Haha, go do some research about the quart jar method. You can plant spores in brown rice or rye and grow it. Most dealers grow shrooms, they don't go out and harvest it for tons of people. Plus there's always the risk of a poisonous strain... it's risky.
However, your "florescent lights" don't factor into the equation. They are more handy for the enthnobotanical specimens you wish to study. In the pursuit of growing proper cubensis, the keys are humidity, temperature, and a contaminant-free environment, not light.
