Our smaller Sheltie "Java", will race around the yard in a circle as fast as he can whenever I squirt the hose. It used to be he would chase the spray, but now he does the circle even if I just spray for a second anywhere. He seems to go nuts if I so much as look at the hose.

What cutiepies! One of my 4 Shelties loves water and sprinklers too. A real water dog, he is. Amazing how skinny they are when they're soaking wet, huh? haha
Our shelties love the hose and the sprinklers too. I believe their herding instincts kick in.

Ahh, I see. This is why Linus doesn't play with the cat. He plays with the sprinklers! Man, he is really fast.

Tiffany is so fun to watch when she plays in the water. My other two shelties Maggie and Holly have no interest in playin in the water at all.
