You should get a clue! We have not had a free market in the country for decades. In fact, the government actively DISCOURAGES a lot of "green" development. Nuclear development, for example, is punished and held back even though it is more "green" than many other methods of generating energy. The government is no longer there to help the people or the planet, just the special interest groups, a FREE MARKET would put an end to that.

"Global Warming" is a scam and most people know it. There's way too much evidence to prove that it's a scam and fictitious. Some of the largest increases in temperature were during periods of non-industrialization.
What about the antarctic and all the glaciers just melting away? Also a lie, there's more ice there than ever before. Glaciers shrink and grow constantly, so showing 1 on TV and claiming we're all doomed because a chunk fell off is about as good as useful as a mud pie.

Bush's proposal was to curb sulfur dioxide and acid rain, an obvious and proven health risk. This proposal only targeted industries that did emit these pollutants into the atmosphere.
Waxman/Markey's bill targets all energy production and inevitably will drive up the cost of energy for individuals, families and industry resulting in more damage to an already stagnant economy.

If Americans are not angry now..then they sure will be in a couple of years...after their energy prices double(car and electricity)..after they get the new world tax that Obama just agreed to, and after their state and local taxes also go up. Americans will soon be working over 50 % of their workday for one government agency or another. About the level of sharecroppers.

It does prove one thing, our representatives are completely corrupted. And, it doesn't matter how much we bitch and write they do what they want anyway. I subscribe to Washington Watch. They post the Bills, how much they cost each taxpayer, and a poll that shows the % of people for and against. 9 out 10 times we don't want what they are proposing. Do they care? Nooooooo.

Pols don't read the bills they sign ON PURPOSE, because if they did, they wouldn't have plausible deniability in saying "I didn't know THAT was in the bill." Their 'deriliction' is a mask to cover their treason.
