  • love your vids man:)

  • what is the material that you use as your base for the waterfall (the land)?

  • @clariceriz07 Sorry for the delay in my response. I missed your comment. The base of this diorama is a foam product called Foamular. It is a house insulater. Can buy it in sheets at home depot or lowes.

  • Hello. Like this very much. What kind of paintings did you use? And what kind of spray? Afraid not to use some toxic for my fish. Thank you, please reply.

  • its not that helpful but looks awesome great stuff

  • here's one i made earlier ;D

  • awsome!!! what paint do you use?

  • @MrTiagoSkater I use woodland scenics terrain paints. But almost any paint will work very well.

  • @epicfantasy can be toxic?

  • @MrTiagoSkater YEs, good point, some paints can be toxic.

  • @epicfantasy i can use toxic paints?

  • @MrTiagoSkater Never a good idea to use toxic paints! But if you are going to use this for a critter then even acrylic paints might have a toxic effect.

  • @epicfantasy is for a bearded dragon cage

  • @epicfantasy then, what all paints would be ok?

  • this is even cooler when you buy a deep background and cuz some pieces out and make a waterfall out of that;)

  • That was great!!!

  • Very creative .. but the fact of the matter is you're not using environmentally friendly materials.. Like your paints and you're sealant.. It has poisonous and flammable indicators in their labels.. Why would you use them? You know you're only poisoning your customers plants and or animals if they build this in a terrarium that has animals or insects.. fish even

  • great video, but do you think you could make a tutorial for how to make a fogger/mister? the ones at the stores are ridiculously expensive when you are too young to get a job lol

  • @TheFearhunters thanks, this is a great idea. I will take a look at how a fogger is made. Might be interesting.

  • fyi, if your going to add fake plants make sure your reptiles aren't going to try and eat the fake plants and choke on them... otherwise good video, another word of advice, do everything first, then add commentary. otherwise it leaves the viewers looking at the same damn pump for like 4 minutes and they get bored

  • @djfishy1000 Thanks, this is some great advice. I have been slowly getting better with the videos. It definitely is a learned skill. Been getting sharper with the editing and doing voice overs. It makes a big difference. thanks!

  • Very cool

  • Love it I need one for my Chinese water dragon

  • "I bought this at a dollar store, cost me 5 dollars." Haha.

  • @epicfantasy =D. Great video but is there a possibility that you could build a stream/river? Great website too, I saw some good stuff but my main reason for discovering you was because I want to build a stream/river for my vivarium.

  • @epicfantasy Hi! where did you bought the water pumps? what 99 store? is it dollar tree? 99 cents store?

  • @reallylongusername03 I don't remember which dollar store. Check whichever ones are near you!

  • @epicfantasy i dont think we have a fountain in my dollar store.. if you have one, can i buy it?

  • @ALopezProduction i lol'd

  • i might make one this is very cool :)

  • im gonna make one for my degu! (like a rat/chinchilla) because whenever i put water in he tips the bowl over. and i tryed those bottles and he eats them :P

  • @stupify4life That is cool but your degu might eat the foam of this?

  • @epicfantasy im guessing so. i might be able to make it out of rocks? like buy some slab or something.

  • @stupify4life sure!

  • @epicfantasy yea, but it may be hard to dril lthe little indent's for the water flow, but a grinder or some sort of file may do the trick

  • what is the little pump called brill idea xx

  • Think you could make a video on how to make a stream?

  • @2pac129557 Thanks for the suggestion, I should do this. I have some stream making tutorials on my website somewhere though.

  • Thanks hopefully ill be able to put a bonsai tree in ace of the toy and some real moss :)

  • @2pac129557 Now that's a terrific idea!

  • What type of foam did you use?

  • @2pac129557 The foam is called "Foamular" I bought it at Home Depot. Comes in big sheets. It's a home insulating material.

  • im gonna make one for my desk :)

  • @sonikdude49 Very nice, the sound and sense from the water is very healthy and relaxing.

  • real waterfall with "real" water ?

  • haha good idea!

  • awesomeee

  • good video,great info, thanks.....

  • see the only thing im worried about is if the paint and water sealent is toxic, then i cant use it for animals.. plz reply on how to solve this if u can

  • THIS IS BAD ASS

  • really liked this video

  • can u make a vid on how to fix a broken pump? because my pump doesnt seem to flow

  • What brand of water seal did you use? The type I would use on my Paper Mache boats would only keep water from getting to the paint for about 20 minutes.

  • wot foam did u use?

  • @davies619 It's called foamular and its an insulating foam. You can get it at home improvement stores. But you can also use foam sheets they sell at Arts and crafts stores.

  • @epicfantasy What About At the Top u make a Light House? or Somthing. A house?

Some Ore or some "epic fantasy" stuff make a little rpg :P

  • @Yugioh208 This is a great idea! Thanks. The top of the landscape definitely should have something.

  • @epicfantasy I used this for my "War In The Jungle" diorama

  • @Xythe43 Nice!! Send me pics if you have a digital camera.

  • What selent did you use and what kinda paint is safe for frogs

  • @FarCry24680 congrats on your waterfall. To be honest with you I am not really sure what sealants would be pet safe.

  • @epicfantasy If you could find out that would be great and im also looking myself.

    Cheers

  • @FarCry24680 i would use acrylic and then use clear spray gloss

  • What sealant is safe for frogs and what sort of paint is safe aswell ive finished my waterfall just need to paint it cant wait please help.

    =]

  • i always wanted one of these

  • i really liked this video i really want to make one now, how much did the hole thing cost in terms of the paint, the foam the motor and so on.

  • @cpdp999 Hard to say what the cost is because I had most of the materials in my workshop. 5 dollars for a waterfall pump, 5 for foam, 5 for can of spray sealant, 1 gluestick. Improvise materials and all you have to do is get yourself a small waterpump at the local dollar store.

  • This is fucking awesome man... I love your work. I want to be like you when i quit working. :) With a cool working place a garage or something like that... Keep it up! You're a great guy!

  • hey what kind of non-toxic paint sealer did you use?

  • @workingwitZs You make a good point here. I used a rust-o-leum crystal clear sealer. But if you are going to put this waterall into a terrarium with animals you might want to find something that is officially non-toxic. I am not sure who would make that. Maybe it doesn't matter but I would check to be safe about your pets.

  • I wish I had alot of free time so I could make like a massive diorama.. That would be so cool.. Maybe when I'm retired.. But that will take a damn long time x'd

  • If you don't mind me asking, whats your day job?

  • That looks fun to do. Great step by step plans.

  • @rkttkr Thanks, It was a fun project and it took me an afternoon. It came out great - very happy with this one.

  • What's the name of this pink material that you have used?

  • @simone12russo It is called foamular and I bought it at home depot. You can get all kinds of suitable foam at hobby and craft stores like Michaels and AC Moore.

  • very cool

  • I am so happy that i found this channel

  • @quickpwnman28 THanks! Glad to have you as a subscriber! Lots more projects coming and I am always looking for ideas!

  • you went 2 the dollar store and bought something for 5$... hmmm.... whats wrong with that :) jk but nice waterfall...

  • @TonPappa LOL! IT was the one dollar store! I got robbed :) Good thing there's not a .99 cent store in my neighborhood, I would have been livid.

  • Awesome!

  • Nice job im building a zen garden river and i was stuck on how the water would work u saved me and my project

  • it looks good, but a little too dark i think

  • Great share, Will. Awesome work!

  • How do you get such great cuts out of your foam?

  • @itachi1303 I do it in two stages, first I use a hot wire foam cutter to get the rough shapes then I do all the detail work with an X-acto knife.

  • Very cool I like those. now i know how to make one
