  • dear santa

  • The unfortunate thing is that the more heat there is, the less energy is converted to mechanical power.

  • @triggerhappy77707 intercooler

  • @dyenasty27 What i meant is the more heat coming from the exhaust, the less efficient the engine is. To calculate efficiency you take the temperature of the combustion gases and compare it with the exhaust temperature.

  • eargasm ................................

    !

  • thats still fuckin mean mate nice ride.

  • awesome sound.

i hope you don't mind if i copy that down and use it as my ringtone?!

  • u could light a smoke off that exhaust manifold

  • @phats24 if you could get your hand that close to touch the cig to it lol...

  • DESCRIPTON

dyno rx7 turbo pipe glows red hot

    it should be

dyno rx7 turbo pipe glows WHITE hot

  • rotary power is the way to go look up Bam bam from vivo racing fastest non turbo 13 b in the word rotor V.S piston is another video of how bad piston get beat the phuk down by rotors and quit the hate wen u own one u will know why they r so fast but u prolly gona get a ford pinto as a car ROTORS FTW

  • Rotaries are only unreliable in the hands of dick heads who slap big turbos and shit on without the intelligence to upgrade the engines vitals ;) a 500+ hp rotary is reliable when tuned right

  • All people that are 'torque-addicted' should go drive electric engines, they have more then enough torque, but I personnaly wouldn't be wanna caught dead in one off those (except for a tesla maybe ^^)

As for reliability... I rarely seen any reliable +600hp car anyway, so why care about it. I think this video shows an AMAZING car, and any real car lover would agree, without whining about reliablity. Next you could start crying about gallon/mile and emissions also.

  • The Series 4 1986–1988 was available with a naturally aspirated, fuel-injected 13B-VDEI producing 146 hp 108 kW. An optional turbocharged model, known as the Turbo II in the American market, had 182 hp 185 ps 135 kW. The Series 5 1989 1992 featured updated styling and better engine management as well as lighter rotors and a higher compression ratio, 9.7:1 for the naturally aspirated model and 9.0:1 for the turbo model. The naturally aspirated Series 5 FC made 160 hp 119 kW turbo 200hp-205ps

  • its looks so hot why doesnt it catch on fire?

  • Is that 2 rotor? Are those stock apex seals? Jet Coated downpipe? Just curious.

  • nice man love the turbo wen it spools. The rx7 looks good is that a 1985 or 86?

  • @craZybansheeboy umm dude? thats a 3rd gen. FD3S. so its a 93-2002 (depending on where it was made)

  • @craZybansheeboy

    It's a 90's model buddy.

    FD3S (third gen)

  • sick rotary at dfatspeed

  • sick ass fuck bro love how rx-7s sound ..

  • dudes for the money that this guy got into this rx7 i would of built 2 big block mustangs that would tear the rx7 up!!!!the reality of it is that tuners aint cheap!!! and is harder to get horsepower from an engine that has a lil bit of cubic inch!!!

  • @240sxcoupe09 And as soon as a corner comes up your big block mustangs go over the fucking cliff while the RX7 takes it easily.

  • @Laffolmbo really?

didnt the mustang take!st @ this years formula d?

  • this could have been the red light of hell :P

  • lol I like how there is so much space in the engine bay.... I want that in my GLI...

  • How can you say rotaries shit on pistons, considering a rotor is a centripetal motion piston? And they both have their benefits, rotaries can rev much higher than a comparable pushrod engine, but the pushrod (or overhead cam, or dohc, you get the point) can kick the rotaries ass in torque.

  • a boosted rotary is a beautiful thing

  • MAZDASPEED!!!!!

  • crazy gay

  • check this bad ass video perronrx7 vs bike

  • WARNING.........This video carries an infection..........Its called the aji8 bullshit bug...............careful now.......Its Contagious!!!

  • anyone know about fc rotarys? found an old rusted one and wanna rebuild but dont know if its worth the trouble.

  • @responsibleError depends on how bad condidtion its in? does it run? my brother has a 91 fc. is it a rusted out shit box? or what?

  • @martispeed it starts but the turbo doesn't spool and there is heavy oxidation on the block. the exaust seems fine and the tires are ok. its sitting in a junk yard i think somone had it sitting in a garage for a long time or somthing and just decided to throw it out.

  • @responsibleError in that case its all about if you got the money. its a light car if you got the money for an engine swap. lol. it cost close to the same to rebuild the rotary engin. dude if you can get it from there for free or at a decent price. do some research. you might be able to sell it the way it is for more than you by it for. or get it for free. any junk car is a good one in my oppinon. lol

  • yea but then take a look at 20B

Triple Rotor RX7 with a MASSIVE Turbo that Runs a Low 7ET almost a 6 Second Pass : with vankel and rotor thats power

  • phuk yehh..rotaries shit on pistons...

  • @aji8 why would you put a piston engine in an RX bay??thats retarded in itself, rotarry took a crap?haha

  • @peekingi

Not as retarded as keeping the unreliable rotary engine in the car and rebuilding over and over again.

  • @peekingi yeh lmfao xD

  • @peekingi

    except when they blow up

  • @peekingi too bad they wear out faster

  • @mexite236 it is a track engine... its does not do so well DD... it will tear up a v8 on track easy tho...

  • @Tj1056 I see your point, but the 13B can be a daily driver. The rx8 was built with 13b....now the 20b is the monster you keep on the race track.

  • @Tj1056 i dont doubt it its just the seals around the rotary

  • @mexite236 stock seals are weak... aftermarket can lasts very long...

  • @peekingi 95% you drive a car with pistons :) or you dont even have a car

  • @aji8 if you dont like rotary then get the fuck out and crawl up ur mums ass bitch

oh yea rotary is faster that pistons asshole

  • and if you dont like rotary why are you watching it

  • @aji8 proveing your points? the point that kids have to much time to go to EVERY rotory video cause your but hurt

  • This engine will ruin, just like all of the rotary junk.

  • You wont see alot of rotaries on the side of the road unless they are on fire, broken down or the police pulled them over. They aren't COMMON either so ofcourse you're going to see more broke ass boingers than rotors.

Never confuse common sense with logic. Commoners are fucking dumb.

  • then one day... boom!

    thats pretty wild.

  • No point in arguing. People are fucking dumb. You can build a reliable high hp turbo rotary and you can build a high hp turbo piston engine that is also just as reliable.

You can also build either or and skimp or use the wrong parts/tuning and blow them up once a year until you realize you've been fucking it up or your tuner is a dipshit.

Those of you arguing about which is better probably dont know your asshole from a pilot bearing.

  • Settle down champ... I'm not on anyones side.

  • @terribleoneprimopro

You area fool if you believe what you posted and need to get a clue about engine design and history.

  • @aji8 I think you're just a trolling ass hater. You're all over youtube shitting on rotaries. Granted i'm pulling mine out because i want better gas mileage, more power and less heat (drift car.....and daily driven at that) but they are very fun and have a certain appeal to them. When i'm driving hard deep into the redline and smashing through gears it's just amazing. not the "pinned to the seat" or "omg my car is faster/better than yours..." Idk, you've probably never driven one anyway...

  • @aji8 explaining a rotary to you would be like explaining homeowners insurance to a $5 hooker. A hooker probably wont ever own a house or have insurance so it's a waste of time.... You sound butt hurt. Did some bad rotary powered car rape your piston powered car's ass? Some rx7 owner at a bar cockblock and snag the bitch you were spitting at? Did your parents beat you with an eccentric shaft as a child?

  • @terribleoneprimopro Rotary sack of shit as usuall, as for the $5 hooker thats more than this piece of shit is worth

  • @terribleoneprimopro of corse another german design

  • @terribleoneprimopro Rotary and turbo = not reliable. Quit being a fan boy. There is a reason 90% of RX7's with almost 100k miles have had engine rebuilt.

  • @CoolbreezeX82X because stock seals suck... this is not ment to be a daily driver but if it was used as that completely stock will last 150k-170k miles... then rebuild with better seals and you can boost more and last longer...

  • @terribleoneprimopro Yes there is smart one, the Rotary requires more rebuilts than a typical PISTON engine would require.

    Enjoy your torqueless fun.

  • @terribleoneprimopro

+1 on the asshole from a pilot bearing. I literally laughed and texted my friend that.

  • @terribleoneprimopro can also build a high end N/A rotary or piston motor (:

  • @terribleoneprimopro THANK YOU FOR THIS COMMENT!

  • fighting on the internet is like entering the special olympics, even if you do win your still a fucking retard.

  • everybody on this video do yourself a favor and just ignore that dumbshit aji8 (whatever the fuck that stands for) he has nothung better to do but to go on youtube and knock on rotarys all day and jackoff to kiddy porn. just ignore him and like a retard he will go away.

  • I like your moronic responses. Please keep replying to my posts. You will keep replying as you are an idiot and have nothing better to do.

  • Hay retard i'm only responding because you cant seem to get you facts straight. The mazda rx8 WON the last lemann 24 in daytona fl. On feb.2010. While your precious V8 piece of shit could not even finish the race due to overheating and ENGINE PROBLEMS. So next time your retarded ass want's to commet GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT RETARD. and as for not putting them in all there cars we have retard ralph nader to thank for that.

p.s. is RALPH NADER related to. LOL

  • Well you need to get a brain first moron. Maybe my facts don't seem straight to you because you are an idiot. That is the reason. First off it is call LeMans, not lemann idiot. Second it is an endurance race in Francem not Daytona FL. Quit sniffing glue.

  • Ok you weasel little bitch so i spelled LeMans wrong wooooo big deal. The bottom line is your big clunky V8 did not finish the race because ford and chevy after all these years still cannot build a quality engine. Besides last time i checked the big 3 (chevy, ford and chrysler were the ones extending their hands out for bail out money not mazda or the rest of the japanese car builder. So what does that tell you genius american V8 is JUNK. Besides what the fuck do you drive to talk so much shit?

  • @monkeyboy882 ive argued with him a lot also but he is so stupid he doesnt understand common sense, ask him why ther are piston cars on the side of the road al lthe time and not rotories.. lol hes a jackass

  • DARKEYCE02 ya i can see that now trying to talk to him (aji8) is like trying to explain something to a retard it just wont sink in. So the best thing to do is just ignore him.

  • @monkeyboy882 lol i know, it could be set in stone but he still wouldnt beleive it

  • @darkeyce02

LOL...you don't see rotary powered cars on the road because they are rare. Either the rotary has been replaced with a piston engine or very few people own one. Got you again moron.

  • @aji8 omg your still on here...grow up a lil bitch...

  • @darkeyce02

IF you don't like my posts don't read them. Are you too stupid to realize this yet?

  • @aji8 your retarded, i think more than half of youtube has told you that, you get off on pissing people off cause you probly have no real life, your family died ors omething and you have nothing left... my friend drives a 1st gen targa rx7 with over 180,000 miles, and hasnt replaced one seal or anything internallt, my truck or my other car has needed shit, you will hardly ever see a rotory on the side of a road like terrible said, Got me again LOL dumbass...arent you still in junior high?

  • @aji8 you think your smart, but you have to realize kid you cant get off on peoples anger your whole life

  • I guess you are too stupid to realize that you don't have to read my posts as you are still reading and responding. Get a life man. You are a moron.,

  • @aji8 you know how stupid YOU just sounded telling ME to get a life... haha

  • @aji8 You say dont read your post!s Ok!

    So i have a question?

Is your occupation to stay on You tube & give Rotary a bad name and just state stupid facts and suck the mighty dick, of pistons? Because if your getting paid to do this why are wasting your life? Rx Rules!

  • stock rotarys fuck up because noobs think they can do 9000+ revs in them and drive them like fucktards... Build a rotary to do those kind of revs and they can last for years.

  • Keep making excuses for the glass engine. You guys are too funny.

  • Rotary engines are better then piston's only if they are built right. The parts are more expensive yes because Mazda introduced it to only 2 cars. The weight of the engine is also lighter although they consume to much gas. [Reliability pistons] [Performance rotary.]

  • Rotary engine is really the only ultra high stock engines. a rotary engine can run at max rpm for ages without a problem, the same cannot be said for ultra high rpm piston engines. This is the reason race engines are rebuilt after every race. Also to be noted, rotary stop making power after certain rpm due to engine design.

( it is also a pity we will never see rotary engine build or attempted for race spec, since they are banned after winning the race once)

  • LOL..sock 13Bs can't even last past 100K in most instances. Rotarys are garbage and usually require rebuild or replacement. Most elect to install a piston engine in its place so they can stop the unreliability and rebuild cycle.

  • o really thats why i have one with 165K on it and it works perfectly... hmmmmm and yes its stock

  • If and IF you have one that has 165K on it you are definitely in the minority.

Even folks with stock engines have had many problems and usually need to be rebuilt long before that.

  • hate to break it to you, but rotaries won the lemans twice in a row, the very first time they were entered into the competition, and then banned because they had so little moving parts, thus leaving normal piston engines in it's wake. Albeit not the greatest engine for daily use, you can't assume it's garbage, beacuse it's not it has it's ups and downs like everything.

  • Hate to break it to you also but that was about 20 years ago. Welcome to 2010 Rotard Van Winkle! Plus you make it sound like the rotary was way ahead in the game. Another falsehood. You rotards are full of them. The rotary is garbage and will never have the same spolight as piston engines. That is a fact!

Not even Mazda trusts the engine to put it into more than one model in its line-up.

  • I don't even have a rotary, but you cant just go saying it's shit. I like em, the sound the way they make power, generally a neat idea. I think the reason they didnt put it into more than one model is because of it's lack of fuel economy and putting an engine that gets below 15mpg as their economy car would put them out of business. On a side note, wtf do you drive that makes you so high and mighty... i bet it's a lambo, isnt it.

  • @SR4410 he actually drives a old rx7. with a chevy swap. he devalued his car but somehow made it better. lol hes a redneck

  • The rotary engine is junk and rarely makes it past 100K and you say they are more reliable than piston engines? You need your head examined. You are another rotard for sure.

  • Rotary > Piston in theory and ideal world, In WOT conditions, it is more efficient than piston engines. that being said, piston engine (by design) produce lower rpm torque, which allow for higher mpg. Rotary engine can easily rev up to 10k stock with a flash11k rpm if the transmission can handle it, 13k+ with updated seals. high reving engine is also only important for NA engines, once boosted, don't provide as much benefit.

  • @xsnipersgox Rotary however is still not a true rotational engine and actually is similar in effect to a 2 cylinder engine due to the offset necessary to create compression. Rotary also have the same problem with piston engine in that at ultra high rpm, we reach a physical limit of how fast the springs will work. (in piston, to open and close valves) and in rotary (to return the apex seals to provide proper compression) only true "rotary" engine is a turbine engine.

  • VID:Honda F1 Engine Test (high quality)

This is for the mentally handicapped poster disco2digger

  • k then what i would like you to do with those is check the cost on them and there life span i happen to know they replace the motor after each race dip shit. so try again. dumb ass

  • Piston engine all the way moron as you don't have to rebuild it as much. Rotarys are expensive when using race parts moron. This is not a stock engine.

  • ever wonder why they use so many cylinders with such short stroke? to reduce the rotating mass that is out of balance dumb ass so that should show you that the rotary is a great concept and can be a great motor if it is built right.

  • The fact is that you screwed up moron. You were proved wrong. Admit it and move on because you just look more stupid dancing around the fact that certain piston engines rev almost 2x times the max revs of the rotary.

  • You HATE rotaries. Okay.

  • not jumping in on the argument here.. but could you tell me what those engines are, that top the rotary in revs? just curious

and that comment about the formulas. mazda made one now that smoked them.

  • I posted that 3 days ago!! Look at the posts.

  • wondering how much power it made. sounded like a lot. it still had a pretty smooth idle. didn't go too crazy on the porting.

  • rotary engines LOVE to rev high and run a bit warm

  • almos melt the entire engine lol

  • @aji8 have you heard of a 26bpp it runs bettert han any v8 or lambo so i wouldnt say they are junk i would say they are one of the best engines out there

  • The Mazda 787B won Le Mans powered by a rotary engine. One of the main reasons why it won is due to its reliability. While the other drivers had to be gentle with their cars, the 787B could be abused without breaking down.

You have no clue what you are talking about. To someone with half a brain in their head, rotary engines have tons of potential.

  • There is no point talking to you. I prefer conversation with people who are capable of logical thought.

  • Then you just failed again. Although you will keep responding because you don't know what else to do. I await your response. LOL

  • You again? is this all you do? go around to different rotary related videos to start shit? i already put you in your place three times dont make room for another public embarrassment on your behalf... you have already proven several times that you dont even know shit about piston engines... let alone rotaries... sir, the only consistency you have in life is FAILURE

  • Yep, me again. I guess you are now a fan of mine which is cool. The rotary engine is junk. I threw mine away. I know more about engines than you ever will. Get a clue then come back and we can discuss then. Until then you are an idiot rotard.

  • If a rotard means that person prefers a rotary over a piston engine.. thats me. Grow up kid this isnt NFS Underground..

  • Close. Rotard is a mentally retarded rotary enthusiast that prefers the rotary engine over a piston engine.

  • Love the sound of a rotary on a dyno... except not as good as 10 rotaries screaming through a twisty road. ;)

  • エンジン壊れた?

  • its 38psi

  • perfect!

  • 39psi is alot of boost considerin normal turbos wnt even push out 7 8

So yes it's he'll of alot of boost

  • Let's see him drive it when it gets that hot down a straight...

  • Bwahahahaha aji8 is on here too.....what a loser....lol!!

  • i have never Heard of a Wrx owner use the term REX for there car. i was started by 7 owners and Crx owners not the Wrx or Sti!

  • Rex is the nickname for a mazda rx7 you pratt, not scoobies !

  • OMG THAT PIPE GETS RED SOOO FAST

and btw is 39 psi much ?

  • 39 psi is monster boost for a gas motor.

stock turbos for the most part push out less than 10 without mods.

  • 38 psi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • damn jet engine running

  • i love a good rex... they are hard to come by but im going to see if i can find one for my next car!

  • Wouldnt the word "rex" normaly be a associated with the subaru WRX?

or is it just a mazda thing?? hehe

  • Nah its for rx7 ... i mean ive never heard it quoted for a WRX but ya never know... There is a guy where i live with a 700 bhp FC and he rules the freeways around here unless the supras come around ... oh and there is a about 4 evos around the 600-700 mark also and i think they are all friends haha.

Ive seen a white supra everywhere in my city lately and so has my gf but i havnt seen it in action so idk if it is actually as fast as the rx7

  • Yup, a "REX" is a subaru . . I don't know any Mazda RX owners who use that term for thier rides . . .ps check out mine

  • Atleast someone agrees with me lol

  • ive only heard it in reference to a WRX.

  • I also have a friend with a 1979 original engine RX-7 with 826K miles on it, Mazda it willing to buy the car back at 1 million and give him a new RX-8. Piston engines are more expensive to build, but can last a very long time, rotaries are more fragile, but gain more power from the same modifications. A rotary is for someone with a light chassis who wants a manueverable car, they were not ever meant for outright drag racing. Then again, a V8 will not be able to stay with a 1ton RX-7 in corners.

  • i think that u know that rotary is patent of mazda so no one else can use it in their cars and if they want they have to pay to mazda that is why they are not used by any other about that are they better it depends on what u need and what u want from u're car

  • Not true sorry mate, a German company called NSU came up with the idea and sold the rights to General Motors, Mercedes-Benz and a few others as well as Toyo Koyo(Mazda). Mazda were the only ones good enough/persistant enough to turn it in to a production reality.

  • they were also used in the norton mororbikes in the uk

  • aji8

u dont even have a car why keep lying about having a 7 with a ls1.

why are you spamming rotary videos with your BS??? stop seeking attention this way, i know u like to see comments replying to u but this is pathetic what u are doing, everyone already know ur an idiot and a lying sack of dog shit!!! find a new subject to troll cuz this is getting old. enough rotary inthusiast already prove u wrong time and time again so stop spew BS to get attention!!! Go getta life idiot!!!

  • Shakes head..

  • Agreed, Rotary engines have been known to last hundreds of thousands of KMs/miles but 99% of the time don't. I like em cause they r a bit different.

  • The rotary engine was never unreliable. The unreliablity came from when Mazda introduce the FD with it's sequential twin turbo system. That, coupled with an inadequate cooling system, is why the engine became unstable. There are more than a few rotary engines with well over 300-400K miles on them. And before I can be flamed by angry posters asking for proof of these claims, I currently own a 1979 RX-7 with 525K miles on the original engine, basic maintanence being the only work done to it...

  • I've read most of this posting, don't ask why, I guess I'm just bored at. People replace rotaries with piston engines for 2 main reasons: 1) Pistons are more reliable when compared to HP #'s, not when compared with displacement. A same sized piston and rotary engine would be in favor of the rotary in terms of reliability. 2) Because more people are familiar with a piston engine. People don't like things that are unfamiliar to them. As for rotary engines being unreliable, see my next post....

  • what kinda intercooler does this have

  • holy shit........

  • i thought a BOV stops the turbos from fluttering?

  • yeah but sometime you need 2 BoV cuz only 1 is not enough to completely stop surge

  • JESUS!

    38 psi!!!

ur insane man, i would never do that to an rx-7, unless it was racing, i like rx-7's for thier incredible drift performance, they truely are an amazing car

  • isn't that bad if the turbo pipe gets that hot in such a short time?

  • Extreme :o

  • erm...petrol and gasoline are the same thing. Just different names.

  • Actually, they are not. The common view is that they are, but from an chemical engineering view, they are actually two different compounds. Too much to explain in a youtube reply, but find a chemical engineer, and they'll be able to describe the difference. Again, for ease of mind, the public views the two as one.

  • Lol, stupid keyboard worriors, hahaha!!

  • Dwh not going to lie you both sound like lame ass's bitching at one another on youtube. who the fuck cares? and say what you want this is the first comment ive ever left on here and the last... just grow up. thanks =)

ps. noob? really? do you feel cool saying that?

  • lol.Stfu noob u fail go take your car to a real track and actually try and see if u really have any skill what so ever u fail at life dude all u do is troll so many vids it's pathetic like everyone and myself has said u fucked up deal with it your's just hating on others because of your actual fuck up so pls just stop trying lol your weak comebacks rise my interest in crushing whatever u have to say fuckin loser.

  • theres no point with Aj he's a dumb fuck who cry's more than newborn baby just let him ramble on about his weak ls1 he threw into his Rx7 he still fails in life either way fuckin dumb ass lol...stop trolling man its getting really old and all your doing is just making make yourself look more and more like a fool.

  • You are the stupid one as my car is much better now moron!

  • You have destroyed a true beauty of a car. RX-7's are designed only for the wankel rotary. They are far better with one than with any other engine. Rotary's are the future of engine technology, especially as we begin to run out of fossil fuels. Piston engines can't run well on anything except what they were designed for, unless you modify them heavily. Rotary's can run on pretty much anything. I put biodiesel in my 3 rotor, and it ran better than it did on petrol.
