I'm probably one of the few people who thought the first one was overrated crap. The story was great and all, but the combat was just a mess and the team AI had it's share of brainless moments. Which was a shame because the game had lots of potential.

I just hope that the sequel fixes these problems, and really polishes up the game. I wasn't able to finish the story due to the rubbish gameplay.

Full Charm

Full Intimidate

(these will allow you to talk Wrex down)

or you can do his family armor quest, you get this quest from talking to him while you're on the Normandy between each storyline Main planet (Feros, Therum, Noveria, Virmire, etc.)

I think the main reason they're adding Grunt is because there were some people who killed Wrex off, so they needed to add a way to implement a Krogan squadmate so they added Grunt.

No, Wrex makes an appearance but not as a squad member. Everyone but Tali gets only minor appearances.

Take Garrus for example, in one part he snipes enemies from afar while you and two other new squadmates kill guys. After the fight is over, he just wishes you a good one and leaves.
