It is early days we haven't even tried to capture the magnetosphere's positrons yet. Which are a lot nice to deal with than anti-protons from a radiation perspective. I hope that positronium is also crack able from a technical perspective. There is good work here and progress to be made.
Do think progress will be linear or do you think we'll luck out and it might be exponential?
Sadly our attitude improves slowly. TNT and atomic power come to mind.
Current physics denies sustainability. Things are finite and have limits.
I want denser power to achieve use of our solar system. If we could convince regulators/the public we could probably use nuclear thermal rockets already.
There's a tendency with life either you expand your reach or you tend to die out. I aspire to more than stagnation like crocodiles and horseshoe crabs.
Sustainability is relative. Our relative ages have nothing to do with the validity of arguments. The crew shielding wasn't the problem it was the light materials to make an engine of sufficient thrust. Some say we have the material technology now. Regardless a bomber has different requirements and design than a rocket. We become fit by learning to use things. I agree we need to clean up. Nuclear power is a good way to clean up. Life is expanding on earth.
I'm interested in rockets and I'd try if it wouldn't take many more times than my net worth just in the authorization paperwork. I don't want to be thrown in jail for doing research without a license.
I have scraped together a little money and am planning on taking on one of several projects that interest me. Do you have any low cost projects you think I should consider?
I think we may have serious troubles. I'm also pretty certain there will be those in power that still have the opportunity to spend vast resources while others suffer. There is too much value in being able to launch weapons sensors and communications.
How to say this. I think Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor would be clean enough and sustain growth until other resources become available.
If we have to limit ourselves to solar and it's children wind and water based power we end up with sever cut backs that have not just quality but quantity of life impacts. I wouldn't expect these cutbacks to come peacefully.
There may well be lean times ahead. I think people may reevaluate what nuclear power has to offer before it grows too dire. I hope many people will come back to urban living with bicycling and community mass transit. I think we are close to a technological solution for space based solar power though I still think nuclear easier. As I've mentioned previously I think LFTR is a viable solution. Though not the only one.
Again I recommend reading up on thorium. For example india just approved construction of a thorium heavy water reactor.
The material with the short peak you site is uranium as used in light water reactors.
Faster breeder and thorium thermal breeders have vastly more fuel. I'm not sure about the fuel make up of heavy water reactors I've heard they use unrefined uranium which means one of the number 2 reactor design used may already have a large fuel supply.
I'm curious did you have personal involvement with the nuclear bomber programs?
Do you have an assessment of Nuclear thermal rocket technology? I'm of the opinion fear is it's largest problem the actual chance or results of a crash being a far second considering we've used bombs.

@yellowecotec Anyone who does not think there is enough land to grow hemp for fuel and still grow food crops need to take a serious look at all the waste land that can be converted into arable land. 6 ways mushrooms can save the world. Hemp would also be a great resource to convert land into arable land good for growing food crops. There are other methods to increase yield per acre: vertical greenhouses, growing on rooftops, and why not make use of those hydro fields grow cannabis.

very good video my friend, need more like you. if you haven't already seen it, i would highly recommend the documentary "Thrive" it is right up your ally. we don't even need anti matter!
@chingchombuela Check out my blog (click my name) link is to the left in about me. I have a documentary Thrive Exposed, Clear Compass Media took down parts 1-3 on youtube! Its on vimeo, I have other videos exposing Thrive with ILLUMINATI symbolism and SUMLIMINAL MESSAGES in the DISINFORMATION movie.
Check out my new video "World Government Elections 2012 Ron Paul DISINFO"
@yellowecotec there's no symbolism. they just pointed out what it was. all i saw was a guy so obsessed with his weed he thinks he has to "expose" anything else.
@chingchombuela your basically outright lying or you HAVE NOT done ANY investigation. Its NOT just the symbolism its NOT just the disinformation in the propaganda movie Thrive which is why I expose it Ignorance towards cannabis IS a FASCIST mindset created FROM RACIST PROPAGANDA by HEARST media who are THE SAME Hearst who out FALSE copyright claims on my antimatter documentary (nobody dies from cannabis, water kills people)
@yellowecotec hehe ur funny when ur mad yes, water kills ppl, we can all live off cannabis, in fact, we should consume nothing but pot and destroy our lungs with weed smoke haha yes we should, water is poisonous, we need to genetically engineer ourselves so we're half weed and then well be real healthy hehe yes, pot=god and we can make antimatter so we can grow weed in space!
@chingchombuela stop spreading bullshit. how does cannabis destroy lungs it HEALS my lungs opens them up because I used to HATE cannabis myself and I actually believed the DISINFORMATION it destroys lungs, WHAT BULLSHIT it heals my lungs.
you are very very misinformed DO SOME RESEARCH. are you really that dummied down by the education system? sad pathetic world this is...
@chingchombuela Does Foster Gamble, heir to the Procter & Gamble fortune, know that P&G does hundreds of millions of dollars of business with the Pentagon and is one of the top contractors for the U.S War Dept.? Does he know that P&G did business with Nazi Germany’s Third Reich? Of course he does.
P&G has admitted using guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, rats and mice in their ‘laboratory research’, as well as cats and dogs in food experiments.
@61miroman We need repeal of an unconstitutional law that has filled our prisons with nonviolent cannabis users. The prohibition against marijuana was unconstitutional from its inception. We don’t want legalization of marijuana which leaves the government to control and regulate it. Thomas Jefferson was a hemp farmer. In early Colonial times people could pay their taxes with hemp!
@61miroman Cannabis needs to be exempted from all laws practically everywhere, the only way to put the cartels out of business is to allow the cultivation, processing, transportation, distribution, sales, trade, sharing, possession, consumption and use of cannabis (hemp) for industrial, medicinal, nutritional and recreational purposes repealed. Nobody has any right to restrict anyone, any age, a harmless plant safer than drinking water.
Theres other problems with antimatter drives, at the super high speeds like 1/4 lightspeed if the ship were to hit a 1 inch object it would release enough kinetic energy to be equivalent to a nuclear bomb. Antimatter annihilation also creates great amounts of gamma radiation, so shielding becomes more of a concern than even a fission or fusion drive.
Hate to bust someones bubble but antimatter might be ok for getting around the local neighborhood but according to NASA, the amount of antimatter fuel needed to get a ship to the nearest star at 4 lightyears would require a fuel tank bigger than the largest oil tanker in the world today. The best hoped for speed at 1/4 lightspeed would still take 20 years to get there. And thats if you dont become a useless blob from the forces. Better off hoping for someone discovering warp drive.
Oil is oil it doesn't mater if it's from the dinasaur era or if it comes from hemp. Every car that burns petroleum also burns oxygen that we breathe. There is seven billion people on this rock and it seem like they all have to drive cadilacs. The planet can't sustain all the cars. It's insanity to watch the traffic cameras day in day out. People driving five miles an hour wasting time and fuel.
@61miroman yes thats because hemp is illegal (no real sustainable local jobs just tourism and manufacturing lesser quality products than hemp)
if people were working locally do you think people would be traveling so much? no. Everything is so inefficient today WHY is anyone against efficiency (cannabis/hemp) hemp takes in co2 as plant food 4x more than trees!
We need repeal of an unconstitutional law that has filled our prisons with nonviolent pot smokers. The prohibition against marijuana was unconstitutional from its inception.
very good representation mate! I always love to see how space is and how we can reach far out of it. Too bad here in my place, there's very little chance to see stars in nighttime. all being replaced by neons, cloudy weather, pollution that blocks view from my place.
sadly, people here never think any of this. Their "future" is to have as many money as possible. My future, to see humanity goes into star ocean, making any possibility into new possibility.
That "Ted: 6 ways mushrooms can save the world" video is actually very interesting. Watched it a few months ago on TED. If you don't know what TED is, you'd better find out. Good video. Liked the music. Reminds me of Final Fantasy. makes me want to hook up my ps2.
@okNusku Exactly the point of why I make videos about space no more roads! See my new documentary in my channel Antimatter: The Future is Now just over an hour long. This world could be much more efficient. Repair damged rivers and streams by growing hemp and mushrooms. Search "6 ways mushrooms can save the world" if you are not aware of that. :)
@okNusku I agree! We need PLENTY of land NATURAL but the cities that are big let them develop more. Civilization will have a difficult time adapting if we do not colonize space Hawking is a LIAR and Fraud who lies about aliens being a threat to take over our resources (hemp is the most superior RENEWABLE resource) ALL RESOURCES ON EARTH came from ASTEROIDS look at the asteroid belt=plenty of resources why would aliens come to earth for LESS resources when its cheaper, faster, better in space?
@cartercarter1 I made this video on my mothers computer that is very slow, I used royalty free music because I do not want copyright claims for music and annoy my viewers with ads like so many other youtube channels do.
Where is the Love? Why so much hate? Don't like the music turn it off, the info is more important than the music. EVERYONE has a different taste of music, me I dont listen to music, nature is my music. I CAN NOT make everyone happy, peoples EGOs are bigger than their brains
we have a fractional reserve system that isnt backed by anything... and there are ways to leverage principle in this system up to 36 times thanks to Bush.. DOD has has trillions for thier black ops budget.
@NeoLeafProductions Several methods do create artificial gravity fields. It's all new field of research so there is MUCH that is UNEXPLORED.
Watch a documentary in my favorites its called "Space Wars S04E08 - The Universe - History Channel" or search on youtube a scientist in that documentary gives an explanation how why we can travel at any speed really.
I have a new documentary in my youtube channel Antimatter: The Future is Now, reuploaded in 5 parts after youtube censored my full version. Evidence is in my channel of censorship. I HAD a notification while uploading saying my account was enabled for uploads longer than 15 minutes so how on earth could the video be rejected for being too long, unless it was censored! How do you think I uploaded my other videos >15 min?
The full documentary is just over an hour long! Enjoy :)
A video has over 9000 views Avatar -the movie (another impossible interstellar propulsion system)
I show in the documentary designs to build a starship like in Avatar designs from a .edu website very similar to the ship in avatar just smaller, no reason it can't be scaled up. That design I show is an old one, a new one (like avatar) can be made.
Plus, the invention secrecy act, WHO KNOWS what amazing technology has been taken over by corruption and well hidden!
the reason why we don't get better technology and colonize other planets is : oil, nuclear companys that milk people by paying bills and they cfontrol the governments as long as they exist we will never get water powerd cars, electric cars, antigravity cars, solar power cars sme for home electricity
Hawking and a lot of other 'scientific' types are talking about fear aliens, aliens are bad, total propaganda, if aliens were bad they would have ALREADY taken over, look at fukashima in Japan poisoning the earth with nuclear radioation they would have interfered but MAYBE they are conscious and do not interfere in other worldly affairs its OUR problem.
A lot of people are waiting for 2012 ETs to come 'save the world' I say: Open your eyes! Check out my channel I have a HD Antimatter Trailer
@AlwaysDOA Yup, check out my new video "Notice anything Wrong?" That is whats up, I made that one just under 15 minutes so anyone can upload it, I will upload a better version after the end of the month because my bandwidth is maxed. The agenda is speeding up faster than anyone had thought possible. Star wars does not have to become reality, video games are preparing kids for this so it is "normal" to them.
@yellowecotec Yeah ever since i was younger (23 now) I have always known movies were not just someone sitting in their room saying.. "Hmm.. Im gonna make a movie with spaceships flying.. their gonna look like this.. and the planet is going to look like that... " No ONE human being is that creative to come up with ALL we see in movies.... Its all based on true storys.. especially that "Apollo 18" movie pisses me off
Just a FYI, user Ursuadams is having his followers flag individuals videos that disprove his videos. He doesn't like correction, and stripping away peoples freedom to simply show actual facts. He is creating fear and clearly showing he has a agenda in his channel. He will not allow reason in his channel. Anyone in opposition to his videos in a mature matter gets removed regardless.
@3966m have u played the game galactic civilization? this looks like the game. i guess these tecnologies exist in the universe, but it was hidden from us.
i was disappointed to realise half way through most of your video is not even about antimatter spacecraft propulsion. And i'm also wondering if you like to smoke joints.
It seems like you're just using the idea on antimatter spacecraft propulsion to load off your beliefs on why cannabis should be legalised.
personally i don't think it should be legalised to the public, because i've seen what it does to my friends and i don't like how they've changed for worse. End of.
@sounddesigner91 Do you have any evidence of a single death by cannabis? I can think of legal drugs that kill in the millions each year. the US government owns medical patents on cannabis are you that brainwashed?
@yellowecotec don't fucking call me brainwashed asshole, if you'd read my comment, you'd see I don't agree with it BECAUSE OF WHAT IT'S DONE TO MY FRIENDS! First hand experience dumbass, no brainwashing involved. My thought, my opinions, my beliefs.
I never mentioned anything about it killing people. It doesn't need to, because it destroys the person's personality.
FACT - cannabis lowers your motivation
FACT - cannabis can make you schizophrenic if you have a particular gene as it triggers it.
@sounddesigner91 Wow your ignorance speaks for itself. Aparently you don't need evidence for your beliefs you just believe it even if everything you say is the exact opposite with cannabis.
Cannabis oil cures schizophrenia, there is no link, only the propaganda you believe that you force onto others.
Stupid trolls are working OVER TIME spreading DISINFO in my videos. Wasting my time, wasting every one elses time.
Get back to reality, cannabis has never harmed anyone, legal drugs kill millions
@yellowecotec canabis can kill, but very rarely, It has efects in the body, sensations ,and can cause some ilneess, but is not the canabis that cause the ilness, but the condition that the user is can much more, and also enviromental factors i think. canabis can be good for artrits and other things. but can cause cancer. any way, every thing has the goods and bads, even orange juice can harm the stomac.
@mariamole011 There has never been a single record death in history due to cannabis. In fact you can die eating too much food, you can die drinking too much water, but you can not die smoking too much cannabis. It is physically impossible.
The air we all breathe now is highly toxic pollution is a major source of sickness lowers immune systems causes cancer. Smoking cannabis heals my asthma. Cannabis oil is the more medicinal way to use
@yellowecotec i agree with you. but some one once told me aboult some people could die from intoxication since they could be alergic, but if that is true , only a few numbers.
i know it heals asma, canabis cure cancer?? that is new to me, we need to legalise it, do like in holand.
Look in the description for a link to download the Uncensored 21 minute version of this video. Mediafire is a free file sharing service and I have it uploaded on there to so anyone can download it.
@hellgorama Of course the powers that be do not want society to have access to safe, non-addictive, anti-aging medicine that cures cancers and most diseases on this planet. Throughout history hemp was known as a cure-all, the best source of food, the best oil and best source of non toxic heat to stay warm in the winters (no electricity back then.) The powers that be actually sold coal to the public, hemp can be made into non toxic coal, or ethanol, plastic and so much else.

that you could actually DO something with is one HELL
of a long way off. THAT'S my point. First thing you
learn in physics is the difference between science and

@darkcynite Anyone who says that can't happen would

we probably will have to figure out lots of other sort of related
problems first, like becoming a decent species and taking
care of our people so we don't go out with a brand new

and get enslaved for a million years. We need to master
sustainable energy before we'll ever have enough to

@darkcynite Physics is where the notion of sustainability
comes from, child! Union of Concerned Scientists were
the first thirty YEARS ago to advise the president on the
problem with climate change! They tried to build a nuclear
bomber and couldn't, because it irradiated the crew, so
how again a spacecraft? The old expand or shrink flies
in the face of billions of years of sustainability of life on this
planet BEFORE US!! We're not yet FIT to HAVE denser
power! We need to clean up!

if it were true that the young were not fatuous and easily fooled.
However, they seem to be, and it makes sense out of their
lack of life experience. If you want to claim it can be done, then
go research the nuclear plane and try to make it work. Consider
it a dare. But don't pretend you know what you're talking about
when hundreds spent years of their lives finding out that they
couldn't do it.

@darkcynite I love rockets, built them as a child. I won a
science fair in 1964 with a rocket of mine that went two miles.
You don't need a license, just the open space and abide by
FAA rules. The problem with rockets is that the huge list of
problems humans need solved this century are about energy,
and rockets waste time and energy. Nobody will be interested
in space for the rest of this century as soon as peak oil or global
warming hits big time. They'll be too busy surviving.

@darkcynite Nuclear is too dangerous, too costly compared
to renewables, and would use up too much valuable resource
for what can only be a 20 year delay to when the fuel runs out.
Nuclear is peak-able in the next few decades as well. Few people
seem to acknowledge that. We need to spend the energy we
have left on building the renewables to do the whole job, and
we're so short of those it may take devoting major solar
energy facilities to PV foundry/metals refineries for mirrors.

@darkcynite Gas is to hit $5 a gallon by Memorial Day. After that it
is onward and upward for oil prices, and the scary times begin.
The total cost of nuclear when all costs are fairly considered
exceeds that of even solar PV and is well more costly than
wind and thermal solar. Sec of Energy Stephen Chu says that
the reservation for a single nuclear power plant, if populated
instead by photovoltaics, can produce as much energy more
cheaply than the nuclear plant they'd build there.

@darkcynite I'm not THAT old! No, it was in the late
fifties early sixties. The old Nerva project worked fine,
but of course it was dirty. Once we decided we couldn't
leave fallout all over the world we decided not to. Nuclear
rockets in space are fine, if you can attach them to an
asteroid for shielding, or a huge water tank. But small ones
can't carry enough shielding. There are schemes to put
the engine on very long booms away from the humans,
but all that is more launch weight.

@yellowecotec hehe ur funny when ur mad yes, water kills ppl, we can all live off cannabis, in fact, we should consume nothing but pot and destroy our lungs with weed smoke haha yes we should, water is poisonous, we need to genetically engineer ourselves so we're half weed and then well be real healthy hehe yes, pot=god and we can make antimatter so we can grow weed in space!
chingchombuela 1 month ago

P&G has admitted using guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, rats and mice in their ‘laboratory research’, as well as cats and dogs in food experiments.
yellowecotec 1 month ago
@yellowecotec yes, he does, that's why he said he doesn't like them and won't take anything from them, i see you did no research.

The best thing legislators can do is pass the all you can smoke without prejudice bill. Localy grown government inspected AAA bud bug and mold free.
Taxable as is tobbacco and spirits would be in the best interests of all humanity.
If the cops pull you over though and your eyes are a little glossy and you have a grin on your face he will require a blood sample.
No big flipping mistery HUH.

@61miroman Regulate: to govern or direct according to rule
Control: to exercise restraining or directing influence over : (i.e. to regulate)
Tax: to make onerous (troublesome/burdensome) and rigorous demands on
Legalization sounds like the corporate takeover of the cannabis industry via government legislation
(over-taxation, over-regulation and over-control)
yellowecotec 1 month ago
@61miroman We need repeal of an unconstitutional law that has filled our prisons with nonviolent cannabis users. The prohibition against marijuana was unconstitutional from its inception. We don’t want legalization of marijuana which leaves the government to control and regulate it. Thomas Jefferson was a hemp farmer. In early Colonial times people could pay their taxes with hemp!
yellowecotec 1 month ago

Antimatter annihilation also creates great amounts of gamma radiation, so shielding becomes more of a concern than even a fission or fusion drive.
fairlanejay 2 months ago

61miroman 2 months ago
@61miroman yes thats because hemp is illegal (no real sustainable local jobs just tourism and manufacturing lesser quality products than hemp)
if people were working locally do you think people would be traveling so much? no. Everything is so inefficient today WHY is anyone against efficiency (cannabis/hemp) hemp takes in co2 as plant food 4x more than trees!
yellowecotec 2 months ago
@61miroman we need other sourses, bio fuels, electric cars, and hemp cars

very good representation mate!

Reminds me of Final Fantasy. makes me want to hook up my ps2.

okNusku 5 months ago 4
@okNusku Exactly the point of why I make videos about space no more roads! See my new documentary in my channel Antimatter: The Future is Now just over an hour long. This world could be much more efficient. Repair damged rivers and streams by growing hemp and mushrooms. Search "6 ways mushrooms can save the world" if you are not aware of that. :)
yellowecotec 5 months ago

Enjoy :)
yellowecotec 5 months ago
A video has over 9000 views Avatar -the movie (another impossible interstellar propulsion system)
I show in the documentary designs to build a starship like in Avatar designs from a .edu website very similar to the ship in avatar just smaller, no reason it can't be scaled up. That design I show is an old one, a new one (like avatar) can be made.
Plus, the invention secrecy act, WHO KNOWS what amazing technology has been taken over by corruption and well hidden!
yellowecotec 5 months ago
O.o nope the main reason is money , and lack of such tech to make it economically viable
mercenarieboy 5 months ago
the reason why we don't get better technology and colonize other planets is : oil, nuclear companys that milk people by paying bills and they cfontrol the governments as long as they exist we will never get water powerd cars, electric cars, antigravity cars, solar power cars sme for home electricity

Star wars does not have to become reality, video games are preparing kids for this so it is "normal" to them.
yellowecotec 6 months ago

Anyone in opposition to his videos in a mature matter gets removed regardless.

mariamole011 6 months ago
i was disappointed to realise half way through most of your video is not even about antimatter spacecraft propulsion.
End of.
sounddesigner91 6 months ago
@sounddesigner91 Do you have any evidence of a single death by cannabis? I can think of legal drugs that kill in the millions each year. the US government owns medical patents on cannabis are you that brainwashed?
yellowecotec 6 months ago
@yellowecotec don't fucking call me brainwashed asshole, if you'd read my comment, you'd see I don't agree with it BECAUSE OF WHAT IT'S DONE TO MY FRIENDS! First hand experience dumbass, no brainwashing involved. My thought, my opinions, my beliefs.
I never mentioned anything about it killing people. It doesn't need to, because it destroys the person's personality.
FACT - cannabis lowers your motivation
FACT - cannabis can make you schizophrenic if you have a particular gene as it triggers it.
sounddesigner91 6 months ago
@sounddesigner91 Wow your ignorance speaks for itself. Aparently you don't need evidence for your beliefs you just believe it even if everything you say is the exact opposite with cannabis.
Cannabis oil cures schizophrenia, there is no link, only the propaganda you believe that you force onto others.
Stupid trolls are working OVER TIME spreading DISINFO in my videos. Wasting my time, wasting every one elses time.

Grant691 6 months ago
@yellowecotec canabis can kill, but very rarely, It has efects in the body, sensations ,and can cause some ilneess, but is not the canabis that cause the ilness, but the condition that the user is can much more, and also enviromental factors i think. canabis can be good for artrits and other things. but can cause cancer. any way, every thing has the goods and bads, even orange juice can harm the stomac.
mariamole011 6 months ago
@mariamole011 There has never been a single record death in history due to cannabis. In fact you can die eating too much food, you can die drinking too much water, but you can not die smoking too much cannabis. It is physically impossible.
The air we all breathe now is highly toxic pollution is a major source of sickness lowers immune systems causes cancer. Smoking cannabis heals my asthma. Cannabis oil is the more medicinal way to use

I suspect the reason why it was censored was because you promoted marijuana.
hellgorama 8 months ago
@hellgorama Of course the powers that be do not want society to have access to safe, non-addictive, anti-aging medicine that cures cancers and most diseases on this planet. Throughout history hemp was known as a cure-all, the best source of food, the best oil and best source of non toxic heat to stay warm in the winters (no electricity back then.) The powers that be actually sold coal to the public, hemp can be made into non toxic coal, or ethanol, plastic and so much else.
