  • Hey everyone! I made the chocolate mud cake and it was absolutely ...

... gastronomically delicious and drop dead sexy! When he mixes the flour he forgets to mention that he also mixes in the self rising flour as well. Also don't forget that when he says 190 degrees in the oven, he's talking Celsius. That's 375 Fahrenheit for us Americans! Anyways, it turned out great and I'll definitely be making it again for a special occasion! I'm so proud I can make something haha! Cheers!

  • @Chireyae Can you post the ingredient amounts please? Nicko didn't mention half of them.... many thanks. x

  • @Madkow71 It's in the description box below, but I slightly altered the amounts. For the cake I used 250g unsalted butter, 200g dark chocolate, 185g castor sugar, 2 eggs, 90g self-rising flour, 45g plain flour, 45g water, mixed all well, 1h in 180 degrees. For the ganache I used about 100g dark chocolate and 65g cream, which was more than enough to me. Hope this helps!

  • @Chireyae I just found his post!! He said: ‎250g butter, chopped 200g dark chocolate, chopped 2 cups caster sugar 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1 cup self-raising flour, sifted ... 1 1/2 cups plain flour, sifted 1/4 cup cocoa powder, sifted 1/4 cup water Thanks for replying. x

  • Thnx Nicko 4 Teaching Us How To Make A Chocolate Mud Cake Gunna Try It Out :)

  • if you guy listen carefully at 5:05 he says 180 degrees F cause its going to cook for about 1hr to 1hr and a half.

  • If it were 180 C then it would only take 20 mins to cook, any longer and the cake would burn after 25 mins. 180 F would take much longer and wouldn't burn after an hour to an hour and a half.

  • please cout u writte down the recipt in kg

    please please please

  • how many in mutes in the oven?

  • YUMMMMM!

  • Be logical! it's Celcius because in Farenheit it would be 356°F and the average baking temp is 350.

  • I think you need a bigger bowl 3: ~

  • 180 C or 180 F

  • @1216gogirl1216 U are stupid. LISTEN!

  • @1216gogirl1216 probably 180 C

  • @1216gogirl1216 Lol obvs C he's european. Only us Americans use Standard. So 360F

  • @dreamer9913 he's australian

  • @RaspberrySeason lol well this still use metric :P

  • @dreamer9913 he is Australian and only u Americans are stupid enough to call F standard....

  • @MarkoBrkic92 wow you can relax bud. where are you from?

  • @MarkoBrkic92 lol don't be jealous, Mr. Trashcan...pick up some toothpaste next time you're out =)

  • @1216gogirl1216 Pretty sure Celsius... 180 F is way to cool to cook a cake

  • @1216gogirl1216 It would be Cesius

  • @1216gogirl1216 Only American's use F so it's def 180 C.

  • @1216gogirl1216 In Australia we use Celsius so it's most likely 180C.

  • @1216gogirl1216 degrees:)

  • @1216gogirl1216 most probably 180 C.180 F is about 82 C

  • @1216gogirl1216 actually its 180 C (180 Celsius)

  • @1216gogirl1216 I would guess that it is 180 F (82 C) because in the video he said that the cake should bake in 180 degrees and that it was LOW temperatur for a cake. And 180 C is 356 F so that seems unlikely that it would be the other way around.

    Hope I'm right! :D

  • Comment removed

  • @1216gogirl1216 If you know anything about cooking or baking then it's pretty obvious that he's talking in terms of Celcius. Farenheit would be 82 Celcius which wouldn't even boil water, so logic helps here. ;)

  • @Bodraw333 lol thanks when he said it's not that high and so 350F is like an okay degree for cake. And I know 180 C is super low so i didn't know which one.

  • @1216gogirl1216 More than likely 180 c because we dont give a F in aus.

  • @1216gogirl1216 180º Celsius, 180 fahrenheit is about 82º celsius xD

  • Hey Robjnixon, can you put the recapie up here somewhere... i whant to make the cake

  • I am going to sue you for making me Fat.

  • @SuperMayrn XD

  • ohhh i like the word "chocolate mud".....

  • i like cuoco

  • I'm hungry !

  • how much sugar do we have to add??

  • @ayaannn 2 cups

  • @ayaannn 2 cups

  • You should watch some of this guy's more recent videos. He's fat now. Needs to quit eating his good cooking.

  • How much water do you put in? and how much chocolate? It came out bad when I did it?

  • Hi Nicko,

I tried to make this cake, but it came out all wrong. It was hard! Used selfraising flower, which i normally dont. Did nt add baking powder as well cuz i thougt the selfrasing flower would do the work. What did i do wrong=

    Thanks.

  • @Madhumatidc it's fahrenheit :)
