Thanks for all of your videos! You've inspired me greatly to live my life for GOD and with him. I even found a church near my home! My father and I will go to mass next Sunday. I know becoming Catholic is a big step for a 14 year old, but I know that this is what GOD wants me to do.

One other really good course for beginners, also by Vic, is Catholic Basics. I just got it finished this morning ... 69 videos long. It's a six to ten week course. Like Shopping for Jesus, the Basics course is designed for anyone, not just the seasoned Catholic. God bless you in your journey. - Mary Ann, videographer.

This video was shot over two days and on the second day, I look weird ... swollen. My strange look is at the end of the video on the last takes. That's what happens when you're intolerant to glutens (wheat, oats, bran), soy, milk products, and most shell fish and don't know it! I had a LOT of food allergies and hadn't a clue and loved to eat all of those things. Anyway, my face normally doesn't look like a cantaloupe (my look at the end). LOL!!!

There's a lot of different flavours of Masses. So, you can try some that may be more for younger people. The reason a Catholic might feel different than some Protestant churches is that we focus more on prayer and reflection, rather than an emotional high, however certain groups within the Church have charismatic groups.

oh, i was raised a catholic and i started leaning towards lutheranism when i found out it was more fun :P
