Yeah the jeweler is JP himself. This episode was directed by him as well. Rumor has it that the jeweler was meant to be a form of symbolism to signify "Brandon's soul." Either way, I think the concept was fabulous, including the entire episode!
One of the saddest moments was when K/B broke up due to them trying to make us believe that Kelly loved Dylan, even half as much as Brandon. Thats why when people bring up the whole " I Choose Me" thing its crazy. Because the next episode Kelly wanted to reunite with Brandon. Not Dylan. Brandon broke up with her and was going to hook up with Valerie. But anyway K/B were so special and when she showed him the ring, after buying it back. I cried. Because they finally reunited!
