  • yep that's a german "Splitterschutzweste" - kevlar flak vest the reporter wears underneath the a plate carrier i assume

  • Bradleys are fucking cool and all but CAV Scouts are annoying as fuck.

  • German agile uniform??

  • Thumbs up if you came here because of future

  • @erictheweb was that you in the video?

  • I still love the sound of the 25mm, @niceboy, Osama is not safe anymore. I would gladly spilled more blood looking for him.

  • @americanstormseeker isn't Osama dead?

  • Whats with his Body Armor... looks Danish or German

  • @Peabush It's American, I think it is reactive armour.

  • @1169Timothy not the armor on the vehicle. His vest. Body armor.

  • @Peabush if you are thinking that the pattern on the vest looks German, it dose. But then again, his overall gear looks old, perhaps he was issued the old gear. I am not sure to be honest with you. It is the Shoulder pad looking things that throw me off.

  • @1169Timothy Same same. The german's have a little more red oak color in it. Where as the danish is basically the same just more green. The shoulder pads are also what threw me off. Could be old gear with the frog camo the US issues. However this is in Feb 2007. No idea..

  • @Peabush Old Gear, US military i'm pretty sure. Says in the description National Guard, doubt those guys get the latest top of the line rigs... (PASGT pot with old school desert camo kinda gives it away in my eyes, but i'm not sure.)

  • Accuracy could be better but it still is a hell of a vehicle.

  • why is it firing at a tank with a pea shooter?

  • itsa training exercise

  • @laptoprepairdublin Because that "pea shooter" with armor-piercing ammo can cut right through tank armor.

  • @OlderG0ds the bradly sucks i have seen bradlys get blown to bits turrets blow of the top and because of big ieds but some times they just put gas in them to make it look like it got blown up by beeing on fire

  • @Blueatchley12 ? Err... What? Horrific spelling ensured that noone understood your ridiculously run-on sentence, and I doubt you've seen a bradley in your life with spelling like that. Sides, the ammo's set up to not blow the turret of in the event of a cook off, unlike the soviets tanks like the T-72.

  • @cockofdoody4ftw LOL NEVER senn a bradley ive seen hundreds im a m1 armored crewman in the 761st tank battalion in the us army ive seen so many bradleys and well ive seen one get blown to bits and i herd ammo cooking off but it was a huge ied and i mean no insult to the bradley but bradley vrs big ied =dead bradley.

  • @Blueatchley12 Fair enough. 1st CER here, attached to an armour battalion (lav 25s and IIIs), And I guess I've seen LAVs hit bad by IEDs, but no cook offs, or catastrophics. What position are you? Isn't the progression for m1s in the corps driver, loader, gunner, commander? And if so, is it the same for army boys?

  • @cockofdoody4ftw im a tank comander got out of iraq about 3 months ago going back to base in about 1 more month takeing us out of iraq but ill still have fun with training and shooting un maned tanks and preatty much same with all the army guys

  • @Blueatchley12 Nice. Served in Afghanistan, finished back in 07. Shoulda went into an armored BCT, sounds fun.

  • @Blueatchley12 You ever get to service or crew a stryker? Heard those things were shit.

  • @cockofdoody4ftw yeah they are only good for stealth missions ive been inside one but thats it.

  • @Blueatchley12 Strykers for stealth?! ... SMH

  • @cockofdoody4ftw yeah the engine hardley mkaes a sound and has a night vision equitment nick named by iraqi's "Ghost Troops"

  • Dumb stupid wars

    .

killing people for more than 10 years for nothing

    .

How this stupid wars help Americans in this difficult times when some are struggling to put food on the table or find jobs

    .

How does conquering falluja for a few hours until soldiers return back to there base can help anyone

    .

My heart is the 200.000 people which have been killed ,10 years of stupid wars in the wrong country's WHILE OSAMA WAS SAFE ( IN PAKISTAN)

  • the should put the GAU-8 Avenger 30mm Cannon on the Bradley. how cool would that be.

  • @1984wrx If so, it will be no room for soldiers inside the apc - ammo for GAU-8 will take it all.

  • @originalreal good point. how about the 30mm chain gun off a apache longbow? this next question goes out to anyone who knows there guns, how effective is the 25mm round against armor?

  • @1984wrx Not so effective as 120mm M256 I think=)

  • color of sand vehicle and from a distance from above impossible to see.

  • BMP-2 and BMP-3 Kick its ass!!!

  • Thumbs up if you come here because Bradley Manning.

  • I OWN THE BRADLEY ON BATTELFIELD BAD COMPANY 2

  • @xx9MMxx You really need to but BF3!

  • @rick928 i have bf3 and i own a, AA Canon

  • @OPKvids -- Just to clarify, we called them APVs (Armored Personnel Vehicles - misspelled below), but they are also called APCs (Armored/Armed Personnel Carriers), and today, IFVs (Infantry Fighting Vehicles). Of course, I also wore BDUs (Battle Dress Uniform) which are now called ACUs (Army Combat Uniforms) today. Oh how times have changed.

  • @OPKvids -- Bradleys are not "light tanks". They are Armored Personal Vehicles (APVs) designed for rapid troop insertion in hot combat zones. You have a gunner, driver, commander, and six dismount infantryman. They replaced the M113 of Vietnam fame. Nobody dismounts a tank in combat. I was in 1st Battalion 7th Infantry Regiment 3rd Infantry Division (1/7 Inf, 3ID), Mechanized, stationed in Germany in the 80s and 90s and assigned to an M2-A1 Bradley.

  • Bradleys are light tanks

  • You got a light out dude. Front right!

  • WOOO! Go MN!

  • The fire button was relabeled from "fire" to "kill Iraqis".

  • I hope you don't take my comments as rude or condescending, please don't because that was not my intention.

If you ever get a chance, talk to some of the older Mech Infantry guys that may remember removing the swim barrier....fun times.

5/21 Inf 7ID(light) Ft. Ord, CA

    1/8 Inf,4ID Ft, Carson, CO

1/23 Inf, 2ID Ft. Lewis, WA

  • JiffJaffa,

I don't know how long you have been or were around Bradley's, but if you research FM 23-1 Bradley Gunnery, 18 MAR 1996, you will see fire commands when the range is part of the command. I have experience with just about every variant of BFV from Desert Storm to the present. My first period of active duty was from 92-99 (I had a break in service and am now at the 13 year mark) in which I was actually a section leader and have spent what seems like an eternity in the BFV.

  • I love how the highest rated comment is so full of shit that no one even bothered to vote it down.

    Just another day on YouTube.

  • USA lost war in iraq & afghanistan, we dont won a war according to death ratio, but when we complet ou goal.

Taliban goal : kik american ass out of the country : allmost achieved

Iraq rebellion : kik american ass out of the country : achieved

  • @MsCasper2010

hahaha you are soooo wrong lady

We have absolutely destoyed the taliban and the Iraq insurgency.

We have to worry about civilian casualties and that prohibits us from totally wasting every single person over there. Which would be so easy...

We only use about 5% of the force we are allowed to use, if we could use 100 percent Iraq and Afghanistan would be a wasteland.

Also, the Taliban are cowards: they always run from firefights, only engauge soliders from long range

  • @MrImbetterthanyou69 OK put yourself in their shoes if the only thing you had was an ak-47 and your going up against highly trained and highly armored soldiers and Apache helicopters i would run to its one thing to be brave but its another to be stupid and die(Taliban soldiers have balls to go up against this type of firepower) nothing against our brave men and woman fighting for a pointless cause

  • @1stSFOS They shouldn't have taken that AK-47 in first place.

  • @SkyMarshallDanda Well again put your self in their shoes if a country invaded the united states and killed 1 million of your people wouldn't you have picked up that ak or ar and fought of the invaders i know i would.

  • Gunner, Sabo, PC, one two-hundred

    Identified

    Driver up

    on the way

    Target target target

cease fire (driver back) target destroyed.

    I miss my Bushmaster!

  • @sspazz35 M2A3 has no range in the fire command. its lazed. also you still need a command to fire from the BC.

I wont get into multiple target engagement fire commands from an M2A3.....A3 Mike Golf 2004.

  • @JiffJaffa

I actually tested the IBAS and the CIV at the Yuma Proving Grounds before the military put them into production. I also got the opportunity to do some testing for FBCB2 platforms. This all took place circa 94-96 while in D. Co. 1/8 Inf, Ft. Carson, CO. I was slated to go Mike Golf school in 1999 but ETS'd just before.

  • Wasn't the "goal" in Afghanistan to kill Osama? Wasn't the goal in Iraq to find "weapons of mass destruction? He is and we didn't so why are our soldiers dying there? Secondly it would save us a little money not to mention if congress voted againest their pay raises.

  • Minnesota, hooah!

  • the bradley and the british warrior IFVs are almost the same

  • much better than the russian BTR firing

  • @polvereoro86

    1) Which BTR model?

    2) BTR is an APC. Bradley is an IFV. Compare Bradley's firing with BMP-3 and BMD-4.

  • @BitnikGr watch?v=Kg6l_bvJUMg

i can;t recall any russian ifv so i suppose it wouldn't be unfair to compare both .... IMHO

  • @polvereoro86 That video doesn't prove anything actually. Just firing from 4 different vehicles. And they have several mistakes there. First, it is not BMP-3M, but it is a simple BMP-3 and it is not in Greece, but in Cyprus.

Second, video with CV-90 is from demonstration for video presentation and advertisement. They sure got the best crew available and shoot as many scenes as they wanted to present it in their promo video.

Video with BMP-3 is an amateur footage from training of recruits.

  • @polvereoro86 ...

It is an interesting video, just to watch 4 vehicles together. But not for direct comparison, since they are not in same conditions in same fire range.

  • @BitnikGr agree they couldn't be compared ,, i would like to see BTR and specifically BMP1, 2 & 3 firing accuracy but still, i think the Bradley though not to be directly compared with any other FV mentioned has a truly solid gun , puts all bullets onto the target

  • @polvereoro86 Which BTR? BTR-80's 14,5mm machinegun is not very accurate, since it is not stabilized. But BTR-90 and especially, with Bakhcha-U turret has "sniper like" accuracy. It really kicks asses. 100mm low velocity gun, 30mm autocannon and ATGM "Arkan" with range up to 7km.

BMP-1 has only 75mm low velocity gun. Not powerfull and not accurate (effective range - 500m)... it was great in 70s, but already obsolete in 79-80 (Afghan war). In mountains of Afghanistan that gun hadn't enough...

  • @polvereoro86 ... hadn't enough elevation to engage Mujahedins on mountains. They developed BMP-2 with 30mm autocannon and elevation up to 74dgr and stabilization. Now it was powerful weapon against infantry and slow moving aerial targets, but now infantry couldn't demolish fortifications and houses (had to ask artillery support all the time). That's why BMP-3 got both... 100mm low velocity gun and 30mm autocannon. :)

    -

  • @polvereoro86 ...

Actually, you can take a look at my channel. I've uploaded 7 videos about BMP-1,2,3 and BMD-1,2,3,4 with English subtitles. You can follow history of their development.

    -

What does it mean "truly solid gun"? "Puts all bullets onto the target" - At which range and which target size? You know that every weapon system has a dispersion. Usually measured in mrads. Do you know the value of dispersion of M242 for Bradley?

  • @BitnikGr I never miss ur uploads m8,, no bulshit i never miss a single1 cause US arms r waaayyy covered by youtube vids and wiki & stuff,,,,but Russian is completely opposite,,,,, i'm buffering now ur BMP4 vid btw,,, abt the dispersion i;m not aware of it, and i think we can never find a single opportunity to DIRECTLY compare a US and Russian tank or even APC or IFV,,,, I;ve searched for MRADs & found nothing, seems like not a very well known abbreviation seems too profesional to find on th net

  • @polvereoro86 "i think we can never find a single opportunity to DIRECTLY compare a US and Russian tank or even APC or IFV" - Why not. There are many tenders all over the world where AFVs compete with each other. Very seldom, result are available and some times even with details. For example, Bradley competed with CV-90 in Denmark I think...and it lost, especially in mobility.

CV-90 competed with BMP-3 and Marder in Greece. CV-90 was better, but Greece wanted to buy BMP-3 for political reasons.

  • @polvereoro86 ...

CV-90 was better for particular needs of Hellenic Army... not like it is better than BMP-3 in everyway. Indonesia was offered Bradleys too (if I am not mistaken), they prefered BMP-3F for Marines.

  • @BitnikGr it is true that soldiers in diff armies prefer diff arms and weapons , also depends on each army's needs

  • Well sad thing is that they don't even know why they are there ....

  • Why is he wearing some deutch camo plates on his shoulders?

  • $ WAR FOR OIL $

  • @lilizinha666 Um you could have just lifted the embargo for the oil

  • @badgerattoadhall seems easy right .....

  • @lilizinha666 if it was about oil thats all you had to do easy easy

  • @badgerattoadhall is why it is so difficult for you to take something so obvious? that the war was to seize Iraqi oil? What's the problem, shame?

  • @lilizinha666 Errr no it was a miss guided belief, why Iraq was invaded. How much oil did we get and the thing is winding down. Tribute is always cheaper than war.

  • you would get some serious pussy driving that round the streets of LA

  • Now that's a man's machine shonuff! Who wouldn't like firing that thing?

  • Woodland MARPAT?

  • Comment removed

  • Hey im from Minnesota. Go Minnesota national guard!

  • I was in the USMC and always wondered why they did not put a bigger gun on the bradley. Why didn't they pick a cannon larger than 25mm? If anyone can answer this much appreciated.

  • @BIRDDOG551 Maybe because the vehicle was designed in 1981 and at that time 25mm auto-cannon was good enough. Most of IFVs of that period had 20-30mm autocannons.

M242 cannon with M919 rounds was capable to deal with any light carried vehicles and for heavy armored Bradley has TOWs.

IFVs with 40+mm cannon, armor against 30mm shells and heavy APCs started to appear much later.

  • @BIRDDOG551 ...

For example, the APFSDS-T round of Bofors 40mm L70 (installed on Swedish CV-90) cannon has penetration of 140mm RHA. It is enough to penetrate sides of any modern MBT in the World.

I would like to know penetration of M242 with M919...

  • @BitnikGr Thank you.

  • @BitnikGr the 25mm is for AFV and soft targets the bradley has to tows for tanks. in the 1991 gulf war i think bradleys killed more tanks than did the abrams.

  • sick as bradley,

  • Time and history has given the general public a context of righteousness and a consenus to condemn hitler and his cronies... including the ss and the german soldiers who fought for the pride of their country. Look at the present state of america and you will see that in deed... very little is different between modern day AMERICA and 1938 nazi germany.

  • I HAVE A QUESTION ,,, THE BRADLEY IS AN APC TANK OR A REGULAR TANK?

  • @MrGamalier Neither. I believe it's classified as an IFV - Infantry Fighting Vehicle due to its 25mm cannon. But, if you prefer, falls more under the APC class. "Tanks" always have heavier armament, i.e. a 105/120mm main gun plus coaxial MG's.

  • how long is the barrel 75mm or 50mm?

  • @EpicFlamerz55 its only 25mm, or at least the standard one is. 25mm bushmaster cannon

  • @sowarabinomai ok thnx

  • @EpicFlamerz55 Barrel is 25mm in diameter. This is called a caliber. Barrel length of the M242 is 2.175mm. In other words it is a 25mm L87 cannon. 87 is length of the cannon in calibers. 87*25=2175.

  • Fallujah, the town in iraq where the u.s. forces attacked and used depleted uranium munitions, check out the long-term effects that result.........

  • Cool and it has Rocket Launcher :D

  • @SRMTHFGLover1 TOW missile

  • @SRMTHFGLover1 a TOW Missile actually

  • @1:59 the coolest feature. MBGD's firing the 76mm. Coolest effect especially when you watch frame by frame.

  • WTF

  • Fleck-tarn D camo? why is he wearing German body armor lol

  • Dont bradleys use the 25mm bofors gun just almost like the AC-130 (And no im not a COD freak)

  • @paystobeawinner1 they use a 25mm bushmaster, its similar

  • @paystobeawinner1 Its a M242 Bushmaster chain gun, the AC-130 uses a 25mm gatling gun, 40mm bofors, and 105mm howitzer. Its all on wikipedia which is actually quite accurate on most things.

  • is this DU ammo?

  • @domdadon018 they use DU ammo when fighting against armor, which iraqis dont got, so no this is not DU ammo

  • Hello from Wisconsin. Thanks for the great footage.

  • Amazing sound and visuals

  • Nice Bushmaster footage

  • Red Bulls!

  • lol i found it funny that they were shooting better at night than in the daylight :P Cool video. Bradleys are pretty sweet.

  • @sentineloffreedom with night vision that goes for all troops mounted or not. Night firing is like a video game.

  • @rphinks Yeah, that's what i've heard... marking targets with those IR lasers and tracers flying around all at the same time, I could definitely imagine it feeling like a game.

  • way to go drowingn out the guys voice with some music

  • Imagine what that 25 mm round would do to an insurgent with a direct hit

  • i like the bradleys, (but teh amtrack aav is better teehee)

  • those tracers are too beautiful to be the instruments of death :(

  • I think he has a german Ballistic vest :D

  • my name is bradley as a matter of fact and i believe that the Bradley LAV is a excellent machine

  • @oldgregrox

the bradley is not a LAV, its either an IFV(infantry fighting vehicle), or CFV(CAVALRY fighting vehicle) depending on the configuration. LAVs are what marines use- same main gun though- truly awesome

  • DESPITE BEING BRAZILIAN LOVE THE UNITED STATES AND THEIR AMAZING MACHINES. A COUNTRY THAT PRESERVE THE PEACE AND RESPECT THE LAW AND THE PEOPLE CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL HUMANITARIAN ACTION IN THE WORLD The AMERICAN PEOPLE AND WONDERFUL

  • @flavicrocs35 Country which started most of the wars since WW II preserves peace? :)))

  • @BitnikGr we did not start the korean war, we did not start vietnam, we did not start the gulf war, or the FYS

  • @badgerattoadhall You have made many other invasions. You mentioned only those you haven't started.

    What's the FYS, btw?

  • the guy at the beginning wears a german flak vest!

  • Can't wait to see what they replace the Bradley with

  • BTR- 90 eat bradleys for breakfast lol

  • @sietepeo1 Bradley's armament eats BTR-90 armor too. So, it is basically who will shoot first.

  • @BitnikGr that is a good unpartial answer, thanks.

  • Is the bradley armored? Or just APC/Support tank? Also, I LOVE THE M2/M3! Freaking cooL!

  • 1:56 what was that?

  • @pele42891 its a smoke screen(sorry 4 my english)

  • @xXxn3ls0nxXx you spelt it all right. and thanks for the knowledge

  • @xXxn3ls0nxXx kinda curious though, thinking kinda probable for once for me, what purpose does the smoke screen have, i understand to conceal the bradley from enemy fire but doesnt that kind of make it stand out. if there is a smoke screen like that and you dont see a bradley outside of the smoke, guess bet its in the smoke so just shoot into the smoke, he cant see out from the bradley now cause he is in the smoke, does that make sense or am i just not getting it?

  • @pele42891 you put the smoke screen on, then maneuver to safety, conceal movement etc but the main thing is that dense smoke screen obscures laser designators and blinds infra red rays. so in short smoke and movement.

  • @intrax3000 oh alright thanks

  • @pele42891 Smoke also scatters laser beams. If laser beam is scattered then ATGMs can't be guided. Most tanks and IFVs have so called "soft-kill" system. Sensors locate laser beam illuminating the vehicle. Fire Control System automatically turns turret toward that direction and discharge smoke grenades. Also it inform the crew where from approximately laser-beam is coming. Crew then can maneuver to safety.

The most advanced system gives immediately fire solution to FCS and crew can engage...

  • @BitnikGr recieved thank you

  • Cool

  • i dont think that camo tarp is hiding the bradley very well

  • @TwistedComplex The camo net is protecting the TC from sniper fire while still allowing him to see out...

  • @erictheweb I think he is being a smart ass.

  • @erictheweb this "camo net" protection have some humvees too.

i known this is older wersion without commanders FLIR observation unit.

this is ODS, ODS-E or withou modyfications?

  • @erictheweb The camo net is there to provide the Bradley commander with some kind of concealment from enemy snipers, not cover, just concealment.

  • @erictheweb i dont think a camo net will stop a bullet

  • @101andrewj but is enough to don't allow the sniper to see inside the net

  • @erictheweb The camo net is for that ....but the reall usage was most likely for shade

  • @TwistedComplex What bradley

  • a new bulletcatcher for KALSHNIKOV Rounds ^^

    sweet

  • cool

  • OCRAM: IRAAAAAAAAAAAQ. IT'S IROQ FOR CHRIST SAKES, IRAQ IS PRONOUNCED IROQ............

  • what different exists between a tank and a Shield vehicle?

  • what part of MN? I am from New Ulm.

  • 0:42 why this guy has flecktarn?

  • wow

  • I ♥ Bradleys :)

  • @R0ozter my name is bradley. :P

  • @R0ozter I love you too. JK lol

  • @Bradley0123451 ahhaha

  • @R0ozter Fuck your "Bradleys", The M1 is way better.

  • @EmergencyVehiclesAu Yeah, we (the Army) have those as well. That is like comparing apples an oranges you MO! The M-2/3 is a TROOP TAXI, not a TANK you R-Tard. So how can the M1 be better? They each serve a very specific purpose. If you're saying, "The M1 is better because it blows shit up better" then I would counter and say, "fuck your M1, the nuclear bomb is way better."

  • @emt0229 a nuke would get no where near a M1 with todays modern air defence.

  • @R0ozter Me too ^^

  • @R0ozter And i know why... You have played battlefield.

  • the taliban watching from a distance must be shitin themselvs hah

  • @Kiiirk92

there are no taliban in iraq.. fucking noob

  • @m4aks74u right....

  • @Kiiirk92

sorry for that "fucking noob" that was unpolite...

  • The Styker is good for urban combat, however, in all out war (maybe with russia) the bradley might have to make a comeback.
