Check and Balance is not something that we should be focusing on at this current state of economy. In tough times,we need to focus on efficiency,not extensive political argument over pointless topics. Look at Roosevelt and his administration, the only reason that he was able to accomplish so much was because a lack of opposition in the Senate and the House

Of course,when this storm passes..America NEEDS to resume its check and balances.Just not right now

This came up after a video from the Onion, and I really thought it was another Onion video - it is so incredibly inane - just a list of catch-phrases with no substance. Trust me - try listening to it as if were from the Onion - could you imagine even them or Saturday Night Live doing a better piss-take of an "all words no substance" politician??

To hell with health care! Government should be involved in those matters. We can't pay for programs that are out there now and they want to exspand and create new programs??? What the hell goes through their minds???

McCain, Romney and Bush the third, same old faces with new ideas, give me a break. It's people like McCain, Romney and Bush that drove me from the GOP. When you argue our stimulus package was better then their stimulus package you still don't get it. I don't want a big Republican government any more then I want a big Democratic government.

It will be interesting to see just how open this council is to ideas after seeing how they treated Ron Paul during the elections.
