Alakazam(weak defense, but extremely high special attack, my favorite pokemon), and Snorlax (put him in battle last and heal your other pokemon if your other pokemon are fainted or low on hitpoints)

best team in game, not only this gym, just in general

Charizard (once trained well, its fire moves can kill all pokemon types easily), Dragonite( Dragon pokemon can learn moves such as flamethrower, thunderbolt, icebeam, surf, etc. very good), Gyarados(Very strong pokemon, only weakness is electricity because it is a water/flying type so 4x damage), Pidegot (fast, powerful, someone to teach fly, overall good),

charizard: rockslide can take it in 2 turns

dragonite: one ice beam or blizzard and its outta here

gyarados: thunderbolt or thunder and its outta here

snorlax: physical attacks can easily defeat it. its a special tank not a physical one.

alakazam: physical attacks and its outta here
