Singing a "happy song" about someone being killed even if it is in self defense unbecoming of for a "Man of God". That 16 year old boy was someone's son for crying out loud. The man who shot the boy had every right to defend himself, and I am glad that he did, but the fact that a man who claims to be a man of God singing a "happy song" about it is disturbing. Situations like this show that parents need to know the whereabouts and goings on of their children and also they need to monitor their childrens' ASSOCIATES and what type of other children they're hanging around.I had a cousin that was shot and killed a few years back at age 15. I honestly think it was his associates that influenced him to take part in robbing someone's home. There are plenty of people who grow up poor and do not make poor choices that cause them to go jail or to end up in prison. There are two factors in this situation. The 16 year old who chose to participate in an home invasion robbery and probably the single mother who raised him. This 16 year old wasn't the only 16 year old in this country being raised in poor conditions and by a single mom.

People should understand the possible consequences of firearm use in the home. If you have a family and you shoot a pistol, rounds go through walls and may strike family members, that’s not a good thing. It’s not easy for most people to accurately hit a target while under stress. People have the right to defend themselves, but should be safe and smart about it.

Last year I was at the gas station buying a pack of cigarettes and an energy drink, and these two boys who looked like they were 13 years old was giving the gas station a clerk and threatening his life, because he wouldn't sell them cigarettes.
