Be careful when using this product on un-painted CARBON FIBER surfaces. When I cut a piece the wrong size, I removed the tape and it wrecked the clear coat finish and damaged the natural carbon fiber weave of my bicycle. The tape also damaged the powder paint on my frame. My $2000 bike looks like crap now. Carbon fiber is held together with epoxy type glue, the 25% alcohol solution may have also damaged the carbon fiber. I should have stuck with Carnauba Wax.
