@clariceriz07 Sorry for the delay in my response. I missed your comment. The base of this diorama is a foam product called Foamular. It is a house insulater. Can buy it in sheets at home depot or lowes.
Hello. Like this very much. What kind of paintings did you use? And what kind of spray? Afraid not to use some toxic for my fish. Thank you, please reply.
@MrTiagoSkater Never a good idea to use toxic paints! But if you are going to use this for a critter then even acrylic paints might have a toxic effect.
Very creative .. but the fact of the matter is you're not using environmentally friendly materials.. Like your paints and you're sealant.. It has poisonous and flammable indicators in their labels.. Why would you use them? You know you're only poisoning your customers plants and or animals if they build this in a terrarium that has animals or insects.. fish even
great video, but do you think you could make a tutorial for how to make a fogger/mister? the ones at the stores are ridiculously expensive when you are too young to get a job lol
fyi, if your going to add fake plants make sure your reptiles aren't going to try and eat the fake plants and choke on them... otherwise good video, another word of advice, do everything first, then add commentary. otherwise it leaves the viewers looking at the same damn pump for like 4 minutes and they get bored
@djfishy1000 Thanks, this is some great advice. I have been slowly getting better with the videos. It definitely is a learned skill. Been getting sharper with the editing and doing voice overs. It makes a big difference. thanks!
@epicfantasy =D. Great video but is there a possibility that you could build a stream/river? Great website too, I saw some good stuff but my main reason for discovering you was because I want to build a stream/river for my vivarium.
im gonna make one for my degu! (like a rat/chinchilla) because whenever i put water in he tips the bowl over. and i tryed those bottles and he eats them :P
see the only thing im worried about is if the paint and water sealent is toxic, then i cant use it for animals.. plz reply on how to solve this if u can
What brand of water seal did you use? The type I would use on my Paper Mache boats would only keep water from getting to the paint for about 20 minutes.
@davies619 It's called foamular and its an insulating foam. You can get it at home improvement stores. But you can also use foam sheets they sell at Arts and crafts stores.
@cpdp999 Hard to say what the cost is because I had most of the materials in my workshop. 5 dollars for a waterfall pump, 5 for foam, 5 for can of spray sealant, 1 gluestick. Improvise materials and all you have to do is get yourself a small waterpump at the local dollar store.
This is fucking awesome man... I love your work. I want to be like you when i quit working. :) With a cool working place a garage or something like that... Keep it up! You're a great guy!
@workingwitZs You make a good point here. I used a rust-o-leum crystal clear sealer. But if you are going to put this waterall into a terrarium with animals you might want to find something that is officially non-toxic. I am not sure who would make that. Maybe it doesn't matter but I would check to be safe about your pets.
I wish I had alot of free time so I could make like a massive diorama.. That would be so cool.. Maybe when I'm retired.. But that will take a damn long time x'd
@simone12russo It is called foamular and I bought it at home depot. You can get all kinds of suitable foam at hobby and craft stores like Michaels and AC Moore.
love your vids man:)

@itachi1303 I do it in two stages, first I use a hot wire foam cutter to get the rough shapes then I do all the detail work with an X-acto knife.
