Thanks. The shakiness is probably from my track-ir which I use in all my recording, and yes I used recorder for some shots but the majority was done in multiplayer.

Alright, well maybe you can help me with something. I have an AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core 4200+ and NVIDIA GeForce 6150 nForce 430. I noticed how incredibly smooth and detailed the flights were and I wondering if you could tell me how to improve my framerates. With all the settings on the lowest possible setting, I have about 6.7-12.0 fps and its bery choppy. I have SP1 and 2. Can you tell me how I can increase my framerates to anywhere near your framerates?

Unfortunately that AMD is your problem. None of their processors can really handle FSX, not even their best. Also your videocard isn't nearly powerful enough for it. I'm afraid you're looking at a new system to get decent fps, at *least* an Intel Q6600 and Nvidia 8800GT or better. Avoid AMD and ATI, neither are any good for FSX. Ideally go for an intel Penryn or i7 processor and really fast DDR3 ram. Good luck.

Hey , I have an intel core 2 quad Q6600 2.4GHZ , 2 GB DDR2 ram and a 256 MB ATI radeon 3650 HD graphics card. But fsx runs like shit. I was just wondering if I got 2 GB more ram I need to upgrade to 64 bit OS , how much does that cost.

Your ATI card is the problem, 256mb is not enough to run FSX properly. ATI cards and FSX are a bad mix due to the way ATIs render FSX's clouds. Get a good Nvidia card with 512 mb or more and you'll have quite a boost in performance. A 64 bit OS will help slightly as well, as will overclocking your processor to 3 ghz if you have good cooling, and 2GB more ram will also help a little, but that ATI is your main bottleneck atm.

Oh I couldn't possibly write a tutorial on how to do them, there's no formula for these things. As for the cameras, I do most of my shooting in multiplayer with a track-ir, helps get fun angles. And yup, edited in vegas. Cheers.

I'm making my own airplane for FSX yes, an L-39 Albatros. Been working on it for 8 months hehe. How to do it can't be explained in a book, let alone a youtube comment, but if you want to get into addon making you can install the SDK from your first FSX disc if you have the deluxe version. The documentation it comes with is pretty thorough.

I think one of the aspects that just make Ramasurinen's videos amazing is the way the video is presented.

It's almost like it's not a "game." The transitions between each scene are really smooth, and there's tons of views, making it seem.

To practice for the opening scene I have been practicing on my very slow cpu with the Kai Tak FlyTampa scenery. Slow computer+skype+FSX+greatest FPS killing scenery ever= about 4 FPS lol. The main reason I am metioning this project is that we would love either your help as a pilot or just with ideas for different shots. If you could help us with anything please send me a message.
