@fatnabs respring basically reboots but doesn't turn of your device. for example if you have to reboot you can just respring which is faster than rebooting.

@fatnabs Respring just restarts your Springboard/UI and is much faster than Rebooting. Rebooting restarts the whole system which takes time. Hope that helped.
