Every goal, he was just standing there 2 feet from the net with his thumb up his ass, until the puck was knocked in front of him and he started swinging his stick around until it went in. Ovechkin can actually make plays, finish plays, and bury the puck from 30, 40, and 50 feet out from the net off a one-timer. And embarrass somebody in a 1 on 1 situation.

Letang, in his valient efforts to maintain control of the puck, got his arms pinned in an unfortunate situation when Green checked his ass into the boards. No high elbow. Its part of the game. It was a great play by both players... Green's just stronger as was able to force him into the boards. Plus, the players themselves are typically a good guage on what is a "clean hit" and "non-clean hit". No penguins went after Greeen after the play ... pretty clear sign it was a good solid D play.

No, i didn't think Letang should have gotten a penalty, he clearly got the puck first, and I was shocked that he did. However, IF the refs were going to call a penalty on that, then it shouldve been a penalt shot as Steckle had more than "two stides" on the defender. So, I think the refs screwed up doubly.

and as for Cooke "trip/interference" Refs RARELY call anything 2 seconds into a faceoff. The teams are clashing, people are falling, pushing, etc and penalties are RARELY called for that stuff. Its accepted as part of the game
