25 lbs is only on the hi-mod version which only a select few can afford. How about reviewing what will be most commonly sold. The jekyll 4 and claymore 3. Both are over 30 lbs and over 2500 euro.
I just ordered a Claymore 3, it's weight is 32 lbs. I'll bring it down to 29 or 30 lbs this summer, if needed. These bikes are made heavy because they need to be well built for rough terrian and sturdiness comes with weight as well. 25 lbs is more for the average crosscountry biker, this is Overmountain
If you are gonna sell a bike for that much, you better have a scientist explaining the performance advantage of the materials used in Cannondale products. Instead of this cheese dick. I couldn't watch the whole thing it was annoying, but it seamed to me he was just "Naming" components. I don't even think dudes in a lab are as cheesey as that guy, a nerd could flip that guy.
@AdamSavage88 I can buy an Armalite .338 AR10 with a fraction of the money they want for that bike. Scope, Bipod, Extra mags (25 round) to boot. Still have enough to go down the road spend my money at a USA company. Ride that bike deep in the woods and get some fresh groceries. Starve on a Cannondale.
@camair2112 i am thinking about purchasing this bike. test ride in the parking lot was great but didnt tell me much since it was only a parking lot. Can you explain why this frame isnt that greaT?
ok do you want to know why without even riding this i would rather have a trek? simplicity. This is way too complicated.... not to understand, but just the functionality.
@TimeBandit415 How do I sound like an idiot? I'm a mechanical/Aero engineer and I design both carbon fiber and aluminum frames. Far from it. I'd be glad to explain why this frame is far from its true potential.
@alexthemtbr it depends if cannondale can keep up with fox's production of the shock and if they can't it may become one of the regular products. I know this because i work at a cannondale dealer if your wondering

Its pretty specific to the frame. I doubt they would sell it cus you cant just slap it on a different bike.
