Nice video! For all you guys about MPG's I have a 79 f-150 ranger 3:55 gears C-6 auto 351M 4bbl mild cam and get 12.5 MPG's that's with 35" all terrain tires Oh yeah the truck weighs 5,250 pounds with 2 average men in it! I know its not great but it could be worse!

That is one old tired truck. Too heavy, Motor sounds like shit and shows it with lack of wheel spin and they are by no means big tires. Fresh built motor and a set of lower gears with lockers and it will make a world of differnce.

Well have you ever been to actual trails like the rubicon or moab? Jeeps and toyotas pretty much are kings of rated trails. Wheelbase is not the only thing jeeps have there is footprint and power to weight ratio. Also the straight six is really not bad IMO. If you know how to do things like lower your ring and pinion terra low t-case etc. You dont have to swap axles if you intend on doing crap like this vid or you havent locked your axles.

Also when you get to the places where you NEED a locker (places this truck or any other fullsize would never see) the dana 30/35 axles on the wrangler are a bit weak.
