well i am a flutist. but i really do not see a very good control of the wind velocity & pressure shown by this instrument. you are playing it really nicely as i can see.. but the sound is not impressive.. may be you should use some other software like kontakt.. it has a great sax sound.. n if this comes well on it then this ewi is good..
cos the vibrato is not very impressive yet even when played by a pro player like u.. i blame the instrument or the software u using.. but good job sir..
i just bought the same few days ago but the instrument is so slow, is it because of me or because of the instrument? I can t play fast , how did you set up your akai? sorry if my english is bad
Sorry for the delayed response - I was out of town last week. In case you haven't gotten a response, in the "EWI Configuration" Window, under the "Setup Controls" tab, you can change the "Delay Setting" - Choose a lower setting for a faster response. I use a setting of "2". Good Luck.
Very nice sound! Is that the EWI400s or the EWIUSB? I am a sax player so i think this would be great for me. I'm not sure how well I'll take to it coming from a Selmer Paris C Alto, but I think I can make the adjustment.
