@ian2813 Yeah, that's weird, but in a way it's understandable. Mostly it's because she grew up in a house without a TV (According to her, when NPR talked to her recently), and naturally, if you hadn't been able to watch TV in the last 40 years or so, you probably would not have seen or even heard of Laurel and Hardy. I would hope by now she knows who he was! :)

I am attracted to her as a musician not only because of her abilty to make music but also because she appears to be such an attractive and approachable person. I so hope this apparent humility isn't simply great marketing.
