    VIVA MEXICO.

  • Wow. I have the same gear as you do. Exact same line up. I think i found my long lost twin <3.

  • Nice Playing man. For all of you with amp trouble, check out carvin. They make some really awesome all tube amplifiers for 600 even.

  • carvin makes good amps, but i luv my b-52 it has fender clean, and marshall (old marshall) shred it's an awsome amp. if i was going to buy a carvin it would be the

    v3

  • I bought a B-52 head new for the hell of it. It was only 400 bucks. It only lasted me about 5days. So I took it back and they ordered me a new one. BRAND NEW. It made to my apartment. It snapped, popped, and smoked as soon as I turned it on. Biggest piece of shit I have ever owned. Very poor craftsmanship. Bad parts and even worse customer service. They said it was my wall socket. I plug my 5150 in to all the time. Fuck B-52.

  • was it hooked up to a cab?

  • yes it was. And yes it was hooked up correct. The correct ohms. There is a reason nobody uses them and their so cheap. they are junk. If it works for some people than great. Some people love it. Cool. I had a bad experience with it and their customer service was the the worst part of all. Fucking dipshits. I would suggest saving 100-200 more dollars and buying a 5150 or 5150ii. Best amps on the planet. Last forever and sound amazing.

  • don't forget the 5150III

  • I havent had the chance to play on one yet. Hopefully soon though.

  • @humpthewhatbutt i guess queensryche is no body.......considering their lead guitarests use the stealth series st100a.........the same head i own and have NEVER had any problems with......its all tube and comes DAMN close to matching the tone of the mesa triple recs (no joke)........there is a reason the st100a and at-100 are called the poor mans mesa boogies.........they have some of the BEST tone of ANY tube amplifiers in ANY price range............you my friend just got unlucky

  • @ihaveadogandheisfat - is that the new model that comes with a fire extinguisher hooked on the back?

  • @ihaveadogandheisfat -Oh and as far as him being "unlucky" with the AT100000......sure are a hell of alot of "unlucky" people out there-myself included. There is a reason AT100000's sell for $300 and under on evilbay. DOO DOO cheap parts.

  • hey man i just got this amp used but i took out the fuckig fuse cuz it wasnt working and now i lost it. do you know what kind of fuse it takes?

  • not at this moment... but let me check today at home and i tell u tomorrow

  • @Rock4lifeyoyo just take a small dog turd and push it into where the fuse goes.....the amp will work just as well as it normally does. Maybe even better!

  • do you recommend this amp to me? I am thinking of buying. My abdn plays metal. Is it loud enough for gigs?

  • man, i am very happy with this amplifier the sound is amazing and the price too!... and it have a very "loud and pounch" distortion.. if you play metal as a ritmic guitar player will not need effects. check my other videos i have one with a ibanez js and i am playing the same amplifier with another effects! good luck!

  • Thank you. Is it solid state or tube?

  • 100% tube...(that's why it have to much potence) it have butom in the back of the head that emulate a transistor amplifier in the case that u want to play jazz or something that don´t need too much "pounch" even u can put it as an hybrid mode, but for metal u will never use this option. I use to have a "marshall avt" that is an hybrid.. but is a piece of shit beside this amplifier.

  • nice, I have never used a tube before, and i love effects. I am thinking of gettin ga line6 spider III HD150 head, with this b-52 cab. What do yuo think? Will it be loud?

  • i don´t know about the line 6 i just heard a combo the other day and to me it sounds great... i don´t know if the head is solid or tube i am just thinking when i use to have the marshall it was 150w and it was shitty compared by the b52 of 100w head.

  • nothing compares to tube and in my honest oppinion line 6 sucks balls.

  • ok...

its my oppinion dude your not going to change it.

  • alright. I was just saying maybe give it another chance...but whatever, I like it thats all that matters.

  • nice haha

  • moron..

  • If you buy a stack its a waste of money with a line 6.

  • good player

  • tnx man!

  • hey man what cab are you using

  • b-52 4*12

    no te llamas oscar??

  • si, exactamente ese mero por?

  • Have it, and an Esp EC-1000 :D. Great playing dude.

  • tnx... i see you like children of bodom...

  • Great sound! CooL~

  • tnx man!

  • i have a b-52 and the gt-6 as well, how do you have your gt-6 hooked up?

  • mmm man i don´t have anymore the gt6 :S and it was a custom distortion :S i made it all by my self prgraming all the gt6 and i use to play it in manual mode to manipulate delay, chorus... and even single coil simulation. at this moment i am searching for a tc electronix.

  • i think both

  • hey i just got my b52 what are your tone settings because i really love the way your tone sounds

  • the fact is that i take this video the day i buy the amp... so all the settings was in middle range :P, but i am using a custom distortion from the gt6 boss, that i dont have anymore, cya man!

  • well i prove the 2x12 combo when i buy this one, and i find it good, but the only different thing is that the sound is less saturated, and in this video i use all the settings in middle range in clean channel with gt6 effect created by my self.

  • What was that? This is NOT music! Guitar-handling.Maybe. But not real, perfect, and original MUSIC! So, try it again!

  • what should i expect from some one who likes pop and marilyn manson hahaha.. good luck man.

  • dang dude. i might just sell off my old head and get this one. i have the 400 watt b-52 cab with the solid state version of this head. i love the sounds you're getting from this.

  • tnx for post! keep rocking

  • What bands are you into?

  • tocas excelente!! quien te enseño?

  • a pues soy lírico, bueno yo he estudiado por mi cuenta únicamente, gracias!

  • Hey man...just to clarify, I spoke with the people from B-52 and they said that even when you are on the solid state mode all tubes still turned on! There is no trazistor on this amp! It simulates one! If you try, the biggest hi-gain came in this mode! Great tone!! I have one too and it is a good head!!

    Falow...hehehe

  • well i never use it as a solid :P i don´t find nothing for me on that state, tnx for the comment, is an interesting tip.

  • the solid state rectification is for metal settings. the mesa boogie dual rectifier also has solid state rectifiers. this doesn't mean the amp is solid state. it is still tube. it just has more headroom when you use the solid state rectification mode. try it.

  • tnx man!

  • I COULD buy a B-52 AT-100 halfstack but it has a shitty cab.. fender FM 412... $700 CND.. which is a not bad deal. but I was looking at a used mesa boogie single rectifier too its $1500 CND I dno if the guy sold it though I might just buy the head cause I don't have enough for everything.. but is this thing really worth the money? because I'm thinking about getting it then selling it later when I have enough cash to get a mesa

  • well.. i sell my marshall to buy this one... for me works excellent... maybe for u too, this head is very versatile... you can choose has solid hybrid or valve... i always use valve... u can see in the video why... now i sell my gt6 to use just the amplifier distortion... and a G MAJOR effects.

  • what kind of marshall was it?

  • marshall avt 150 hx with cab celestion 4x12 too

  • i, love mesa too, but if you want to have something good before mesa u can buy this one... i prefer b-52 before marshall's that is probably the first competence for this amplifier... Fender is not commond to be used for metal or punk i mean fender is wonderful amplifier but is more used for jazz, classic rock, blues..

  • dimarzio evolution... tnx.. and i think that it sounds band because i record it with a photographic camera.

  • Well you are wrong lol. It sounds bad ass, both your playing and your equipment. That B-52 is really tempting with its price and quality

  • well you can visit myspace,com/proagresivomx you can check there how the amplifier sounds on the studio.

  • Killer tone man! What exact model DiMarzios are you using?

  • dimarzio evolution... tnx.. and i think that it sounds band because i record it with a photographic camera.

  • hey man i have this amp also, and i love it, but i was wondering if you ever have problems when you are playing on the top 3 strings, the bottom three strings ringing out when you dont want them to?

  • no i don´t have anyproblem like that i think it sounds amazing and with a big fidelity. :P

  • u're welcome!

  • sweet, thanks

  • That actually sounded pretty sweet. What amp and guitar are you using?

  • oh is the b-52 all tube at100, i sell my marshall to buy this one... is cheap and is amazing, it have the option to put it as a solid, valve or mixed, in this i am using valve, the guitar is an ESP LTD 307 (seven strings) with dimarzio evolution pickups. if u think it sounds good... you must hear it by your self... i record this with just a photograpic camera.
