My cousin wis a nurse and works with old ppl they use this test to see if the oap's need watering... it works no matter what the age or how saggy your skin is there is a difference in how fast it snaps back

This is not so helpful. If you are constantly vomiting or having continuous diarrhea from food poisoning, you should seek medical care for fluid replacement (IV fluids). Skin turgor is subjective and is not a good indicator of hydration status.
