  • i have this on my psp i remember love playing this now im like wtf

  • 0:18 Did that girl just say Scrooge McDuck is totally hot?

  • i cant wait till this comes out

  • If I be played in this commercial I would be saying piece shit.

  • Gos I love this game. Still play it to this day.

  • Yes, yes.. to all those who know it, it was a great game for sure!!! Damn it was fun walking through walls getting all those secrets!!! I LOVE secrets stuff on games! LOL!

  • honestly, this was a fucking great game. I played the shit ouf of it. It's one of those rare cases where you think, "this game is gonna suck" and you wind up playing it all weekend with no regrets.

  • @RexFuJesus Randy? wtf?

  • @RexFuJesus your a swear-word hole!

thinking a swear word in your head is just as bad as saying it! do you really think god is judging you on whether you cuss or not?

  • WAYYYY radical, man!

  • radical!

  • Wow. Did they not expect kids to notice that, other than "quackup", the kids could have been playing any video game? And did they really think we actually talked like that?

  • I used to leave this game on overnight on the title screen. I really liked the music and it made me really relaxed. I guess leaving your NES on for that long night after night isn't good for the NES, one night I went to turn on the NES before I went to bed and smoke started coming out of it. My dad smelled it and ran in my room. He was like "It's cause you leave it on every night, you broke it! You're such a little asshole I hate you" My dad really liked NES too and was really pissed.

  • @perkoff did he actually say all that stuff?

  • Ofcourse Capcom, it looks like a Mega Man Game. (no it really does!, I mean the graphics etc)

  • It's a shame they don't make license titles this awesome anymore.

  • go Capcom

  • CRAZY DUCK IN SPACE!!!

  • Video games and video game commercials were the bomb on up until the year 2000 hit.. then things slowly started going to hell.. like with everything else.. i rarely see games i want to play anymore... it sucks..

  • WAY RADICAL, MAN!

  • Man this game brings back a lot of great memories along with Chip and Dales rescue rangers

  • ducktales is awesome, but darkwing duck is better

  • This game looks sooo cool!

  • I remember renting this from Blockbuster and staying up all night playing this.. Classic game. Need to be put on XBox live so I can download it

  • according to right wing faggots... all those kids should be serial killers because they played nintendo

  • @somaco7 according to left wing watered downfag-troll doushefarms, this game should be banned cuz scrooge uses a lethal weapon(a cane) in an effort to stop badguys that probably were just misunderstood and needed a hug. fuck off punkass left wing troll

  • WAY RADICAL MAN?!! Really? Really?

  • Note how the commercial doesn't have anything to do with DuckTales!

  • I don't remember a lot of my NES games but I loved this one.

  • i remember watching the cartoon back in 1991 lol

  • Ah, a bunch of quack if you ask me.

  • keep pressing 6 xD

  • @SunshineLP1 Keep pressing 6 and then press 8. The big payoff lol

  • 0:14 Scrooge MacDuck? You're fired.

  • Totally radical man!

  • Ooh heck, I had that game. It was fun!

  • WAY RADICAL!!!

  • Duck Tales. The only game you can beat by hopping through the entire game... well, that and Frogger.

  • LOL!! early 90s quotes

  • @HyperSonicXtreme this game came out in late 80s mate not early 90s

  • 0:23 is how i used to get fustrated with this game...

  • to be a kid again. i feel old at 27 :(

  • @itsuyo211 im 29 gonna be 30.. this sucks i hate it so bad

  • i love how these old ad's focused on everything but the game

  • This game was awesome

  • One of my favorite games, i had this for Christmas about 22 years ago for my nintendo and loved it.

  • tuddly hawt

  • I love how the kid hits the button repeatedly at :16 to make it look challenging like an "adult's" video game. All you do is hold the button down. I played this last night.

  • this was that game back in the day

  • @Locke1217 I know what u mean, even though I am like 12, I feel the same way as u and I want to go back in time to the 80s

  • Why on Earth does the background music remind me of Crash Bandicoot 2's "Sewer" theme?

  • Sounds more like a Teenage Mutant Ninja (Hero) Turtles game commercial :P

The way does kids talk about the game ^^

  • Kids back then played cooler stuff than kids now days I have this game I bought it at a garage sell along with a NES

  • @DrNo0Entertainment1 shut up faggot

  • This game needs to be on the Virtual Console, but instead, we get crap like 'Hanna Montana Horse Adventures'!

  • @Launchpad05 I know. Instead of good games, they put up a bunch of bullshit nobody gives a fuck about. I wish Nintendo had a special e-mail account just for suggestions of games to put on Virtual Console.

  • Those were the days when we could play

    so innocent games.

    Another classic.

  • Still one of the greatest video games ever made!

  • Labratories are like that?

  • Yeah, I think that game was totally- CRAZY DUCK IN SPACE-... What was that? OHHHHH YOU'RE REALLY GREEDY AND YOU'RE OLD... That was completely involuntary, I swear! -YOU GOT A CREEPY SCOTTISH ACCENT DUDE... Please, make it stop... AND YOU BATHE IN GOLD, BATHE IN GOLD!... I'm scared.

  • lolz get a capturecard :D

  • "Cool"

    "Totally Hot"

    "Way Radical Man"

    "Excellent"

    "Its a Quakup" (LOL)

Welcome to bill and teds' excellent adventure

  • @mdma4life You forgot: "OOOOoooowww!" I know....it sounds silly.

  • Cheesy commercial aside, this was one of the best games that NES released. Great music, addicting gameplay, awesome level design, good graphics. It had all the elements that you want in a video game. Usually, games that are based on TV shows or movies are pretty bad, but this was gold.

  • I like how this game promote a guy that wants to be filthy rich and promote also the value of capitalism.....you don't make games like that anymoer!!!!

  • Locke is correct

  • What about Game Boy?

  • i love how the boy in the end groaned, showing he knew it was a bad joke.

  • I would like to know if a Ducktales 3 could be posible...my inner child would be so happy.

  • This was the first video game I ever played.

  • Even a Barney video game would be awesome to play in an environment like this. The place is like some kind of fusion between a science lab and a cathedral.

    Way radical, man!

  • this game was so hard before my thumbs grew up

  • wow.. radical. I havent heard that in like 20 years HAHA

  • "It's a quack up!"

    *kid groans*

  • Its a quack up?

Hey guys, its alright, its just a quack up dawgs.

  • I feel sorry for kids today. They're either suburbian Gangsta's or 80's throwback emo dicks. Ducktales was and still is one of my faves. It was totally radical!

  • @JeffroTV Depends on what you define as kids! I'm 16 now and I love nes, snes and n64. One of my favourite games today is mega man 2. But I guess there are always exceptions. As most of my friends puke at the fact there are still games being in in 2 dimentions! But to the video... oh god what an bad commercial... in an awesome way.

  • We were like those kids back then, my God!

    I regret nothing!

  • i'd facepalm too after a line like that X)

  • This was back when Capcom didn't suck. Now they're a quackup!

  • @Prizm4 fuck you capcom kicks ass

  • richest duck in the world, wtf?

  • I still have that game for my good ol' NES system! I also have the one for my gameboy!

  • i miss the 90's

  • "Way radical, man!"

  • I still have this game in my cabinet.

  • I loved this game! Classic

  • Duck Tales Quest For Gold on Amiga was heaps better

  • CAPCOM RULES! :D

  • Hahahaha I had this one too,...

  • ita a great game!! i recomended.

  • Ducktales legend

  • I've beaten this game... but not with the option to get the special ending against Glumgold.

  • "It's a quackup!"

Other kid: UUUUUUUUGH!! He knew that joke sucked.

  • DUCK TAILS, AH-WOOOHOOO!!!

  • lol... Tales*

  • w/e

  • lol, wut?

  • thats what im playing tonight. thank god for roms

  • Way Raddical man im like totaly high

    lol nice commerc

  • this is without a doubt one of the greatest games of all time, but the kid that says it's a quackup, different story.

  • Hell no...

  • Hell to da naw...

  • Street Fighter 4, Resident Evil 5, a new Deadrising in October? And you say they SUCK?! Capcom is one of the best game developers EVAR, dude.

  • NAOoooo!

  • Well... in sweden, commercial directed to children are a serius crime.

I wonder what happened in the us...

  • As long as it isn't for alcohol, tobacco and other, more mature-type products, nothing. They are a thriving market.

  • older game commercials ruled!

  • "Way radical man!"

Oh god, how times have changed XD

  • this game is hard the 2 first time you play it...

after that, its not so hard any more.. it is plain inosent fun :D

jumping on your stick collecting dimonds ^^

  • i remember the day i got this :O

    i was like *hugh eyes*

it was the 5 game i had for my NES

    i was soooo happy :' D

    ^^

  • they barely showed gameplay for the great game

  • WAY RADICAL MAN

  • super duper radical bro dude buddy

  • Wow, just listen to those late 80's catchphrases!

Ducktales fucking ruled. It was not only one of the best licensed games ever, but one of the best NES games ever! Let's not forget that moon theme!

  • did you ever beat it? I have had an nes since like 90 and have never beaten that game.

  • 0:22 The kid knew it was a BAAAD joke.

  • 0:23 - Haha, the kid looks like he's in some corporate meeting saying "It's a quack-up!"

  • They had a similar format to one of their Street Fighter radio commercials that I heard once, "We asked experts what they thought of...."

  • this gameis really good

  • "Radical, man!" XD

  • It's good because Capcom made it

  • "DuckTales: It is hard as fuck! For the Nintendo Entertainment System."

  • I know, I have never beaten it! Great game tho

  • This is one awesome game...

Not only is duck tales one of the best NES games ever... its one of the best VIDEO games ever...

  • "way radical man he" this kid look high

  • Thomas Ian Nicholas of American Pie fame is in this commercial.

  • Interesting, I dont remember seeing this commercial. This game does rock though...very nastolgic times

  • Lol, the slang in the 90s were so lame.

    " Way Radical man! ".

  • it was lame in a good way. Everything today is just depressing. I feel like I'm living in a cultural dark age.

  • Good point.

  • Our slang is just going to seem weird to kids 20 years from now. Now we can think of words like "awesome!" and "radical!" and giggle abotu how silly the 80's/90's were. I don't think kids in 20 years will go around saying "cool beans" or "my bad" or "legit" in the same way.

  • @Locke1217

The 80's and early 90's ruled, commericals, cartoons, everything! I loved how creative, colorful, whacky and bug nuts these commercials used to be. Yet nowadays all of the commercials on tv and even cartoons are so fucking depressing and bland it's sickening. I wish I had a time machine, oh well! I can always watch my favorite 80's/90's cartoons on DVD, play my Nes and check out these awesome commercials on YouTube all at the same time while smoking a joint hehe.

  • @Locke1217 We really do. It's sad, actually. Ever since Britney Spears, shit has just gone downhill.

  • Comment removed

  • @Locke1217 damn i agree with u so much

  • @Locke1217 I know. And also, nowadays its like almost all forms of entertainment (ESPECIALLY television) just don't give a shit when it comes to making something high quality and enjoyable. its just become so bland and sickening.

  • @Locke1217 The attitude in entertainment today is to be ironic and detached about everything. Whatever happened to just committing to liking or not liking something? Why do we have to put quotation marks around the word when we say we "like" something anymore?

  • @GilbertSmith Because facebook exists..? >.<

  • i use to play that game and beatten it as well without cheats.

  • wow..i remember they had a commercial for this, even back then i thought it was funny

  • Totaly hot! Way radical man!

  • Notice how they play the game like it's nothin'. IT'S EVERYTHING, MAN! This game, with Little Nemo, is one of The hardest games on NES.

  • 0:18 "totally hot!" lol XD

  • lol, that kid at 18 seconds is a kid i went to elementary school with. His name is john fiske, and we both tried out for this commercial, lol. i couldnt believe i found this commercial on the net again

  • oh man wat good old days haha

  • Way radical man.

  • me and mu sister used to play the hell out of this game,we had to blow into the cartage sometimes to get it to work.

  • that was the only way to get most the games work. and everyone knew about it even without the interwebs. but it voided the warranty on the cart from nintendo doing so and could harm the console. kinda like putting the cart into the nintendo, sliding it in to where it barely would push down, and then pressing power. worked almost every time

  • Ah-hahah, "totally hot" XD

This was a fun game, actually. XP

    Rock on, CAPCOM.

  • Gosh, I remember I had this video game from NES!! Oooooh, the good ol' days!!

  • One of the few 80's comercials, which doesn't make you puke.

It a really great game too.

  • Sounds like it

  • is that mr. feenie's voice?

  • Man, this is old school. I used to play this and beat the whole game under 15 minutes.

  • Great TV ad!

  • "Way radical man" :D
