for your information. pashtun/afghan(awghan) are the sons of arian aka Scythians. And we are not from khorasan. we are from the land of avgana(awghanistan) its a sanskrit word means horse land. The theorey of pashtun beeing israelities is out. according to the Y-DNA they belong to Haplogroup R nor like the jews Haplogroup I+J. they are semitc and we are aryan. Pashto language is a branch of Indo European language family not semitic family like arabic and hebric.

@sabaawon Who are Pakhtoon...!! this is question which baffled every historian as yet they able to establish about their race if they r hebrew or arian. vast Majority of Pakhtoon scholar side with theory of pakhtoon being semitic. But other wise language wise pakhto is indo-Iranian branch language.DNA testing was done by prof aphreede,out of 1500 individuals 600 plus showed its semitic & rest as arian but again most people were selected from India& from west,not from heartland pakhtoonkhwa.cont

@sabaawon & history actually hint both towards semitic & arian origin(i did some humble research long ago so thats why i am ble to utter few words).In short i like most the Ghani Khan comment that pakhtoon are semitic but get crossed with every one! most probably thy moved too much & lies of cross road of civilization. Really thats not much important as almost none race is 100% pure(even jews) & important is tot ackle ignorance of pakhtoons.
