I really adored my K10D, but the K-7 feels almost as invulnerable as my old MX! The metal body inspires confidence and the performance is substantially better. I really wouldn't say anything at all if it wasn't true: the K-7 is a tremendous upgrade on the K10D, and with the release of the K-5, it's available at a very good price.

The K7 is actually the smallest of all mid-level cameras. Much smaller then Olympus E-3 and E-30, never mind the Nikon D300, which is gigantic!

1:03 "77 weather seals????""  I thought it was a "77 segment metering system.."" are they both correct? that would be alot of sevens in one product. Pentax thru and thru but this looks strange to me.
