The Pleiades in mythology were the daughters of Atlas and Titan pleioni, sisters of Yadon. The existence of the ancient Greeks were inspired from the namesake constellation, as in younger years was known as Puglia. They were born on Mount Kastro and considered deities of the mountain. From their union with Zeus born gods and heroes. The Pleiades were seven, and the stars of the constellation is visible to the naked eye:
