride it anywhere because it would probably break down. Buyer beware!

  • I think the comments on the build quality of Enfields are fair, they are rubbish in comparison to pretty much anything out of Japan. The actualy design is a classic, and it's a pity that the Indian factory didnt concentrate on excellence in quality and build, as they had a very good fundamental design. I have had lots and lots of trouble with my 2. However, they possess something thats never came out of Japan IMHO, character, I still love to ride them more than any other bike I ever owned,

  • I too was charmed by the enfields looks! The honeymoon was short lived. The first time that I rode it after getting it home I had to push it!!! It broke down so much that I never rode it. Buyer beware!!! The Enfield is the biggest piece of crap that you will ever own!! The build quality is beyond poor!!!!

  • ive just purchased my Enfield, to say the least its the most poorly built machine i have ever seen, major problems within the first hour of delivery. My Bas bantam that is 49 years old is far supieror in quality and reliabilty. however its still a nice bike and has real charm, time to strap some british back to the bike.

  • If you tell a lie big enough & often enough, everyone will believe. That's Enfield India's creed. I bought a 2006 model and the list of factory faults is long. Like many others, I was conned by the looks, a big mistake. BUYER BEWARE.

  • Seriously i am a really disturbed customer...i had lodged a complaint with the chennai head office for a tappet and tappet valve inavilability for the thunderbird any wher...but seems like no one is bothered...such videos dosnt sync in with the kind of service u guys are giving...

  • xxfairyxx sucks.. stop writing such comments about the world's best legendry bike

  • u want airbags on a bike??wot the fuck huh

  • the LOVE for BULL simply multiplied.

  • Great movie on the Royal Enfield as presently produced!

  • Clearly mainly reviewed by idiots. Its good to see the moves towards world class manufacturing at the plant. Not yet up to Toyota standards, as still a hint of aspiration rather than excellence (some real heath robinson methods still being deployed).

For you numbskulls, POKE YOKE systems are those assembly techniques and product designs that prevent errors in assembly, originally created for items that cannot be examined or tested once assembled, e.g. for a crash air bag.

  • Well said! I can't seem to connect this video with some of the earlier reviewers' comments. Maybe they think that the world owes them something, or maybe they should just stand aloof on their own little pedestals while their nanny peels them a grape.

  • well dear that's y u still see them being exported in ur country and others.....and its the only bike which does not need a advertisement to sell a bike...the ad enfields have is just fr namesake....unlike the bikes that u like which are chinese or japs....its a pitty

  • I HAVE an Indian Enfield, not a Jap bike.

  • YEP.YOU ARE RIGHT.........

  • I'd like to see the 1992 movie as well. This might be a little dry, but I have one of these bikes, and found it interesting from that perspective.

  • oh the pokey hokey

  • my hemmaroids have returned

  • great old machines.

  • I'd love to see that 1992 documentary Will!

  • Its good to see how things have changed since the 1992 documentary on the factory. At least the workers aren't sitting on the floor to make the petrol tanks anymore :).

  • Wow, boring? You mean to tell didnt like the advert at the beginning with the kid waving the green flag? And you wernt rivetted to the screen watching the low cost clamping solutions and 3 coat acrylic paint? ????

  • I cant say just how boring this video is-if you were shopping in Tescos or Asda- youd slash your wrists somewhere between the fish and meat section, but for geeks ( and me) your going to sit through it - and for pokey hokey addicts, this is for you

  • What do you do for a living then? Produce Hollywood Blockbusters or design Formula One engines for Ferrari? Or have you built up a big business empire over the last thirty or so years that you've been working? You're obviously a cut above everyone else if you need "self harm" when shopping.
