And what they do - refusing to serve the army - is against the democracy - because the military service is a mandatory service - and everyone has to serve - regardless of political opinions. They deserve to be in jail. Noone like traitors. Not even Arabs.

What these young people are doing is really incredible and inspirational. They give up their own freedom to try to ensure the freedom of complete strangers. This kind of bravery is so rare in the world today. These young men and women should be praised as heroes, not locked away in a jail cell for being humanitarians. I hope Hamas and other Palestinians can see this and learn that violence is not the way forward. There is still hope for a peaceful resolution to this awful conflict.
