  • PeterMarkAzzopardi is a personal trainer but can't even write coherently, oh dear...

  • Maybe it was not a subject in PT school? :)

  • Awesome strength and power, however to critique ur physique, r u a bulk builder i.e. no concern for bodyfat cause ur belly is v noticable u must be around 25% bodyfat and therefore when u r not lifting weights, no one is gonna really know u train cause there are loads of ppl wiv guts looking like that. Dont mean to be rude and I know its hard to stay lean and gain strength but 25% bf is excessive. BTW I cannot lift anywhere near that but if ur bf was lower, say 15% u would look awesome! :)

  • I do not give shit about looks. For me it is all strength.

  • Fair enough being a bulk builder / power lifter is fine if thats what u train for. Cause I work as a personal trainer 1:1 I cant allow myself to put on too much of a gut or ppl would just think I'm fat! You must eat a hell of a lot of calories to maintain that strength / bodyweight. BTW how do you recommend a stance for squats / deadlifts, i.e how much distance apart and toe flair? peace!

  • I am a certified PT too, but I have left that business. I am lifting only to get strong, period. :) For squats and deadlifts. Just change up things once in a while, try different stuff, and you will see what suits you the most. For squats I like narrow stance, high bar, close grip, and for deads I prefer sumo. There are so many variations. Try, and see what you like the most.

  • Well I normally squat with feet turned out slightly and deadlift with feet facing forwards but did not know if it is ok to do this. i am gonna have a go at the trap bar squat lift in this training cycle but I myself have been around 24% bodyfat recently and feel v self concious when personal training ppl. now I want to maintain it lower if I can but it may creep up again if I detect that I'm not as strong lol. I guess personal training is not that big in your area of Norway then?

  • Oh yeah.. personal training is big here, but the clients are mostly rich elderly people that expect to get everything for nothing. Not my idea of a great job.

  • Yes, I need to eat a shitload of food, and it is a real pain in the ass!

  • werry good from for that amount of weight, thought i would see a failed lift but i was wrong

    U have my respect

  • Most lift I post are not failed, as they are not so interesting to watch. Thanks.

  • i know these days.

i know them very well. lol

  • Yes, me too.. :(

  • I'm doing my Squats like you and starting with low weight but trying to do it with your form. So far so good. As always nice set Buddy.

  • good good! keep going! :D

  • kraft. Nothing wrong with this rep!, 5*.

  • it is a bit slow, that's all. :)

  • It's all good. Sometimes you have to grind out the lift.

  • yepp. :)

  • It was just one of those days you know, you will come back even stronger real soon! Still, you squats 20 kg above my suited PR completely raw on a bad day...

  • yepp, imagine that. :o

  • I agree with ''tlast2012dude''!!!!

    Very tough lift btw!Nice!

  • thanks.

  • I felt the same way with my last push press workout.I had nothing! It's just one of those days.Forget it and come back stronger next time!

  • Yes, I have had many of those days. It is important to keep fighting, also on rainy days! :)

  • today was one of thouse days for me xD

but i think that figthing on rainy days is what make you stronger. Everybody is strong in good days. But the strongest are the only ones that keep fighting when the rain starts to fall... xD poetic ^_^

  • You should become a philosopher! :)
