dohhh The TSA scanners dont use Terahertz! Even the article on the screen mentions mm wave its 1000 times lower than terahertz (10 power 12 Hertz). The terahertz scanners are only in the lab and 5 to 10 years away. An automatic shop door opener uses the same frequency as these scanners and similar powers. So if your worried dont go to the mall! Plus the frequency of light dictates the resolution so images with mm wave only have mm resolution so you cant see pores!

I don't really mind these full body scanners. If the country's enemies are willing to go to extreme lengths to attack us then the government has to go to extreme lengths in order to protect us. I don't about anyone else but I don't mind getting scanned. Besides everything gives you cancer nowadays. Breathing can gives you cancer for god's sakes. Exposure is allowd only under 1 rule in for example hospitals, ALARA = As Low As Reasonebly Posible. The rays of the machine are not very penetriv en the dose is mayby not high but all it takes is a single damaged DNA string to couse ?skin cancer? a cancer in your lens!!..
