I keep trying to understand why all these people keep responding with these religious comments. Can his voice not just be perfect and wonderful without having to place your false deities in with it? The man sounds wonderful, beautiful and captivating, screw your religious banter and compliment his voice.

What makes Bocelli magical is that he does not use his technique to impose when he is singing in the popular genres. Instead he uses it to mould his voice to the needs and emotions of the music and lyrics.
Too often we hear popular singers yodelling something that is approximating a gospel riff in music for which such ornamentation is totally unsuited. They do this because their techinque is inadequate.
Bocelli serves the song, the composer and the lyricist with simple truth and honesty.
