I love Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze!! He is great in this role. Ghost Rider was so enjoyable but was DARK despite what some people say. And wonderful performances too by Peter Fonda, Sam Elliott, Eva Mendes and Wes Bentley plus the other cast members. People are too harsh these days and I want to see the critics get behind the camera and show how to do it better, seeing as they always seem to think what was wrong with the film and what would make it better.

Plus, the visual style of Ghost Rider was great. Fuck the critics!!! His bike was outstanding and it looked like a comic book movie. And the Ghost Rider character is a brilliant concept. and that film had amazing moments. It worked for me. Where they have gone wrong with Batman is they are trying to make him real and you can't. It takes itself too seriously and looked bland. Ghost Rider was surreal and that is what I loved about it. This is Nic Cage's favourite character. He knows what to do!!

I took the film Ghost Rider metaphorically not literally. And the film does deal with growing from your mistakes and becoming something better. Just like with Spiderman, it is the moral of the story that sold me and the film was unusual. As for The Dark Knight, The new Batman has strayed too far from Bob Kane's original vision.. The new Batman reminds me of other films and gets worse on repeat viewings. And Gotham City is not supposed to LOOK LIKE Chicago. Tim Burton handled it best!!!
