We do not promote the Angel Juicer. Our money was taken by the Angel Company, and they never shipped us the juicers. We are not able to do business with a company that will not settle their debts. The 8006 is chrome plated plastic, and not all stainless steel. Is it worth 4x the price of the 8004? I know for a fact it does not make 4x as much yield.. and personally do not believe its worth 4x the price especially when there may not be support (parts) in the future.
The vertical style juicers overall do put more pulp in the juice, especially because they do not include an additional screen like other horizontal single auger juicers. The juice can be easily strained out as shown in the video:
Hey John.... heres a question for you.... using the "Good, Better, Best" model I wondered how the juice machine types (in juice nutrition quality) stack up? In other words how long if properly stored does the nutrition quality stay high? Masticating Juicers V.S. Centrifugal Juicers V.S. the Norwalk Juicer. How long can you store the Juice?
Hello John, I believe you can help me out with this one. What I need the most is to extract every drop of liquid even from the most apparently dry vegetables. For instance, from orange peel. And I want it to be very well filtered, as much "crystal clear" juice as it would be possible. What machine do you recommend me to look for. Thank you and congratulations for your work.
Right now we have a Jack Lelane juicer which was a gift. My complaint is the amount of juice that is produced for the amount of produce used. Is there a juicer you can recommend which are more efficient? Thank you for your great videos!
Yes, there are MORE efficient juicers. The most efficient is the Norwalk Juicer, a twenty five hundred dollar juicer.. See
watch?v=3XM3VgyJszM
for juicers that tend to be most efficient. That being said, its best to match the juicer with what specifically you want to juice. For example, some juicers are more efficient at juicing greens, some are more efficient at juicing carrots. See
I want to juice EVERYTHING, wheat grass, carrots apples kales oranges, grapefruits. I want the Highest yeild na easiest to clean and want a long warranty 10yrs or more.
John - Tks again. I noticed VRT350 produces more foam than the 8600 (better for greens/not so much fruit). I love my Vitamix, but not so much having to add water or another liquid to make it work. Do you think it can work if I do some juicing (greens/fruits) on VRT350 or 8600 and use the resulted juice to put into the Vitamix and mix with berries, bananas, peaches, plums etc? Would it then compromise the slow oxidation? I like to juice in the morning and take it to work for the afternoons.
Yes, I often times juice in the vrt or 8004 and then add it to the blender to blend in additional fruits. Just the other day I juiced cactus fruits and then blended with raspberries. yummm..
John - Tks so much for so much good info. After watching almos all your videos, I am into the Omega VRT350. You mentioned in many videos, pulp comes dry. Do you think that the pulp out of VRT350 would amount to more juice if pressed or it is REALLY pretty much dry? I want for both fruit & veggies.
In ANY juicer aside from a norwalk or Two step process (the welles press as the 2nd step), the pulp will be wet. You WILL be able to squeeze juice out of pulp on the vrt, as well as most other juicers. The wetness of the pulp will depend on the juicer you are using and the produce being juiced. Each juicer has its pros and cons and I try to show the differences in the many videos I produce.
"Better" is a interesting word comparing the 8004 and 8005. Techically they are the "same" juicer. The 8004 comes with a 8x harder auger and 5 year longer warranty, so if you consider that better. They should yield the same results in real world use, so technically thats the same. The value add is the upgraded parts, larger catch cup and longer warranty, which makes it "better" to me...due to features.. not performance.
Without knowing "what" you want to juice,it can be difficult to recommend a specific juicer. Im assuming you want to juice "everything" or most fruits and vegetables, and NOT concentrating on any one particular produce item. In that case, I recommend the Centrifugal Ejection Style juicers. Please check my videos for the Lequip 110.5, Lequip 215XL, the Omega BMJ330 or Omega BMJ390 which are the ones I can recommend at this point.
John, I don't doubt your knowledge in juicers one bit, but I heard for the price, that the green star 5000 juicer is the best on the market, cause it produces more juice than any other juicer, and because of the slow rpm motor. What do u think about that?
Each person seems to have "their own opinion" on which juicer is best.. and it may be true... for them. Please understand each person has different needs. That being said, please look up my videos where I do actual yield testing with the Green Star 5000 and other juicers. It comes out on top alot of the time, but not all the time.
your vids are jammed packed for of useful info! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge! Im thinking of getting the Omega horizontal. Seems like it has the most features. Coconut cream and banana icecream sounds good!
John what juicer you recommend that will juice fruits & veg. and still get the maximum juice from the juicer? I don't want two juicers just one. Thank you, keep up the good work.
Maximum Yield? It depends on what you want to juice. In general, the Norwalk Juicer will get the highest yield on most produce. You can get similiar results using a welles press and using a juicer as a grinder. Please search my other videos for "norwalk wells" to see that video. Otherwise, I recommend purchasing the juicer that will get the highest yield on the produce you want to juice most.
I hope to get one soon and will do testing with it. Basically the powergrind pro is a centrifugal ejection juicer with a grinding plate. I can see how it will be more effective than a centrifugal ejection alone, but not as effective as a single auger style machine on things like wheatgrass and leafy greens.
Yes, you can purchase one juicer for hard veggies/apples such as centrifugal ejection machine and one for leafy greens, such as a horizontal auger (8004/8006) or get the Omega VRT that basically does most things fairly well.
We do not promote the Angel Juicer. Our money was taken by the Angel Company, and they never shipped us the juicers. We are not able to do business with a company that will not settle their debts. Why not put the pulp back into the juicer to extract even more juice?
ckpeltomaa 3 months ago
You can do this with limited success depending on the juicer. Some juicers, this technique works well, and others, not so well.

Where do they sell the Breville with a ten year warranty? I can only find it with a 1 year.
the3blairs 4 months ago
The Breville only has a 1 year warranty. I talk about the Lequip 215XL which is similiar to the breville that costs less and has a 10 year warranty.

For juicing "everything" and easy cleaning, I would recommend the Omega 8004 or 8006 at this time, they have a 15 yr warranty.

The Norwalk juicer is expensive yes, but it will last more than a life time. It is built to last forever and will hardly ever break down.
