  • Wrapped up like a douche...

  • Wow fucking kill set list ... Thanks for posting such a masterpiece!!! He doesn't play this to much anymore after Manfred ruined this song with his version. Kinda sad because this is one of if not his best song ever!!!

  • 3:04 - 3:07 reminds me of 'Born To Run'. cool

  • I love this live version...very good. Thank you Bruce

  • democratic socialist, controlled by working enslaved by labor, what a damn shame, they got funk, as long as the check keeps coming

    -.-

  • Trolling? Me? Never!!

    Must be stupid, then.

    Thank you for your assessment.

  • Instead of singing, it sounds like Bruce is just saying the lyrics casually. It's not a terrible version but Manfred Mann really put some feeling into the song and had a much better style.

  • @SuperMarioStar10 what? are you mad?

  • manfred mans version is so much better

  • He stole Manfred's song! How dare he!

  • @accuristau o dear o dear.

  • @accuristau can't tell if trolling... or just stupid.

  • @accuristau Bruce wrote the song, They stole it from him.

  • i think manfred mann's version is better.. although bruce is amesome and he has alot of other great songs

  • manfred mann is still better

  • Who gives a shit what this guys email address is?

  • Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

  • DEDICATO ALLA STELLA PIU' LUMINOSA

  • Blasphemy! He destroyed the song.

  • @MsCarLalove517 he wrote this song... lol.

although i do like manfred mann's a bit better

  • @MsCarLalove517 uh...he wrote the song

  • this version suck the manfred man one was way better i hate bruce springsteen

  • @coltonwithano I pity you...

  • @coltonwithano fuck u don't comment this shit, this is a song written by bruce springsteen all about his childhood,he is the only one suitable to sing this, and if u had any musical inclination you would know that this version is better

  • @jrmoore89 Yeah back in 1960 and by the English Baned Manfred Mann

  • Do you have the 3 CD digital set Greetings from Buffalo?

  • A lot of people at this concert were probably like whys bruce springsteen covering this song? but all the die hard boss fans know he was the one who wrote it long live the boss

by the way i like both his version and mms version

  • Nice to hear "Cut Loose Like A Deuce" (The correct lyrics) instead of Manfred Mann's poorly pronounced cover "Wrapped Up Like A Douche" lol.

  • @matt4music They say "Revved up. lolol"

  • manfred mann's earth band's version is a lot better!!

  • @rockinsox35

    LMFAO Are you stone??????

  • really good...

  • Was in the band in the early 70's in philly. I was working in cc philly and ond of our guaritar players called and said you got to hear this guy. It was Bruce. When we heard all of Greating we decided to cover Blined by the light and it went over very very good. Did not know that other band did it until I got older but never cared for it.

  • NICE.....

  • Gotta give Bruce some credit for writing the song, but Manfred's version totally blows this out of the water. And it's not like Manfred just played it better, his arrangement is just leaps and bounds ahead of this.

  • @CJ9M: i seriously disagree on that, even though the manfred mann version is highly appreciated by a lot of people. i think this song in its original version is simply one of the best songs ever written. the storytelling spirit of the song is captured so much better by the original than the cover...

  • @CJ9M Well, to his credit, Springsteen was only a kid when he wrote the song, whereas Manfred Mann had already been an established musician for a decade.

  • @DragonDDT

Hmm, didn't know that, it's a good point.

  • @CJ9M Mann has no song without The Boss's lyrics and that's a fact. Mann also copied and also covered Bruce's Spirit In the Night. The only hit song Mann is known for to the average person is in fact Blinded by The Light. To each their own.

  • @revelation9985

Did I not say "Gotta give Bruce some credit for writing the song"? Sheesh, give me a break.

  • The Boss will live forever

  • I have to say I have always like Bruce Springsteen mainly because of my parent, though I can say I have never been a die hard fan. About two months ago I purchased Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J. and I must say that I am now a die hard Boss fan. One of the best albums I have ever heard. Has been on nonstop since I bought it.

  • love the boss but manfred mann does it well

  • Still like the Manfred Mann cover, of course it wouldn't be without The Boss.

  • coolest

  • like heaven on earth

  • bwahaha no wonder this isnt the popular one go manfred

  • @billykristles you sir, are a moron, manfreds would be ok if it werent a cover of this song.

  • bwahahahahaha so thats why this one isnt the popular one. not even close to the mann.

  • bwahahahaha there is a reason why manfred manns is the more popular one

  • I was there! It was the best time ever!

  • god damn that was impressive

  • bruce wat a genius

  • Bruce is the best! Can anybody sing the Jersey shore or the working class better than him. He has got it and he sings it. Bruce is the sound track of my life. Jersey girl, now a Vermont one. But soulfully always with him.

  • mannfred mans version sucks compared to this

  • You are absolutely right

  • Manfred Mann's Earth Band did a pretty good job too. Didn't know Springsteen wrote it though. That is excellent.

  • I was there at this show and it was an amazing experience. That whole album along with WIESS was great to see live.

  • great song from a great man! is that from his first or second album?

  • I've converted many haters. All you gotta do is play the boss until everyone knows every word and then they'll sing bruce whether they like it or not.

First song from one of the greatest records I've ever heard. I wish I could've been there.

  • @mariahrunsmarathons There are Bruce haters? WTF?

I never thought he was "god", but he is a top 1% talent at many levels!

    Keep the conversions going....

  • @mariahrunsmarathons

    Yeah...I was a hater...but I came around...love him now...personally he's almost Bono....but musically he's kind of a genius!

  • @mariahrunsmarathons I think that's brainwashing others. But maybe you meant something else. after all - I'm on weed =D

  • @mariahrunsmarathons.......i have done that to so many ppl i love it!!

  • Any chance you got footage of Rosalita? My daughter is the girl he sang to wearing Bruce's Santa hat?

  • This is amazing. Could you PLEASE post that quirky song "Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?"

  • I was 17 when this album came out and listened to it non stop. I moved to Oregon from Jersey in '76 and played Bruce non stop. My west coast friends were into Frampton, Doobie Bros., they would tell me all Bruce does is scream and yell and not sing. I told them just go see him once then tell me what you think. I'm glad to say I've converted many people along the way. Great to see the best rock and roll band still churning. Thanks for the memories Bruce. See you further on up the road!

  • I don't care if he's 60, that frozen zone part was hott...

  • PleASE, PLEASE, upload Restless Nights... I'm from Brasil and here is almost impossible I buy a DVD from you... I really want to watch this song live...

    thanks for the atention!!!

  • Great me abd ny girl were there!

  • If you have Spirit in the Night from this show, could you please upload it? Thanks.

  • Do you have Lost in the Flood from this show??
