Drat, the "blaster core" is an electronics board that Erv here has created. The blaster prop itself just acted as the housing, which is why you can get THAT in any toy store.
You'll need some basic skills in electronics before being able to successfully re-wire your blaster.
Nice "shot", if I can say so. This is a work in progress, actually. I've almost finished my Alien Pulse rifle with an airsoft M1A1. I'll add sound to it very soon using a blaster core. For this very project, I'll stay away from the graphic display cause it's not really screen accurate, but I'll take my "revenge" with a beautiful display on my motion tracker !
